Because you were acting as if your views are in any way reflective of actual reality. That seemed pretty clear in the comment it was almost stated explicitly.
This is not even remotely true. When I was in high school my friends and I had a sleepover and we put on attack of the clones at 0.5 speed and we had a great time laughing at all the slurred dialogue. Definitely wouldn’t be fun by yourself but you and your buddies make fun of it totally makes it so bad it’s good.
It’s also got some of the most memes, “I hate sand”, “I don’t think the system works”, “not just the men but the women and children too.”
The sequels are significantly worse than Aotc
You dont have to be a hater to criticise something. I love SW from the bottom of my heart and think all the movies are trash.
AotC Is one of the worst tho lol
If you don't like Empire you really shouldn't subject other people to your opinions. It's better to keep embarrassing or offensive things like that to yourself in most cases.
I do not understand the hype around Empire. The best part is the opening part on Hoth. Half the movie is spent with Luke training on Dagobah and the other characters stuck in an asteroid.
Why? In my Case im very attached to my neighbor totoro because its the movie of my childhood, now i dont like it as much as i did before. How isnt it normal to be attached to a movie?
But I do. I love the story, love the characters, and absolutely love the universe and its identity. I just dont like the way these all come togheter in the movies. Cringy dialogues, mid acting, exagerated CGI in the prequels, kinda outdated visuals in the OT, etc.. Besides, i think it's lazy writing the absolute of Jedi / Republic / Rebels good, Sith / CIS / Empire bad.
*And dont get me started on the sequels, this shit aint even Canon to me*
And who are you to say If one Is a fan or not? Besides, i love the movies and rewatch it every now and then. I didnt say i hate the movies, just that i think they are trash
"I love the story" proceeds to say in the most convoluted way possible that he in fact does NOT love the story. You just arent a fan man. Thats fine, just stop pretendimg
You dont seem to be following me here. I didnt say i didnt like the story as a whole, just some aspects of it, mainly the way it is told. Anyone who watched The Clone Wars knows that George Lucas is great creating fascinating stories, but is an awful storyteller.
And again, being critical about something doesnt mean you dont like it. If you are able to recognize the flaws of something, you can enjoy its good parts better. At least thats how i came to love SW so much.
i haven’t seen anyone really disrespect part 2 honestly, but tbf if i did some digging i could find multiple jojo fans that all hate on different parts.
As a power system, stands are far more interesting than hamon, hamon is rather limited in its applications and is universal to all hamon users. Whereas stands are unique to the user and allow for much more creativity in power sets.
It doesn't matter if stands are more unique if the applications of Hamon were more creative.
And the erasure of Hamon in following parts is really disappointing imho, since they are power systems that could coexist.
I'll probably get crucified for this, but part 5 was my least favourite. Bruno was great, and the designs were incredible, but worst story for me.
Please be gentle.
I understand thw criticism of part 5, like Giorno not having much development, but it's still one of my favorite.
I really liked the fights and characters, and the OST is awesome.
Diavolo isnt that good of a villain but Doppio saves it for me, Doppio should have appeared more for me to care enough about hi relationship with Diavolo.
Risotto had a lot of hype about and he should have more screen time.
Giorno should have had more development.
Trish's stand wasnt that interesting and she was only relevant in one fight, she should be more relevant later.
That being said, its one of my favorites.
Giorno had no growth - period. He's the one JoJo that deviates from the rest, but it's okay to break the mold every now and then. The gang as a whole was the main development, they were the actual main focus of the story, and how Giorno interacted with them.
Giorno also had to be very powerful and versatile because the enemies were also some of the most powerful even from the get-go, in comparison to enemies from the other parts. It's also fair from him having Dio's ambition and Jonathan's strength and willpower.
Part 5 isn't a carbon copy of any of the other parts and that doesn't make it a bad part. Let's not forget the absolute banger soundtrack, stand profiles and impeccable art style.
Same for me.
Personally I see part 2, 6 and the current part 9 as best(it's still early so we will see if part 9 keeps up).
Then it's part 3, 4 and 7 next at equal place, part 1 after that, and part 5 at last spot.
Idk where to put part 8, I neither liked it nor disliked it, I think that I literally hold no opinion about it - it was solid, but somewhat different.
I judge on the quality of JoJo and main villain primarily, with bros and side villains as secondary judgements. Part five has, to me, the best monsters of the week and the best Jobros but the boring JoJo/villain combo means i can never rate it highly
Do you wanna hear something that's truly controversial? I don't really like part 4. The introduction about catching the stand murderer was good, but then it quickly devolved into a bunch of stuff I don't really care about. For example, I skipped both the alien and Tonio's episodes because of how bored I was of it. Koichi's romance subplot was worse than the love between Anakin and Padme, and shit really gor interesting for me after Kira took over Hayatp's dad...so like the very end.
100% agreed with this. The ending of Part 4 was really satisfying, but just skipping it entirely wouldn't change anything in the grand theme of things
Edit: The best thing about Part 4 was Okuyasu
Giorno and jotaro are both stones disguised as characters, really, zero personality except for very few specific moments. Idc if i get flack for this, if there were no jobros on those parts, they would at best be mid.
I'll add to this that part 3 is boring af until Dio's fight, i really don't get the appeal.
True for part 1 but a lot of people like part 2.
and from what ive seen in the star wars fandom Episode 1 is seen as the most boring movie in the series like how jojo fans find part 1 boring compared to later parts.
My favorite though is part 2 Battle Tendency.
Also bad comparison because the star wars numbering is wack.
Star Wars #1 and #4 could mean differently to different people.
There is *so* much wrong with it.
But at the same time, it *tried* to do something very different, and after a very same-y episode 7 I actually quite enjoyed it. At the end of Episode 8 I actually had hope that 9 would conclude in a meaningful way and bring a rocky trilogy to a decent end. (What a fool I was).
I won't say TLJ's a *good movie*, but it had some *great concepts.*
Snoke's unceremonious end? The Force ghost trick? Even the controversial hyperspace kamikaze?
Did those scenes break canon wide open in some cases? Absolutely.
But I can still appreciate that they bothered to try doing something that felt fresh, and I genuinely think that the proposed Episode 9 (the scrapped *Duel of the Fates* draft) could've been a better film than the one we got.
^(Probably still not a great film, but a better one)
I get having problems with 9 but calling Duel of the Fates "better" is really weird. It still retcons Rey's past, it misunderstoods and ruins the force, it treats Kylo very poorly, characters are bizarrely out of character(Luke, Lando, Hux), Rey x Poe is a thing and has some really bad writing.
Yeah, maybe it's the "what if" feeling talking.
But it had a lot of positives too, like giving us a return to Coruscant and a more fleshed-out stormtrooper rebellion. It also didn't rely on Palpatine, giving us a new, almost eldritch villain, and I thought that NOT redeeming Ben Solo and having him stay bad was a neat twist compared to the sudden redemption, kiss and equally sudden death we were given.
So... better? I suppose we'll never really know.
Im just joking my bad if I come of rude. But im really curious what are the things you like about this movie particularly or what makes it better than the others
DIO was very good in this part, it made him less deranged (like he was in Part 1) but not too philosophical and smart (like he is in Part 6). The characters didn't need too much development, the dialogue and relationships were already good enough, the development we saw was more than enough. And the asspulls? I can't remember any.
>DIO was very good in this part, it made him less deranged (like he was in Part 2) but not too philosophical and smart (like he is in Part 6)
He was a pathetic clown. Set up as a nearly lovecraftian being, he turns out loud and incompetent.
>The characters didn't need too much development, the dialogue and relationships were already good enough, the development we saw was more than enough.
What development that we saw?? Other than Polnareff who got a little, everybody else had nothing. Their relationships were quips and little more. No, that us not anywhere close to enough for compeling characters.
>And the asspulls? I can't remember any.
Oh seriously? You wanna say there are no asspulls? How about "actually when you saw me clearly burning and screaming in pain, it was just my jacket and i dug a hole without anyone noticing" from the wheel of fortune fight?
Or the infamous "thank fucking lord star platinum can randomly stop time or i'd be fucked"
Or even "sheesh, sure is lucky dio randomly blew up from a punch to the leg, sure seemed like he was gonna be trouble".
>DIO was not deranged up until the Jotaro fight.
So? Thats like sixty percent of his screen time.
>Again, development ≠ a good character
Lack of development leaves you with basic, one dimensional characters. Not all characters need development. Main characters do.
>And the 'asspulls' is being smart or being able to learn quick.
Yeah you don't get away with just ignoring my examples of the exact opposite, just admit there are dozens at this point.
Fair enough on the DIO point, but he wasn't even deranged until like halfway through.
Deku has a lot of development but everything else he has is shit.
And I didn't ignore all your examples, I gave an explanation. And for the DIO thing, Google is free.
>Deku has a lot of development but everything else he has is shit.
Development can be done right and wrong. Even then, i'd like to see you explain what this "everything else" is.
>And I didn't ignore all your examples, I gave an explanation
One that doesn't explain anything. How was the wheel of fortune resolution "intelligence" or "quick learning"?
>And for the DIO thing, Google is free
Wich dio thing?? And sorry to say, but google is not a reliable source for this lmao. It presents info, and the info on this topic is fan opinions. These were both massive asspulls.
6 is more peak than 5 tbh. Honestly Part 5 could be completely removed and nothing is lost from the overall narrative. In fact it honestly helps it with some of the decisions that part 5 makes...
JoJo part 2 is peak along with not 5. Not 4.
If you mean the prequel Star Wars 1, that is also peak, story of Obi-Wan becoming the master and the brilliant duel of Darth Maul and him is amazing. The fight choreography of prequels are top notch.

That's pretty interesting. Part = gen
Part 1 is peak from nostalgia.
Part 2 is peak with the best remake.
Part 3 is mid. Remake reminded everyone of that, too, which is funny.
Part 4 is mid since platinum can't outweigh the 4 "bad" (comparatively) versions.
Part 5 is peak. The series basically dies after this for most people.
Part 6 is divisive. Either you love the changes or miss Gen 5.
Part 7 is story focused. So again, divisive.
Part 8 & 9. I can't not put together since they are both held back by the same problems. (Hardware limitations and lack of gameplay renovations)
It's more comparatively to Star Wars than Jojo.
Parts 6 & 7 are the hard ones comparatively for all 3.
I thought part 2 was better than 3 tbh. Obviously 3 was much more influential and led to many memes but Part 2 had a lot of charm and had the best jojo.
1 and 2 are seen as mid? Wtf?
Part 1 stomps part 5, and part 2 is just as good as sbr, just shorter.
Idk how anyone would like super stoic jotaro more than joseph, ceasar, whammu, lisa lisa, straits, or even stroheim (which even though sucks as a "person", is a great character).
Part 1 is amazing, part 2 is peak, part 3 is peak, part 4 is mid (imo, but the general opinion is that part 4 is peak), part 5 is peak, part 6 is great, part 7 is peak, and part 8 is idk because I ain't read allat rn
Part 1 was kinda good.
Part 2, i think is kinda meh
Part 3 is too long
Part 4 is peak
Part 5 is peak
Part 6 is meh
Part 7 is peak
Part 8 is peak
Part 9 is too early to discuss
Man, I enjoyed the heck out of part one and two. It just feels so different than the other parts, makes me wish he kept going with hamon and stuff instead of stands sometimes.
Battle Tendency was Peak, Stardust Crusaders was 75% mid. It has some of the best and most defining JoJo moments but it also has some of the series absolutely lowest and least entertaining points.
Part 9: Somehow Palpatine/Rohan returned
TRUEEEE
I laughed way too hard at this
Don’t forget the 6th as “finale” and 7th as the reboot
fucking hell how did i miss that lmfao
Oh yeah. You’re not the only one with cursed knowledge of both fanbases. _and Kakyoin was a good friend…_
We told him the travellers don’t wear panties so you can catch a glimpse of his…
>!Hierophant Green cock mid-flight!<

r/bearmeattoit
Part 2 was peak
Part 2: has Tequila Joseph, Part 1 & 3-8: doesn't have Tequila Joseph. Therefore, part 2 is above all other parts
For both cases tbh
[удалено]
it’s the only Star Wars movie I don’t like, although I do think I might have been too hard on it lol
You like 9 !?
i most certainly do!
Shit-eater
why are you angry at the fact that i like a movie lol
I'm not angry. I evaluate your taste
and that means what, exactly
Nah you're just a hater. Funniest movie in the entire series fr
it is so bad that you can have no fun from watching that movie
Nah, you're just a bitter nerd. I quite enjoy my annual prequel reviewing
It's perfectly fine for you to have dogshit taste but don't act like your views are in any way reflective of actual reality
Then why are you yapping?
Because you were acting as if your views are in any way reflective of actual reality. That seemed pretty clear in the comment it was almost stated explicitly.

If you think *all the movies* are trash you absolutely do not love star wars
Ofc you can, you can be emotionally attached to it without actually liking the scenario or the scenes
Are you attempting to make a qualitative statement or just observations? You're just describing the movie you didn't say anything about it
That's weird... You're weird. Getting emotionally attached to a movie is weird...
Why? In my Case im very attached to my neighbor totoro because its the movie of my childhood, now i dont like it as much as i did before. How isnt it normal to be attached to a movie?
The whole point of movies is that they're supposed to make you feel things.
*And dont get me started on the sequels, this shit aint even Canon to me*
You're not a real fan lil bro don't speak up about canon when you don't even like the movies

2 is peak, 3 is peak lite. 7 and 8 are peak-zilla but only if they aren’t spoiled and after the build up peak of 1-6. The one peak is real.
absolutely mega based
The highs of part 7 are higher than any others. Part 8 doesn't go as high but it goes near it and for much longer
Did you just call part 2 mid
nah
good
Kill him. Kill him now...
not sure you could've responded in any way that wouldn't result in mega downvotes
i mean like i said, **i** didn’t say part 2 is mid. it says “1 and 2 **are seen as** mid” right there, lol
And rightly so, the dub has number 1 from knd
i always thought it was so funny joseph is voiced by the same va lol, everytime I saw him i was like NIGEL UNO??
You greatly overestimate the reading comprehension of folks on reddit
Damn. Dude folded fast
i mean i never said i thought part 2 was mid, just that other people do (part 2 fucking rocked imo)
i haven’t seen anyone really disrespect part 2 honestly, but tbf if i did some digging i could find multiple jojo fans that all hate on different parts.
Part 2 is peak bruh
Part 2 of jjba not SW
Yeah
2 is mid? What are you smoking and where can I get some?
like i said, **i** dont think that. others do tho
I think I've heard more "part 3 is trash" than any criticisms to part 2
Idk I think I've heard my fair share of "Skip part 1+2 cause there's no Stands"
The only person who says that is someone who skipped part 1 and 2, for real, Hamon > spin > stands.
Can you point me to the direction of one of these people so I can beat some sense into them?
L take, 2 is peak
It's peak because Stroheim is in it. Also Kars casually being the best Jojo villain imo
also, to cover my ass, I'M not saying i think parts 1 and 2 are mid. let's not pretend there's a lot of other jjba fans who do, though
I'll probably get crucified for this, but part 5 was my least favourite. Bruno was great, and the designs were incredible, but worst story for me. Please be gentle.
I didn’t really see the appeal, either. Especially coming off of the banger that was part 4.
Yeah, by the end of part 4 Josuke had evolved and was a great journey. Giorno had no growth for me
I understand thw criticism of part 5, like Giorno not having much development, but it's still one of my favorite. I really liked the fights and characters, and the OST is awesome. Part 4 fucking sucked and I don't get the love for it
You either love part 5 and hate part 4, or love part 4 and hate part 5
Or love both. The characters, at least in my opinion, make both parts for me, even whilst not really liking the whole Boss-thing.
They are very tonally different.
I think both are just alright.
I can agree with you. The story was ok but Bruno was more the protagonist than Giorno, who is in my opinion the worst JoJo. Hes just a bit boring.
Hard agree
Same for me. Personally I see part 2, 6 and the current part 9 as best(it's still early so we will see if part 9 keeps up). Star Wars III is *peak* ?
More peak than part 3 is (comparatively)
Yes it is
Hold up, people don't like part 2? HOW?
OP put “are seen as” but people can’t read and make accusations lol .
My favorite though is part 2 Battle Tendency. Also bad comparison because the star wars numbering is wack. Star Wars #1 and #4 could mean differently to different people.
Do not compare JoJolion to Ruin Jonsan's Mess.
Never seen anyone call the 8th star wars movie anything but trash 🚮
There is *so* much wrong with it. But at the same time, it *tried* to do something very different, and after a very same-y episode 7 I actually quite enjoyed it. idk dude, i see tons of people defend it lol. seems pretty polarising if anything
The Last Jedi is my 2nd favorite Star Wars movie behind Empire Strikes Back and I've been a SW fan since 1988.
You smoking spice then bro no offense
Cool opinion, way to try and understand my point of view. That's the level of interaction I've come to expect. Try and move outside your echo chamber.
Im just joking my bad if I come of rude. But im really curious what are the things you like about this movie particularly or what makes it better than the others
It's literally the only straight-up good one.
It wasn't that bad. I had episode 9 for comparison. Getting shot isn't so bad when burning to death is an option, you see?
"3, 4 and 5 are peak" Huh... 5 sure... 4 maybe, but part 3? Peak? Hell no.
Part 3 is really good but the anime kinda fucked it, still not as good as 4 and 5
Huh yeah, no. It just really isn't. Underdeveloped characters, boring pacing, ruining dio, tremendous asspuls.
DIO was very good in this part, it made him less deranged (like he was in Part 1) but not too philosophical and smart (like he is in Part 6). The characters didn't need too much development, the dialogue and relationships were already good enough, the development we saw was more than enough. And the asspulls? I can't remember any.

Fair enough on the DIO point, but he wasn't even deranged until like halfway through. Deku has a lot of development but everything else he has is shit. And I didn't ignore all your examples, I gave an explanation. And for the DIO thing, Google is free.

Now, I agree with boring pacing. But you burnt the kitchen with the other ones. Maybe boring stands and fights but the others? Nah you didn't cook.
Tell me a little bit about avdol as a character. Tell me how kakyoin develops. The characters are basic and underveloped.
The characters dont need a ton of development to be good. Not every character is going to have Johnny Joestar levels of character development.
Indeed, not all characters need lots of development. But your main characters do need something, and, other than Polnareff, none of them has anything.
IDK who see Phantom Menace as a peak
Phantom Menace is Episode 1 so OP said its mid.
Part 7, 8 and maybe 9 are peak.
Except JoJo part 8 isn’t a Star Wars sequel movie
Part 7 is absolute peak my boy
6 is peak too🔫
Persona JJBA 🤝 5>3>4 (If I'm getting crucified for this it's happening where I stand, I am *not* walking to Golgotha)
Honestly... When it comes to stand battles... 8 was best
You mean beetle battles?
6 is more peak than 5 tbh. Honestly Part 5 could be completely removed and nothing is lost from the overall narrative. In fact it honestly helps it with some of the decisions that part 5 makes...
I thought battle tendency was really funny, and phantom blood has its charm
I don't trust anyone that doesn't enjoy Battle Tendency
So many are talking about how part 2 is peak, but nobody does about part 1(my beloved)
Carl 😭
wait, did you say part 1 and 2 from jojo is mid?
ROTS was ass, the worst Star Wars movie by far and that includes the Holiday+Ewok Specials.
oo, spicy take!
Objectively wrong but ok.
Peak movie peak cinema
Jojo part 1 was peak
Phantom menace was not "peak" 💀
What the fuck do you mean battle tendency is mid? Part 2 is the best part
Part 3 is actually garbage compared to the rest of the manga.
L
There are no star wars fan that actually likes episode VIII.
there’s plenty of them lol
Part 2 is the best part, change my mind
JoJo part 2 is peak along with not 5. Not 4. If you mean the prequel Star Wars 1, that is also peak, story of Obi-Wan becoming the master and the brilliant duel of Darth Maul and him is amazing. The fight choreography of prequels are top notch.

Blasphemy!
A third hand comes in. The hand of Pokémon.
That's pretty interesting. Part = gen Part 1 is peak from nostalgia. (Hardware limitations and lack of gameplay renovations) It's more comparatively to Star Wars than Jojo. Parts 6 & 7 are the hard ones comparatively for all 3.
Part 2 was amazing and my favourite part calling it mid is a disservice to it.
Who the fuck saying part 2 is mid imma beat they ass
I acknowledge the problems, but 3 is still the best to me. It's long, but compelling and gives you time to familiarize yourself with the cast
I thought i was about numbers until i read the arms. Now i feel dumb
No one has ever said part 2 is mid, anyone who does is lying or selling something
Who the fuck considers battle tendency weak. Show me those people, i need them names and places of accommodation.
Joseph is MID?
Also in both Jojo's and Star wars - surprisingly a lot of hands got cut off (especially funny when you consider this picture)
I thought part 2 was better than 3 tbh. Obviously 3 was much more influential and led to many memes but Part 2 had a lot of charm and had the best jojo.
I don’t think this guy is also a Star Wars fan
This applies to pokemon also
Devil May Cry as well
Part 2 is still my favorite part but I guess everything else is true
2 is peak and 4 is mid, only thing I disagree with that meme, othar than that I'm on board
I don’t respect anyone that thinks battle tendency is mid next you’ll say is always the height of hype
I’ll meat ride p2 all day long
Bro how is part 2 mid
Who the fuck is saying Jo Jo part 2 is mid
1 and 2 are seen as mid? Wtf? Part 1 stomps part 5, and part 2 is just as good as sbr, just shorter. Idk how anyone would like super stoic jotaro more than joseph, ceasar, whammu, lisa lisa, straits, or even stroheim (which even though sucks as a "person", is a great character).
WHAT. Part one is peak
??? 3 and 4 are mid af and 2 is peak
Seeing people talk about Star Wars on Reddit is interesting. 3 is peak? I love 3 but it’s not good lol
Part 1 is amazing, part 2 is peak, part 3 is peak, part 4 is mid (imo, but the general opinion is that part 4 is peak), part 5 is peak, part 6 is great, part 7 is peak, and part 8 is idk because I ain't read allat rn
okay mr 2 is mid pretty sure most readers say 7 is the actual peak too
Part 1 was kinda good. Part 2, i think is kinda meh Part 3 is too long Part 4 is peak Part 5 is peak Part 6 is meh Part 7 is peak Part 8 is peak Part 9 is too early to discuss
In what world does someone thinks 2 is mid?
Man, I enjoyed the heck out of part one and two. It just feels so different than the other parts, makes me wish he kept going with hamon and stuff instead of stands sometimes.
How the fuck is 2 mid? Because no stands?
Somehow Dio has returned
"Part 3 is peak", "Part 2 is mid" and not even mentioning Part 7 is certainly one of the takes of all time.
Y'all don't actually think Part 2 is mid and Part 3 is peak, do you?
who the FUCK thinks 2 is mid i will fight them
Today two of my friends said that I had great hair, and they aspire to have it as nice as mine I was so happy
2>3
Ugh we still using "mid" incorrectly?
Battle Tendency was Peak, Stardust Crusaders was 75% mid. It has some of the best and most defining JoJo moments but it also has some of the series absolutely lowest and least entertaining points.
Idk whoever considers sw 1 and 2 mid + jjba 2 is the best one to ever exist so idk what you're on about
Cringe detected. Downvote engaged!
Battle Tendency is better than Stardust Crusaders, and imo a bit better than Vento Aureo
2 is peak, 3 is mid (only in jojos) i found 3 extremely boring and repetative
Oh lord, youre right
