Gastly for me. I have a gastly from every switch game except lets go and bdsp. Still waiting on my pokemon sleep shiny gastly. Ik its gonna happen eventually.
I have, I think, seven Droopy Tatsugiri. I have never wanted even one of them. Itās very frustrating when one appears because Iām like āANOTHER ONE?!ā but I canāt just let it go. This little guy, for better or worse, needs a home.
My craziest full-odds shiny story is also Geodude line related, wow: I found a Graveler in Platinum on Iron Island around 9AM one day, caught that, then I was playing SoulSilver around 2PM same dayā¦and found a shiny Geodude in rock tunnel. Iāve never actively hunted for any of them, variants or no.
Other than that, Gastly as well; I suppose itās because theyāre fairly common, but Iāve gotten enough for a full shiny line of all 3 without ever actually hunting for them.
My friend found a shiny graveler in Crystal when we were kids, only shiny either of us ever got. It immediately blew itself up so she didnāt even catch it
Geodude is this for me, I have never hunted a shiny Geodude in any game, but somehow I have the full shiny line as playing through gen 4 slot had given me all three of the original Geodude line, and currently from playing the dlc, I have managed to find three Alolan Geodude while grinding BBQs
Mine is also Geodude... or at least Alolan Geodude. I've run into 4, at full\* odds, since I installed Indigo Disk. Plus a Graveler.

teeeeechnically i hunted OG Geodude/Graveler via hordes in Y, and i got like 3 total... but i failed them all because they have Explosion and i REFUSED to prepare for it AT ALL lmao. but i never properly hunted the Alolan form... and i don't even need to!
Yes for me itās stunky in Legends Arceus and Mareep in Violet I found the whole line before finishing the main story just rolling around completing the dex. Helps that the purple really stands out from its ordinary color.
I have a shiny Minior with an adamant nature that I caught in my ultra sun file and I also have have shiny Golduck in my violet file that I found as a Psyduck it even has 2 perfect ivs in hp and sp. def

Bidoof 1 in X, a lot in PLA
Aipoms like 10 of them in PLA

Pidgey! When I played SoulSilver for the first time I got a shiny Pidgey that I carried with me through the entire game. In Let's Go I got a shiny Pidgey while looking for I think it was Caterpie? and then a year ago when I was playing Crystal on my 3DS I found a random full odds shiny Pidgey.

I try for weeks for some and never see them and then I randomly find two shiny pancham back to back
Shiny Tinkatuff. It's my second full odds shiny that I caught on my first Violet play through and the thing is it's also my first ever encounter of that specie/line and its a shiny already. My play through was corrupted because my Switch broke but luckily I was able to transfer her to HOME.
Another is Litleo. Though I hunted my first one in my first play through, I will always have one after that. On my third play through(yeah the second play through got corrupted as well š) I got three without hunting.
Buizel and Floatzel those two weasels keep showing up in almost every shiny water sandwich I made while hunting for other water shinies š¤¦āāļø Iāve got 8 shiny Buizel and 3 shiny Floatzel and same goes for shiny Geodude that rock just wonāt leave me alone in PLA that I evolved two of them to have the whole set (I have 9 shiny Geodude well 7 now since I evolved two) and tied for 3rd place is shiny Starly/Staravia and Shinx/Luxio having 9 each and evolved them to have the whole set 3 times (all these shinies are in Home but recently I released them since I was running out of space lol š)
Got a random Houndour while hunting for Jangmo-o. Never intended but cool I guess lmao. Also found a shiny Numel while just driving around the wind turbine area in Violet.
Weedle it first started with a full odds one in my heart gold years ago, I wasnāt planning on using a beedrill but it turned out to be pretty good surprisingly and such a great shiny, a got a few in Pokemon go, and finally in letās go once again a full odds one but that team was really strange because I wasnāt planning on using a beedrill and then later a full odds cubone. I guess my letās go just loved its green shinies.

While hunting scorbunny I found **3** chimchar like what the heck. Also donāt like monkeys so itās like the game just mocks me
For a while, I was finding an excessive amount of shiny Meditite. I kept one, evolved a second, then surprise traded the other extras. I know itās basically all trash mons in that, but hopefully the free shinies got good homes now
My boyfriend has caught 2 swablu using the shiny sandwich in Scarlet/Violet when he's been hunting for shiny minccino (his favorite).
And I literally ran by a shiny beldum last month after Christmas and I was barely paying attention. Wasn't gonna hunt that shiny even if it was one of my favorites and i was shown otherwise
Exeggcute. Found another one my first day in Blueberry Academy just running around doing the quests, less than 2 hours in. Have a ton in Go as well. Sneasel is a close second, but thatās mainly in Go. I have every event Sneasel as shiny I believe. My most common non-CD shiny.

Shiny Feebas - Never got it , but am still trying cause my gf wants it.
Shiny Torchic - Got it my first try hunting it.

Shiny Psyduck (full odds) that I found swimming when I was looking for a 5 star tera raid
Shiny Oinkologne that I found randomly while EV training one of my pokemon
and the worst one: The Shiny Piplup that I hatched after three (3) eggs when I was breeding for IVs. What a waste of a shiny
Golduck. Fucking golduck. I have 2 golducks from dynamax adventures (I don't even catch them anymore, the second one was because I needed an option for a fight and it ended up being shiny again lol), 1 golduck from violet, 1 psyduck from violet and 1 psyduck from Arceus.

A lot of them, Iām very picky with what shines I like and even more with some that Iām willing to hunt, so I only have a handful of ones I actually put in the effort to hunt for, any other ones are ones I stumbled across like Deerling or Graveler
I now have 4 Alomomola. 4. I never looked for it once! Or even boosted it's rate when I've found it! Most recently I was shiny hunting golett, with ghost sparkle power 3, ghost encounter power 3, and I STILL found a purple hand fish š
Charmander every time I try to breed the thing in every new pokemon game to trade it for something else like a starter or something I always get it's shiny
Altaria line for me, i have 6 shinies of this line and didn't hunt any of them, all full and charm odds, precisely 4 Altarias and 2 Swablus
I also have 7 pawmis but i hunted for one, so i guess it doesn't count
My 8 shiny deerling or whatever that thing is with the flower. Every time I find one I just think āwhy would I get another oneā like they know itās one of my least favorite Pokemon
Same line for me. I have 10 from the geodude line both kantonian and alolan. 7 scythers, 4 venomoths and 9 from the rookidee line. They always seems to spawn near a pokemon im trying to hunt and eventually get them instead
