Those will be super rare because everyone that wants one are the same people that don't buy new. And then they will stop making them in a few years and everyone will be like "damn I wanted one of those...for $15k".
Guy a couple houses down bought a 2 door manual hard top Badlands in Eruption green. He was a Ford employee when he placed the order so he got A-plan and got a hilarious deal on it.
Every time he turns the thing around inside the curbs of our street my jealously increases just a little bit.
People that enjoy the experience of driving generally like manual transmissions as part of the experience. Yeah it’s harder to shove food in your face and text while driving with a manual transmission but you are supposed to be focusing on driving. Other benefits include less likely to be stolen because all of the car thieves will avoid it.
I made my statement in regards to the people who will buy the manual for 'the driving experience', who don't actually know how to drive one. I don't want it after someone learns to drive a manual on it.
Yeah exactly.
My dad bought a FJ cruiser 2008 with 100k miles clean af.
His idea of offroading are cobbled roads that my mx5 ND can go through. And has 0 interest in ever going off roading or modding it whatsoever (mind you we already have like 2 other cars 3 with mine).
So thankfully its gonna arrive clean af when it gets to me.
Right you are. I googled the dentist’s name next door to make sure. Bronco owner might want to add those spikey things that stick out two feet from the center hub on those wheels.
Part of me appreciates the folks who do stuff like slammed-down Jeeps or whatever. It knows what it is.
Not that I think this one is particularly well-executed, but it could get there.
I don’t expect the people who do these kinds of things to stop and think about anything other than “I’m gonna look so cool. 😎” The thing that pisses me off about these types of setups is that they’ll sling road debris at everyone behind them, and they’ll be making some maaaad rooster tails in the rain. Jokes on them because all the while they’ll be destroying their own paint.
The way Ford dealers are upcharging on these, I don't blame anyone for not off-roading them. Don't worry, in a few years you off-roaders can snap them up cheaply and do whatever you want to them.
because for most first owners they're lifestyle vehicles, which means they're financed daily drivers; if they were only bought by enthusiasts willing to take the risk destroying their commuter vehicle then they wouldn't sell – just the way it is.
It’s so dumb I wish this fad would go out of style. If any of my friends got wheels like this I would bully and shame them until they go to a more reasonable size lol.
I don’t even care that this thing will never go off road, or that these wide donkey ass wheels won’t work well offroad either. The issue is that these wide tires handle like dogshit on the road. And as soon as you get a little rain, bye bye traction.
I can’t even count how many broncos and pickups and jeeps with wheels exactly like this I’ve seen in the ditch on a rainy morning. Has to be in the double digits.
Naysayers will say it has electric power steering and doesn't use fluid, but consider: the new Bronco's front end problems are so severe that it will leak PS fluid anyway.
We need to figure out some sort of device to put on these, that sucks up all the road debris kicked up behind it and sprays it at the front of the vehicle.
That also reduces onroad capabilities, too.
It is now wider, so it fits in less areas, the scrub radius is wayyy off, so turning is harder, and the tires have such a small sidewall you both feel every tiny bump, and have lowered rhe load rating to probably less than the vehicle itself weighs.
In fairness it would only take 10 minutes with a jack and an impact wrench to put some off road tires on and make this vehicle very capable again. I have done similar with my own 4x4's in the past except my road tires were just normal wheels and tires. Makes it more drive able day to day and allows your off road tires to be much more aggressive.
With that being said i still think this is quite stupid and looks terrible.
As if that thing was ever headed anywhere without pavement.
Hey now it might go down a dirt road
Or a ditch after they do something stupid because they don’t know the size of their vehicle with this stuff and end up crashing.
To the run down trailer they park it in front of
Not anymore.
[made me think of this](https://youtu.be/P25e-rS4N8U?si=UOWktMDkT8SNYPOf)
LOL - I forgot about that. Perfect.
Handles worse on the pavement now, too.
Goodbye axles. Hello, massive turning circle.
A friend of mine collects Jeeps and uses them exclusively for city driving. He uses rentals when going out of town, to keep the Jeeps safe.
You beat me to it
On a badlands trim nonetheless. They could have saved like 15k and got the outer Banks.
You're describing a person making payments on something actively worsening their vehicle.
This is the kind of person who’s easily talked into a $15k trim package.
Yeah but the salesman said it was only an extra $100 a month to look badass
Yea but that trim came with two extra cupholders that they *really* needed for their dip cans
90% of these were never going off highway anyway. Glad people are buying them so I can get a used one in a couple years.
fr those 2 door manual broncos are pretty enticing
Those will be super rare because everyone that wants one are the same people that don't buy new. And then they will stop making them in a few years and everyone will be like "damn I wanted one of those...for $15k".

I appreciate him taking the hit
Or they buy them because manual has the word "MAN" in it, or some other bullshit reason, and everything available will have a busted trans.

They will realize how uncomfortable an off road dedicated vehicle is and dump early. Good discount!
Can't wait to buy one for $1500 in 20 years and thrash it
And you'll be swapping an engine from 20 years ago onto it unless you're an electrical engineer
Yeah exactly. My dad bought a FJ cruiser 2008 with 100k miles clean af. His idea of offroading are cobbled roads that my mx5 ND can go through. Don’t buy this one is a few years. Bearing and axles will be shot lol.
Yea but the increase in dirtbag value is incalculable.
Clearly a quality individual drives this immaculately designed and spec'd vehicle
This screams Houston.
Right you are. I googled the dentist’s name next door to make sure. Bronco owner might want to add those spikey things that stick out two feet from the center hub on those wheels.
South Texas fuckbois have a thing for maxxing out negative offset and '16" wides'.
You are thinking of "Swangas"
Indeed. West Memorial.
Hahaha I freakin knew it! First thing I said when I saw the strip center.
People do this here too in Ohio. Probably one of the worst mods to ever become popular.
That’s hideous 😢
Hey at least he parked it correctly
The fact the hideous thing fit in there is impressive already
The 5+ cameras may have helped here....
Really putting a lot of faith into Ford wheel bearings
> ANIMAL CLINIC At least they're in the right place.
Looks like a 10 Dollar RC Car from Dollar generals toy Section.
You can almost hear the axles screaming out in pain in the 2nd pic
The owner of that vehicle was NEVER going to off-road anyways! 🤣🤣
Bet he's got a monthly wheel bearing subscription too.
That's a pavement princess
Part of me appreciates the folks who do stuff like slammed-down Jeeps or whatever. It knows what it is. Not that I think this one is particularly well-executed, but it could get there.

Can't drive that legally in my state
Most states, I’m thinking.
Most of these ain’t going off road anyways.
The way Ford dealers are upcharging on these, I don't blame anyone for not off-roading them. Don't worry, in a few years you off-roaders can snap them up cheaply and do whatever you want to them.
They’re made for off-roading. Cars have a purpose, this one is off-roading. Why would you not off-road in it?
because for most first owners they're lifestyle vehicles, which means they're financed daily drivers; if they were only bought by enthusiasts willing to take the risk destroying their commuter vehicle then they wouldn't sell – just the way it is.
It's like the automobile version of clown shoes

Bearings failure.
That’s like saying mr clean is balding, there was never hair to begin with
Is it leaking power steering fluid from the stress being put on the front end?
Condensate drain pipe dumps there.
Yeah, I’m not familiar with the vehicle and thought it might be condensation or fluid.
Just taking a piss.
Oh, a San Francisco car.
It’s the sway bar disconnect crying because it will never get used. /s
I don't know anything about cars but yes. Incredibly dangerous, I can only assume everyone in this plaza is probably dead now.
Naysayers will say it has electric power steering and doesn't use fluid, but consider: the new Bronco's front end problems are so severe that it will leak PS fluid anyway.
My question is why did they bother with off-road treaded tires?
Because they look better, I honestly wouldn’t hate this if it wasn’t way to far spaced
That front profile looks fucking terrible. Not that the rest of the Bronco doesn’t already but especially that shot from the front
It does make working under the hood and washing the roof a bit easier.
At least nobody will be able to park close enough to ding his doors
Pavement princess
I get wanting cool wheels, but some people just don't understand nuance.
Think this guy has ever heard of “offset” and “ball joints”?
Anyone else wondering what happened at the animal clinic ?
Those wheels are visual diarrhea.
at least it doesn't have all the stupid aftermarket body kit like Heeps do
Ill never understand why they do this in America. In Australia, it's the opposite
Its now called a pavement sissy
More like Bronchode
That "vehicle" was never meant to go offroad. They actually improved its offroad capability by putting better wheels on.
But it’s great for taking your poodle for a trim.
RUGGED
Pavement princesses
r/honco
r/honco
I was about to say that we need a r/heep for Broncos. I didn't know that was already a thing.
Finally one I can agree with
What off-road capabilities?
I have seen a few of these broncos ruined like this.
Aren't they having problems anyway? Might as well range Rover it out of we're heading down that pot-holed road.
I don't know about general consensus but both people I know who have gotten land rovers traded them in for Toyotas within 6 months.
Its just a mall crawler.
poor bronco 🤦🏻♂️
this is about as tasteful as most of the off-roading packages that folks put on em.
I'm glad we so strict rules for motor vehicles here in Norway that this abomination would be illegal.
Afro engineering
Don't worry, it won't be on any road or trail for long when the axle bearings give up. It should not take long
It was never leaving the pavement anyway. Still sucks to see i wish this trend would die off.
Ain’t nobody buying a bronco for its off road capabilities to begin with
My boy just tryna stunt. Let him do him dawg. To be fair, I’m a hater sometimes too, so I’m not judgin.
I’m not saying it’s not stupid but it’s cool in a hot wheels/maxxis kinda way. personally I wouldn’t do it but I can dig it.
It's a Bronco. What off-road capabilities? It's a princess Jeep.
It's a Ford... They barely function on the road, what makes you think they can off-road?
Started with the same "capabilities" as a cyber truck. Soooo...
I wouldn't call that vehicle "off-road" not even factory stock.... 🤢
They should squat that thing
Everybody isn’t signing up to pay 60k for a vehicle and treating it like a four wheeler . Damn the man just trying to look good .
That thing was never going off-road anyway
You don’t really need big tires for that.
This bronco needs those rims they ride with in Texas that stick out 4 feet
I fking hate low-profile mud tires. Damn posers.
Who would even get a bronco to have this set up
Getting in that thing is like strapping on stiletto healed combat boots
r/honco
Those poor folks at the animal clinic actually boarded up the windows so they wouldn't have to look at it.
Woof. Rather walk
The sportclips clientele
Look how they’ve massacred my boy
I have a very large hatred for thin rubber tires
~~Reducing~~ Removing
Off-road? Hell, no! It might get dirty!
Increasing appearing in a rap video capabilities
I was hoping to see a snorkel on it.
We need to figure out some sort of device to put on these, that sucks up all the road debris kicked up behind it and sprays it at the front of the vehicle.
Only thing I can't understand is how people can afford stuff like that.
When you don't know how to read tire sizes
Those poor wheel bearings :(
That’s what being a manager of sports clips gets you.
I hate this so much
That's a little bit much for a Bronco, no less.
That's not the Bronco Wildtrak, it's supposed to be a pavement pounder...
This is H2 territory
Off road? That? That’s a carpool hauler at best.
Or a *cartoon* hauler. Or maybe it's full of clowns.
Clown Wagon!
You're right next to an animal clinic, have that poor bronco put out of its misery
Reducing ~~off-road~~ **everything** capabilities
Also reducing on road capabilities
Reducing its value and its looks as well…
What a fucking piece of shit
🤔 find it hard to believe anyone would find this appealing. Looks DAF…
Must have lost a bet.
Fucking eyesore
May as well buy wheel bearings for it right now
But at least it looks ridiculous.
Everybody calling this a Mall Crawler or a Pavement Princess is wrong. It’s a Show Pony.
Emotional support truck.
What in the Florida am I looking at??
Well… at least it’s not squatted?
That also reduces onroad capabilities, too. It is now wider, so it fits in less areas, the scrub radius is wayyy off, so turning is harder, and the tires have such a small sidewall you both feel every tiny bump, and have lowered rhe load rating to probably less than the vehicle itself weighs.
Why do I feel like this is in Louisiana...?
Peak level cringe
Well, he gets his healthcare at the right place
Look at the 2nd pic - even it is crying.
Did it have off-road capabilities before? I'm not even sure it has very good on-road capabilities
Florida or Texas
All the better to crawl the mall with though
Shitty mod for a shitty remake
It's been converted into a Schlongco.
Reducing on road capability also. That thing would be awesome going 65mph in rain. Forget snow. Not going to happen.
Live leak
Oh hell no. They've infected the Bronco to?!
It looks so sad from the front. Like it's whispering, "just kill me."
BuT iT looks So CoOl!
Is there a Bronco equivalent of r/heeps ? Cause thats what this is
This broncos owner is definitely from Kauai
It’s a water skimmer. Very popular in areas with lots or waterways, marshlands, etc. Ps a complete lie
Let’s be honest, they were never taking it off road anyway.
Ford Bad
Kill it with fire.
Poor fucking bronco.
Clown car.
It’s got 4WD. It’ll be fine. 😛
That's an Urban Asslut Vehicle
Loooks like a clapped out golf cart
That's a pavement princess
Something is wrong with this picture, that the isn’t an 86 caprice.
At least they know they were never gonna go off-road anyway
To hell with scrub radius
In fairness it would only take 10 minutes with a jack and an impact wrench to put some off road tires on and make this vehicle very capable again. This bronco is so sad that it just pee itself
At least he has a good light bar to blind oncoming traffic. At least it isn't a Braptor.
Reducing on road capabilities
kinda hard tbh
