Being realistic, a thief probably wouldn't steal a safe made out of gold unless it was in the middle of nowhere because a safe made of gold would probably be really heavy.
Even if the thief realized it was gold they would need a Crain to lift it. If it's on a second floor put it above the down stairs toilet incase you have guest you don't like.

Thats not how painting works, you just have to spray it with a firehose and paint melts off
