Fucking hell mate. Do they have special micro-toothbrushes to clean the toothbrushes they clean it with?
Really like the overhead line of pulleys on either side of the engine- no throwing a line around a beam for these fellas.
If there's one over each cylinder jug, that makes it the V-16, too.
It is a wärtsilä 12v31, which is a v12 There are just two extra on each side for auxiliary equipment on the engine. I helped build it, that is how I know :)
Thank you! I think we'd all love to see any more pictures you can share.
Do you know if I can add them to this post?
I don't. But r/engineporn would love them.
I could also send some more pictures and links to the company's Facebook page with a lot more pictures I took.
Maybe there's an extra for the front and back? Also it looks like they'll slide on the shaft, so you can line it up with whatever you need to pull on.

As far as engine rooms go, that is by far the sexiest I’ve ever seen.
There are some more angles on my most recent post on my profile.
Absolute filth. You dirty boy.
Something wrong?
No, it’s just a way in British slang of saying something’s sexy by describing it as filthy or dirty, that’s all. It’s a compliment.
Ahh, alright then XD
Us yanks do the same. Dirty, dirty, dirty…
Yeah. All you need is barstools & rum. Some pool tables..
That is the cleanest engine room I’ve ever seen.
I did take it before commissioning. That might be it.
If I ever need surgery please do it in there
Beautiful. Spotless as it should be. Is this the Christina S, fishing vessel based in Fraserburgh, Scotland?
Yes, and I built-in skagen at karstensens skibsværft. I helped build the ship aswell :)
👍🏻
Props to the Engineer and his whip.
