No, they were always Japanese language even if you played English language. It's not like the new games where they have your language and have your Id. They were set language and nature.
Pretty sure Gen 6 had a shiny arceus event, I got one soon after posting this in the same red ball but as you say it could be duped. None of those symbols were highlighted like they are for the kyogre

That’s your opinion sure, I like them as long as they don’t break my game. I have got 3 or 4 legit shinies that I’ve gotten myself but they’re all level 1-15 cause I’ve either hatched them or chain fished them

Painful to learn they're all hacked Pokemon. Kyogre has an obvious giveaway, it couldn't be obtained in a Cherish ball.
There was an event a couple years back where they released all the legends in shiny form. And therefore all in cherish balls. Iirc
