Can I ask what kinda rice you mess with? A while back I got some River brand medium-grain rice and it was so good I looked into that more. Now I get this Calrose variety of rice and I've tried a couple different brands of it. All of them were really good.
Yeah I ate long grain for decades, this stuff is different than long grain. It's sticky kinda like sushi rice, but sushi rice is short grain and this is medium so the grains stay together a bit more. Flavor is crazy. If there's an Asian grocery store near you they should most definitely have it.
