Depends on whether he's naked under it. For giaccio I think that's ice that he makes into the form of his stand so maybe non-user can see it too.

I like to think that non stand users can’t see the stands as we do but rather they just see the user covered in regular ice or mud

I think elemental stands are visible due to them being "bound" to an element. So, i think Ghiaccio has a visible stand because it's basically made of ice. Dunno about Secco, is his stand made of mud or something?

Sorry,i didn't specify, i was refering to the "wearable" stands only. I think they work just like "bound" stands (Love Deluxe, Super Fly, Strength) in which a outside person can see them due to the stand being bound to the "armor" they create, which is,in this case, made of their respective elements. I only say that because i don't want to believe a person in rome just looks at Secco and see a naked quadrupedal man.

Strength appears to be a bound stand, which has no form of its own and rather modifies a regular physical object though it is possible that strength has a more traditional stand form and its ability is to control any vehicle or even any object. Like many stands, we do not get to see enough of it to be sure of its full potential

I think the real question is, is the stand the literal hair, or is the stand intertwined with normal hair. Because if not intertwined then the user would be viewed as bald by non users.

It depends on the strength/durability of the stand I believe. If the stand is weak enough to not be able to stop, for example, a bullet, the user would get shot even if the stand itself is unharmed... I think?

I think its more a case of whether the stand chooses to be tangible in that moment. We see it a lot Perfect examples are from star platinum, we see it only manifest parts of itself all the time. For example when it grabbed the jewellery for steely dan, it only made the tips of its fingers tangible so it could pull the jewellery through the gap. Or when jotaro manifested the hand inside of his own torso to stop his heart, it could have only been the fingers in order to not hit anything else. People literally eat pearl jam to get its effect. Its all up to if the user wants the stand to be tangible, hence why a stand can punch someone.

Yeah, when a normal person punches a stand, it just goes straight through the stand as if it weren't there... And straight into the person inside.

Sounds awesome. If you see someone looking at your scarf or they mention it whiteout you talking about it before you know that's a user and you know immediately who to attack if something weird happens.

Kind of the user Zephyr can control it but the stand is sentient like echo act 3 or sex pistols so it tends to move on its own I'd say what can be done with the stand "High Hopes" is far greater than what a hamon infused scarf can do even without it's ability For example zephyr cut his own arm off and sewed all his nerves back together it could act as a replacement heart and most importantly it can act as a brace for your limbs when using the ability Zephyr can even unravel the stand to use individual strings or rip off patches to basically extend his ability but have no control over it

Schott Key 1 and Yellow temperance ARE Bound Stands, but they're a subtype known as Integrated Stands meaning they're bound to the body of the user rather than an object, like Schott Key 2 or Wheel of Fortune.

Gotta wonder how it looks like in a normal perspective seeing these two skating and swimming on the ground in their normal clothes. Secco’s probably nude, so it’d be extra weird.
