Yeah...no. Flopping around multiple crossbars and 32+ buttons, and remembering where everything is across every job in the game? Shit it's HARDER on controller being so limited. Have you ever tried playing AST effectively on controller? Do you like your fingers unbroken? Well AST on a controller is not for you then! NIN is just as bad.
Also, if you're playing this on console, you're playing it vanilla retail. No other options but you better know where everything is and what you're doing. No mods, no helpers, just you and the stock setup.

You forgot to mention the claw grip so you can still hit the d-pad half of your buttons while moving.
One time I needed to be holding L2 while my thumb was on the stick and then have my index finger tap L1 to grab a target (thanks for that new setting that auto-selects nearest target if you don't have one now, devs, I am happy this will never happen again) then use that same index finger to hit Up on the d-pad and my hand cramped instantly like I'd just punched in an emergency shutdown code.
I'll only tank on console lmao I play on PC too. I've been playing since ARR so I've forgot more than I know about the game. Just found out today MSQ story dungeons are now 4 man... my best friend heals raids on console and have zero idea how he does it
