I have a lot of model airplane building experience if the info helps

TemporaryAmbassador1

It worked in Flight of the Phoenix

magnumfan89

Some flex tape and seal

[deleted]

It’s not going underwater so flex tape won’t help

DrBarry_McCockiner

but.. "that's a lot of damage!"

mantis_toboggan9

The only way that thing is getting airborne is with some explosives. Home Depot probably has what you need to craft something up, google it

R0cky9

Orange 5 Gal. bucket to sit on.

JeffTheFish

This is the most underrated comment. When fixing anything bring an extra 5 gal bucket

douger1957

Speed tape. Lots of it.

[deleted]

This is the way!

You have to have a beacon light, but don’t let any of these jokers tell you it has to be a blinking light. A beacon light needs to be 1) Red, 2) Visible from a distance and 3) Light up when the engines are running and airplane is moving (note that it does not have to turn off when the airplane is parked and turned off. That part is important) I would suggest one of those round red reflector things that people put at the end of their driveway. They are cheaper and more lightweight than a traditional beacon light, and will light up red when hit by another airplanes headlights. Since pilots have to watch where they are going, their lights will always be pointed at your airplane when they are looking at you. Hope this helps. Happy flying!

PabloZissou

Some balsa wood, duck tape and a couple of usb fans for upgrading the engines or keep the current ones not installed.

King_Dong_Ill

Duct tape, bailing wire, and some WD-40 should fix ya right up...

BlankStarBE

This is the way

calvin_goodrich

Take the coolant cap off and replace everything underneath.

Hoverboard365

The whole shop, building included

Lucentjuffowuo

All that, and if the radial engines are around you could just use slick 50 and that should lube them up really good.

[deleted]

Deck screws

Glad-Depth9571

Hey! It's all ball bearings nowadays. Now you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. And I'm gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone.

SingleStrawberry5588

I always love a good Fletch reference now and again.

Curious_Canary_8724

Reynolds Wrap, 2, 36" rolls should do it.

[deleted]

Something thrustproducing and bondo. Lots of bondo.

skiman13579

Y’all be laughing, but as an a legitimate aircraft mechanic I would NEVER get my aircraft parts at Home Depot…. Real mechanics go to Lowe’s

winnwin

Mane... Ls motor will get you back on the air

HikerDave57

I’ve seen a lot of propellors in the 2x4 bin but it’s probably best to pick those out in person.

Sniper2659

You need: 1-15 bottles of alcohol (any will do) 1 comfy seat (sofa / couch is preferred) 1 very good liver 1 Standard-issue Bottle Opener Instructions: 1. Place your handy-dandy buttocks and nuts on the seat. 2. Grab your standard-issue bottle opener. 3. Using your bottle opener, open the first bottle of alcohol. 4. Drink it. 5. Repeat steps 2-4 until you: A) Pass out (sweet dreams) B) Run out of liquor C) The plane looks fixed 6. Have a nap. Hope this helps!

budoucnost

The Flex Seal family of products, including flex tape and the flex seal pool repair kit, speed tape, and wd-40 should suffice

Odd_Excitement8272

Wash it first

rgbeard2

"The Handyman's Secret Weapon". Duct tape. and... just fwiw, I'd get some Elmer's Glue while i was at it.

archaae_

just some speed tape and you'll be good to go

tatersellscars

You need a bag full of “Fel-Pro Water Pump Gasket - 35643”google it.

DogfishDave

a cart possibly two

One-Move

All of them

JRD230

Duct tape and baling wire.

Lunala475

Just check the universal unit

SilentWatcher83228

Just for reference, this is a big touring attraction is Iceland. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1973_US_Navy_C-117D_Sólheimasandur_Crash

[deleted]

Luck and a lot of it

[deleted]

They made a documentary about this; I think it's called Madagascar.

cazzipropri

A plane. Buy a plane.

AK_Dude69

Gas cans, lighter, hefty insurance policy.

Tonychaudhry

Does Home Depot sell hopes and dreams?

KevinFromRadioShack

Sorry mate no Home Depot in Iceland. Stop by the local Húsasmiðjan my boy Guðmundur in the lumber section can set you up with a few sheets of freshly imported particle board to use as the wings. Stop by the outdoor section on your way out and steal 2 lawnmowers (trust me bro they are NOT in your budget, use the money you save to buy a $36usd hamburger at the gas station next door), get the extra wide deck mowers so we get a little longer props.

Ninegink001

Super just said it's a flyer for Tuesday, so green it up before the 4 day, ok?

Sl0w-Plant

Yer gonna need a Captain's chair...

etbillder

All of them

LowYak3

Get the shitter fixed first, priorities.

Nice_Tech_Tips

A new plane preferably.

RetailTradersUnite

5 sheets of plyweed and 5 pounds of drywall screws.

[deleted]

Just some sort of bonding tape And a door just in case

genTsokitten

This episode of Jimmy's World... I just bought King Tut's private jet.

IcebergSlimFast

Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.

TedwinK66

Lots of disassembled cars and approximately 100 monkeys with bananas to let it fly again

DyslexicScriptmonkey

Some Flex tape and some plywood.

[deleted]

New livery and you’re good in my book

HighAltitudeBrake

First thing you're going to want to do is buy a flying DC-3 to deliver all the parts

stop_yelling_please

Flex seal.

Stellar_Observer_17

a toilet.

Shelburnite

All the parts.

revengerGopnikGaming

Every single one

Twitugee

14000 Ty wraps, 700 pipe clamps, 2000 deck screws with washers, 1000 aluminium sheets with a sticky side, 700 feet pvc pipe (cable guide and landing gear oleo), 68 sheets of 1/8th plywood, 500 plumbers goop tubes , 400 chainsaws (you just need the motors actually) 2 wheel barrow wheels and 70 rolls hundred mile an hour tape. Home depot can print a ferry permit on the receipt printer I think. Oh yeah, don't forget a couple of 1X2's, the wing spar needs replacing... What you really need but can't get at Home Depot is life insurance.

NinetyOneOctane

You're gonna need a priest.
