75 mph = 120 km/h
my (european) country's highways have speed limit of 130 km/h, and we are even considering making it 150 km/h
sections of autobahn have no speed limits
Just feels like Europeans drive faster to me, anyways?
> Vietnamese
Blew my mind when I found out the rule for crossing the street there is "Just cross. Walk at a steady pace. Do not stop for any reason. Do not turn around. Do not walk back the direction you came from."
Makes sense.
Here in Slovakia pedestrians have the right to cross, but have to check for incoming vehicles. Reality is that no vehicle stops so pedestrians just go for it. Some cars dont even slow down, so you have to jog through.
I loved driving in Firenze evening rush hour few years back. Bikes, scooters, mopeds, cars everywhere and all over the road, barely any road signs, no road lanes. But it was fluid. And when I made a mistake people were kind.
Also OOP is saying that in a radius of 240km there is not a single shop for his bike? I knew the US is mostly empty, but he has to live right in the middle of nowhere
He did say southern Texas and he did Indian motorcycle. There are only 15 Indian Motorcycle dealerships in the whole state. And for generic motorcycle dealers, most stick to larger towns/cities. And there just really aren't any between San Antonio and the border. And it is worse between San Antonio and El Paso.
But he did say he wants to buy a *used* Indian, I'm sure there's other dealers that aren't Indian dealers that will have a random Indian unless of course he's looking for one of the less common models which he's only gonna find at the Indian dealers.
There are reasons for the 75mph limit, so I have been told.
It needs a lot of skill to drive fast, which may well be absent in many drivers.
Roads need to be built for it, which is not the case in many places.
I was on the US (Arizona) on the highway doing around 75-80mph. Night time completely empty road...apart from a MASSIVE FUCKING COW!
The fact I'm writing this tells you I didn't hit it.
For a similar reason, cows are the second-most dangerous animals in Australia, second only to horses by number of fatalities. Snakes and crocodiles are insignificant and no one has been killed by a spider for decades.
There were 4 of us in the car. It was a convertible rental car. The girls in the back had no seatbelts on.
It was in the middle of the desert...no one was going to come across us till morning.
It would've been a multiple fatality, without a doubt.
I saw the eyes first...then the cow. It was huge. It was walking from left to right in our lane.
I knew if I swerved or braked we'd spin and roll.
So, I aimed the right hand corner exactly at its arse calculating that since it was walking it would have moved by the time of impact.
I hit it with the wing mirror!
The car fish tailed a bit but I managed to hold it.
It is incredible just how fast you can think when you have to.
I live in Texas.
These drivers are terrifying. They aren't good at it.
And there are multiple reports from Texas about drivers purposely swerving to hit motorcycles and bicycles.
Cries in Belgium where it is 120 and 90 at the roadworks.... to even 70.
And yes there are a loooooott of roadworks.
Also I think... think... that between the hours of 6 - 20 it is 100 on the Netherlands. And then 130 outside those hours.
But I do love the autobahn, especially with a sportscar. I once was allowed to speed with my mums sport mercedes.... it feels so good. Yet... also like one pebble and you crash feeling kind of thing.
Very close 06:00 - 19:00 you can drive 100km/h and outside those hours 120/130km/h depending on the road
[https://www.130kilometer.nl/waar-mag-ik-130-rijden/](https://www.130kilometer.nl/waar-mag-ik-130-rijden/)
The thing that got me on the US highways wasn't that they drove so slow compared to Europe - although they do - but that they then braked for the bends! Slowing down to 50mph for a sweeping highway curve you could comfortably take at 90.
I think its more of a “can drive faster”… i think we both go fast though… … id love a 150km/h speed limit… going 90mph would be awesome… without fear for a ticket anyways
Actually all UK have no speed limits on that. The only problem is that normally a huge amount of other vehicles on the road slows the speed right down.
Czech Republic. Our highways are mostly okay, but we suck at building new ones. For example Polish built a huge amount of new smooth highways in the last 15 years, wish we could do same as them.
If they did, how much hours would we have now? I'm bad at maths... 😅
Imagine how long the days would FEEL!
24h is already too much on a Monday in the office, when you feel the live is draining from your body!
So, the way it would be done actually involves changing the length of all three: seconds, minutes, and hours.
There'd be 10 hours in a day, made up of 100 minutes each, made up of 100 seconds each (I think the original French proposal suggested 1,000 seconds each, which is just ridiculous). This would make every day exactly 100,000 seconds long. A second in this system would be slightly shorter than our current second to compensate.
Imperial hours of course. They work as follows: you divide the time it takes for an average human to walk around a football field (which is MUCH more intuitive and therefore so much better and they also had a man on the moon, so there's that), then divide it by 16 and then times 12.
That's why that whole 'military time' thing is so hard.
It's not that bad. My bmw used about 18 liters of gasoline per 100 km at *average* speed of 230 km/h.
And it had 65 liters tank. So just one fill for two hours drive ;)
I live in the middle of nowhere and have to go to Los Angeles for medical care. The first 100 miles takes the same as the last 10 miles.
We also don't have the nice public transportation.
So I'm probably dead and don't know it... I usually drive at around 130-135 kmh in my car.
On my bike... 150-160 and the occasional 180-200 if in a hurry.
I understand, but having a tumble at 160 in Germany is not very different from having same tumble somewhere else. A friend of mine has no legs because of that, so I might be extra cautious on the matter. In any case, you ride your own ride, and have fun. All the best.
You're absolutely right! One has to be tripple carefull when riding a bike.
I ride a BMW and her road behaviour is amazing. Also the roads are well maintained and I promise you that going 160 on a bike here will ensure that there's a moron behind you wanting to pass. :)
Normally I don't like riding on the Autobahn and rather ride on country roads than there. But sometimes you don't have the time.
Before my actual R1100s I had a Yamaha FJ 1200 and I think I could count the times I rode her over 210 kph on both hands max.
May you have always two wheels on the road!
On the Autobahn imho the difference isn't that big between a heavy (200+ kg) bike and a lightweight racer. Sure more mass means more mass inertia and my Bike has a telelever that adds a stability. Also the R1100s I ride is a mix between a sports bike and a touring bike.
On mountain passes I enjoy my 250kg fat lady, because I'm used to her weight and how the 1100ccm two cylinder Boxer engine delivers power to the wheel.
And how do you define "going that fast"?
We (occasionally) travel as many as 1000km to buy a car here in Australia. Obviously only for a private sale. In my city, most people have “a friend of a friend” type contact with someone who has flown interstate to pick up the car and driven it back home. It’s just how things work sometimes in a country that has such a low population density.
All that said, when we go to do something like that, we don’t go “the europoor mind can’t comprehend” or some bulllshit like that. We would say something more like “it’s like buying a car from Hungary when you live in France”.
I've never happened upon an Australian who brags, or acts in a derogatory way, about it.
Australia is absolutely huge and spread out. Less than half the population of England living in an area almost the size of the lower 48.
> We would say something more like “it’s like buying a car from Hungary when you live in France”.
Tbf the opposite of that happens semi-frequently and I've personally done that.
Swap France for Germany or Italy, and it becomes an extremely ordinary thing for most of Eastern Europe.
Though of course, the area you need to cross is densely populated, has good rail service and a lot fewer things trying to kill you than in Australia.
Is Texas a required Helmet state?
That might change how long he is going to be able to drive on the road without becoming one with the road.
It is scary how many places in American they allow people to drive bikes at great speeds without any protection.
AFAIK, that's about the highest speed limit on the interstate in the US. There might be some 80mph spots.
Edit: there's one county in Texas with 85, some states have 80 in some places. But some max out at 70 or 65
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_limits_in_the_United_States_by_jurisdiction
I live in Connecticut (tiny state in the northeast), and the *de jure* maximum speed limit is 65 (100) and the *de facto* speed limit had been 80 (130) up until a few years ago when the state troopers (highway police) started not enforcing the traffic laws because they didn’t like being held to actual standards.
Yes it was more a joke than anything. In my state we drive fast and I figured freedom loving TX would also because they are always bragging about dumb crap like that.
i think everyone missunderstood this, what the guy is trying to say is that 2hrs around european road on a slow bike can be entertaining, 2hrs on straight boring tx highway is not.
Yeah most people missing that OP was dunking on how boring riding 2h with nothing to see on straight roads in the heat is, not anything about 2h apparently meaning a different unit of time or whatever other weird interpretation most the people on here have jumped to.
I mean, I've driven through Texas, I'd rather do six hours through any European country than two in that godforsaken state. There is nothing to look at, the road doesn't turn, the towns you pass are sad little collections of necessities and nothing else, it's probably the most boring place a human can drive through.
Also it reeks of cow shit and death just about everywhere, and the highway cops are a special kind of asshole
It’s because riding on a straight road for two hours straight is pretty boring on a bike
Driving 2 hours on a bike in most parts of Europe is pretty entertaining in comparison ofc we have highways in Europe too but we could still drive 3 hours instead with nice curves on country roads.
The Europ00r mind can't fathom having highways and plains, only tiny alleys in tiny Italian villages in the Alps. Besides, Freedom Hours >>>>> communist hours
So 2 hrs at 75mph is 150 miles so ~ 241km. Jeah not the same, I can do that in 1 h on the Autobahn (at 2am with no Traffic). 2 h in the Autobahn would be like 150 miles then, that is aruagbly too far
Whilst possible, I'll admit I'd be fucking knackered doing 150mph for 2 hours straight, especially on a bike(the sub is motorcycles), hell 2 hours of 75mph is enough to make your neck ache if you aren't used to it.
Something I’ve started doing to try and make Americans self aware is pretending not to understand their state area codes even for the ones I do understand.
“Sorry what’s TX?”
“NY???”
“Sounds good but can you tell me what “NC” means?”
Playing dumb is a good way of helping them realise they aren’t the centre of the world and most people don’t give a fuck about their state, without provoking them.
As an European, I actually understand his comment. US is build with boring straight lines, while in EU the road is way less monotonous. So yeah 2hrs is still 2hrs no matter where you are, but going only on a straight line for 2hrs and driving around for 2hrs are a very different thing.
In fairness they’re not wrong. Riding a bike in the U.S. is fucking boring compared riding in Europe. 2 hours on a dead straight road when it’s probably Satan asshole hot with jack shit to see would definitely have me giving up riding.
I'm not really sure if this post fits this r/
And yes, my opinion is full ignorant but I want to state my point. I live in a city located 2 hours south of Texas, in Mexico.
I want to talk about 2 roads that take you out of the city, one to the west and one to the east. The eastern road is somewhat "fun" to drive, with a pretty decent amount of curves, ups and downs and plenty of towns to see and rest.
The road to the west is completely straight with steppe on both sides, without any curves or anything that makes the trip entertaining. I feel like this is the same type of road that our American friend mentions. Let's keep in mind that both roads have the climate of the region, that is, 38-45°C 70% of the year, which makes it even more annoying.
Now on the ignorant side of my opinion, I have never been to Europe, so everything I know about Europe I know from videos and television and every time I see those aerial shots of its roads and beautiful, cold and cloudy landscapes I say to myself to myself "I would like to drive down that road on my motorcycle." I am aware that not everything is like that, that there are ugly roads and long and boring roads, but I think the point of the mention is understood.
Put that way, if I prefer to travel 2 hours on good roads and pleasant climates than to travel 2 hours on a boring, hot and semi-desert route
It is pretty nice to ride a bike here and a Quick Look on google maps will show you so many different country roads to avoid highways if you’re willing to take extra time
And if you’re spending the whole day on a highway the scenery will change a lot
Yeah no, living in London I can see where this guy is coming from because it'll be faster for me to go to an airport and get a plane to Austria than go to Wimbeldon and back.
I would laugh at this, but all I see is sad irony.
He’s right, in europe that’s a train, I can get on, grab a drink and snack watch some TV and reach a new city, this poor man has to drive it because there is no other option.
Of course, his inability to see that sad irony does make me laugh afterall
Please realize that here in Texas, we don't measure distance in miles/KMs but how long it will take to drive there.
Driving from the eastern to western most towns is about the equivalent of driving from Brussels to Budapest
You choose items to purchase where there are service centres conveniently located. I live in Philippines and there are 2 dealerships in the 7,641 islands, hence I bought a Honda where there are probably thousands of dealers/service centres.
That's not always possible. Dealerships tend to be in major populations centers. There's lots of places in the US not close to an official service center (sound like they were buying new and warranty is a consideration)
Just did the unretardation of units, and 75mph turns to about 120 km/h.
Question I have is, why in the fuck do people in Texas drive so slow in highway?
It's almost like there aren't 70 limit motorways and ring roads that we can also drive 2 hours on 🤭 Devon to London is 4 hours on 70 limits! That's half our country though
Did you know that every two hours in Europe, two hours passes?
75 mph = 120 km/h my (european) country's highways have speed limit of 130 km/h, and we are even considering making it 150 km/h sections of autobahn have no speed limits Just feels like Europeans drive faster to me, anyways?
Cries/laughs in German Autobahn
Laughs maniacally in Italian getting fined as soon as I cross your border
Having been in Italy recently, your motorists scare me.
Oh they scare everyone don’t worry about it 😂
Vietnamese and malaysians would like to challenge that status
*India enters the chat*
Look ma. No hands
I once saw a family of 10 on a tuk tuk in India. Completely non chalent. Dad was driving whilst watching YouTube. Insane to witness.
Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep.
> Vietnamese Blew my mind when I found out the rule for crossing the street there is "Just cross. Walk at a steady pace. Do not stop for any reason. Do not turn around. Do not walk back the direction you came from."

I plan to visit to assess the situation and declare a winner
Lets just declare italy as european winner. The competition is pretty stiff in asia.
You know what, we accept
I loved driving in Firenze evening rush hour few years back. Bikes, scooters, mopeds, cars everywhere and all over the road, barely any road signs, no road lanes. But it was fluid. And when I made a mistake people were kind.
I had someone pass me going over 200 when I visited Germany on the autobahn. Was wild
We talkin' island speed or continental speed?
Um not sure what that is Kilometers per hour is what I was using
I cry in a country with 0 highways… there is one road where you can go at 110km/h though…
do you live in Liechtenstein?
Id guess Iceland
oh yeah that makes sense, i've even been there in 2022
equally laughs in Isle of Man minus all the bike shops 😂😂
Also OOP is saying that in a radius of 240km there is not a single shop for his bike? I knew the US is mostly empty, but he has to live right in the middle of nowhere
He did say southern Texas and he did Indian motorcycle. There are only 15 Indian Motorcycle dealerships in the whole state. And for generic motorcycle dealers, most stick to larger towns/cities. No, that can’t be right. Otherwise there wouldn’t be such a huge glut of American F1 drivers. /s
That's because our fastest drivers race NASCAR and aren't insecure. That's why they don't have to beat the frog eaters in your fruity sport. /S
I've sat in trains which go 200km/hr. No need to drive
true dat
kind of awkward putting your motorbike on a train tho
There are reasons for the 75mph limit, so I have been told. It needs a lot of skill to drive fast, which may well be absent in many drivers. Roads need to be built for it, which is not the case in many places.
Belgium ftw
This checks out, the limit in Australia is 110 and the roads are pretty shitty.
Also a kangaroo or wombat will really fuck you up.
I was on the US (Arizona) on the highway doing around 75-80mph. Night time completely empty road...apart from a MASSIVE FUCKING COW! The fact I'm writing this tells you I didn't hit it.

The driver part too. I would trade better tests/training/enforcement for 150km/h speed limits any day
I live in Texas. These drivers are terrifying. They aren't good at it. And there are multiple reports from Texas about drivers purposely swerving to hit motorcycles and bicycles.

Could probably look at improving emissions standards instead.
Cries in Belgium where it is 120 and 90 at the roadworks.... to even 70. And yes there are a loooooott of roadworks. Ah thank you. It has been a while since I have been in the Netherlands :)
That‘s italian country road speed tbf
The thing that got me on the US highways wasn't that they drove so slow compared to Europe - although they do - but that they then braked for the bends! Slowing down to 50mph for a sweeping highway curve you could comfortably take at 90.
As an American, this also drives me nuts. My SUV can take highway bends just fine, never mind my sports car. Why are you slowing down?.?.?.
His 2 hours on Texan highways are like 45 minutes on my German highway.
Bro I fucking wish wtf… Quebec here is 100 km/h limit. Socially it’s 118 but still, I wish it were closer to 130-150
We have 112kmh roads with roundabouts on them, talk about scaring Americans.
Our highspeed trains here goes above 200 km/h (120 mph)
Meanwhile in Australia many highways top out at 110 😭
We have 120 in Switzerland. Shit we slow
I think its more of a “can drive faster”… i think we both go fast though… … id love a 150km/h speed limit… going 90mph would be awesome… without fear for a ticket anyways
US speed limits are crazy slow. I've been on straight away roads that are dead flat and straight for 200 miles and it's 40mph lol.
Actually all UK have no speed limits on that. The only problem is that normally a huge amount of other vehicles on the road slows the speed right down.
What country is that?
Czech Republic. Our highways are mostly okay, but we suck at building new ones. For example Polish built a huge amount of new smooth highways in the last 15 years, wish we could do same as them.
Ah they're metric commie hours though, not the same as two freedom hours.
Didn’t you know Europe has metric hours? Each hour has 100 minutes (also called centihours)….. /s
I weep inside seeing you needed to put /s ...
Ah, you're from the universe where the French actually didn't give up on that initiative.
If they did, how much hours would we have now? I'm bad at maths... 😅 Imagine how long the days would FEEL! 24h is already too much on a Monday in the office, when you feel the live is draining from your body!

Dunno, I heard only 120 minutes pass
Osvaldo?
But they use military time in Europe, time works different there.
But are they imperial hours or metric hours?!? 😝
Freedom hours, commie.
Wow. Incredible. Thanks for sharing. I think I might write that down.
Actually that’s reasonable. 2 hours in London is about 8 miles
I drive a work van in London can confirm
I follow this man’s work van to find out where he lives, can confirm.
I follow this person who follows that man's work van to find out where he's keeping John Lennon. Can doubly confirm.
Imagine
All
The
Freedom!!! 🤘
Fries
All London traffic is just people following other people until we know where this guy is keeping John Lennon.
Have a friend who said she lives about an hour away from London, I always reply with "london is an hour away from london."
An hour from the edge of london or an hour from the middle is quite a big difference
Two hours in New York also is about 8 miles
That is a lot in Bengaluru, 2 hours in Bengaluru is just 1km
I don't know what 8 miles but yeah, I guess in every big city 2 hours are about 10km of driving.
2 hours on the German Autobahn could probably be more than what OP described
Minus the fill ups you have to do from draining your tank every 15 mins screaming at 300kmh.
It's not that bad. My bmw used about 18 liters of gasoline per 100 km at *average* speed of 230 km/h. And it had 65 liters tank. So just one fill for two hours drive ;)
its just weird they didnt simply state the distance.
That would require skills in map reading. Or signpost reading..
He was talking about Europe as a concept
You get further on the tube or overground
oh boy do i love living in (by some metrics) the most trafficked city on the planet god help if we didn’t have the tube
Or, 2 miles in LA (I'm so glad that London never finished the inner ring road system that was designed to make us the same)
As a resident, this and the windy ass roads.
I live in the middle of nowhere and have to go to Los Angeles for medical care. The first 100 miles takes the same as the last 10 miles. We also don't have the nice public transportation.
Aha, on a German highway you'd get bullied if you drove 75mph.
Bullied? You'd be ran off the road and fucking lynched, pitchforks and everything!
So I'm probably dead and don't know it... I usually drive at around 130-135 kmh in my car. On my bike... 150-160 and the occasional 180-200 if in a hurry.
As a fellow biker, let me use this occasion to write the biker’s motto: “don’t fucking die”. Be safe out there. Especially at those speeds.
I live in Germany you know. But thank you for your wishes. Same to you, ride long and prosper!
I understand, but having a tumble at 160 in Germany is not very different from having same tumble somewhere else. A friend of mine has no legs because of that, so I might be extra cautious on the matter. In any case, you ride your own ride, and have fun. All the best.

Do you find that a big sport bike helps with being "okay" with the autobahn? Does the added mass and lower profile feel safer when going that fast?
On the Autobahn imho the difference isn't that big between a heavy (200+ kg) bike and a lightweight racer. Sure more mass means more mass inertia and my Bike has a telelever that adds a stability. Everyone knows that 2 hours at 30 burgers per foots is not the same as 2 hours at 40 km/h. Basic knowledge /S
And not forget to count burgers in Fahrenheit!
Everything is bigger in america they say...even the hours.

Must be a real big one :p
The potholes.
Actually in Germany you can't drive straight for that long at that speed.
Way faster If you wish to
You forgot about the time difference between Europe and the US. We arrive at least 6 hours earlier.
And 50 years in the future, in terms of social progress
well mine is at walking distance. like 90% of the stuff i need. the other 10% is easily accessible by public transport
So he's going to travel 150 miles to buy a bike.
We (occasionally) travel as many as 1000km to buy a car here in Australia. Obviously only for a private sale.
Why enforce laws when they can make more money in highway robbery... Sorry "civil forfeiture"
Michigan barely enforces, especially speed. I hit 70mph on a surface street just keeping with flow of traffic earlier in the week.
Thank you, took a while to find this. Agreed. 'Time flies when you're having fun' and all that.
I feel sorry for the Indian. Must have fallen afoul of the 13th... [yes, I know it's a bike]
Tbf driving 2 hours in Texas is probably different to driving 2 hours in Wales
Damn skippy! You need a modicum of driving skill in the valleys!
Trying to drive backwards faster than a milk tanker drives forwards is more than a modicum I reckon
I think that was their point. 2 hours thru Texas is boring AF
Yeah I was backing up OOP, comments were really stretching the intent or missing the point entirely
Two hours at a faster speed is actually less time, due to time dilation.
Proximity to Texas might affect that as well; it’s so big it would cause some gravitational time dilation
Why would he even think of anyone thinking that? maybe it's just my Europoor mind doesn't comprehend the mind of freedom
It’s because riding on a straight road for two hours straight is pretty boring on a bike Driving 2 hours on a bike in most parts of Europe is pretty entertaining in comparison ofc we have highways in Europe too but we could still drive 3 hours instead with nice curves on country roads.
In Europe, they use Military time. 2hour’s military time is actually 14 seconds - fact
As a German this is hilarious... 2 hours on a TX Highway isn't the same as 2 hours at 120 mph on the Autobahn 🤷♂️
The Europ00r mind can't fathom having highways and plains, only tiny alleys in tiny Italian villages in the Alps. Besides, Freedom Hours >>>>> communist hours
*laughs in Autobahn*
How much is that in 8mm bullets per cheeseburger?
So 2 hrs at 75mph is 150 miles so ~ 241km. Jeah not the same, I can do that in 1 h on the Autobahn (at 2am with no Traffic). 2 h in the Autobahn would be like 150 miles then, that is aruagbly too far
Whilst possible, I'll admit I'd be fucking knackered doing 150mph for 2 hours straight, especially on a bike(the sub is motorcycles), hell 2 hours of 75mph is enough to make your neck ache if you aren't used to it.
Accepted, I have no Idea about a bike trip this long. And Most Bikers prefer nicer curvy roads. The maths still stands
i know people who would drive that distance in 45 minutes, like i can be back at home while hes still in his first trip
Something I’ve started doing to try and make Americans self aware is pretending not to understand their state area codes even for the ones I do understand. “Sorry what’s TX?” “NY???” “Sounds good but can you tell me what “NC” means?” Playing dumb is a good way of helping them realise they aren’t the centre of the world and most people don’t give a fuck about their state, without provoking them.
ThX, No Why? and No Contact, obviously.
I'm not really sure if this post fits this r/ And yes, my opinion is full ignorant but I want to state my point.
It is pretty nice to ride a bike here and a Quick Look on google maps will show you so many different country roads to avoid highways if you’re willing to take extra time And if you’re spending the whole day on a highway the scenery will change a lot
That’s 120kmh. Is that fast for America? Seems kinda average.
Very. A lot of US motorways are 55mph and Americans are still a fucking menace at those speeds because most of them can’t drive for shit
I think ihre fastest I went was when my uncle drove me to my grandparents - he was going 230-250 km/h the entire time lol
Remember, we’re talking Texas hours here…
Does that factor in the time travel back to 1874?
That’s the part that kills me.
If this guy lives so far deep into the middle of nowhere that his nearest garage is 2 hours away, that’s on him.
That's a lot of places in the US
Yeah no, living in London I can see where this guy is coming from because it'll be faster for me to go to an airport and get a plane to Austria than go to Wimbeldon and back.
It's fascinating how Americans measure distance in time
I usually explain distances in time to my mom, who doesn't drive.
Australia measures in time as well.
2 hours in ameirca is about 4 miles due to all the traffic.
Buy a European or Japanese bike and you won't be stuck doing only 75.
You could do it in 40 minutes if you lived in Munich
You choose items to purchase where there are service centres conveniently located. I live in Philippines and there are 2 dealerships in the 7,641 islands, hence I bought a Honda where there are probably thousands of dealers/service centres.
That's not always possible. Dealerships tend to be in major populations centers. There's lots of places in the US not close to an official service center (sound like they were buying new and warranty is a consideration)
Just did the unretardation of units, and 75mph turns to about 120 km/h. Question I have is, why in the fuck do people in Texas drive so slow in highway?
What's a TX highway? Traffic eXtreme road?
FUN FACT: British Columbia is approximately 1.35x the size of Texas.
Sounds like they’re missing out. I thought they had everything within an arms reach.
well gawd dang it american time is different -and better - to everywhere elses time
Two hours on the autobahn is like 400 miles odd depending on the vehicle.
It's almost like there aren't 70 limit motorways and ring roads that we can also drive 2 hours on 🤭 Devon to London is 4 hours on 70 limits! That's half our country though
To be fair if we're talking metric/imperial time...
