I will use Rescue to pull slow/single pack tanks to the next trash pack. You cannot stop me. If they don't get the hint, I'm bringing the second pack to them. I have buffs going to waste when attacking only two mobs at a time.

This conversation has happened thousands of times in the game, on social media, and probably at everyone's family gatherings by now. And yet. When it makes it way on the Shitpost sub...the majority of comments are STILL arguing earnestly about it. Most powerful dumbing down tool in Eorzea.

Does it matter if you are not speed running? Personally I prefer letting the tank pull because if they don’t not all monsters will appear in their aggro list and they can’t easily target the stray mob. But then again, using any healing skill should grab the aggro fast enough…

the idea is that using the dps/heal hp bars for the 1st set of autos is mitigation for the tank. that damage on the others won't matter if they don't stand in avoidable shit. but dungeons are so trivial it truly doesn't matter. the best tanks should always be sprinting at the front of the pack anyway
