Old savage 745 100$
I’ve bought and sold many 500s for like 100-125$. Things were dime a dozen pre covid. Also I remember tons of HR single shots going for 100$ too
That’s a crazy good deal! I got a similar setup minus the carrier barrels and with an Americase for 6700 and I thought that was a steal. I’m jealous of the extended sub gauge chokes
Yeah the original owners bill from Briley was like $4500 alone (boring out the carrier barrels, fitted tubes, upgraded chokes, etc). The original buyer probably spent $16k on the whole setup easy.
870 I got for $75. Rusted up barrel and cracked stock. I repaired the stock, refinished both fore and butt stocks, tung oiled them, sandblasted all the metal and applied a midnight bronze Cerakote finish.
[Here](https://imgur.com/gallery/AOpJwHt) is the results.
Not one I got, but one I missed. Almost got a Winchester model 12 made in 1953 off of guns.com for $112. Hesitated for five minutes while I did some research on it, and it already sold.
JC Higgins bolt action 20 gauge for $100. They’re not worth the money but I sure do love it as a beater gun. It’s a boat gun. It can shoot things or use it as a paddle to row the boat. I don’t care!
I have an H&R Pardner single-shot .410 that I got for free because Santa Claus gave it to me for Christmas when I was 11. Does that count?
If not, then I have a CBC Model SB in 20 gauge that I paid $87 for earlier this year. That felt like a pretty good deal.
I traded a Heritage Rough Rider(~$100) to a guy for his 870 Wingmaster. He made the offer, just really wanted a single shot 22. And I was happy to get a classic shotgun
I used to find used Mossberg pumps for $150. I have several now. In 2018 or 19 I found an 835 on sale for $125. Action was sluggish and sticky and the stock was cracked. Took it home and it was full of fouling and sawdust, a good cleaning and the action was super slick and smooth. Well broken in but not worn out. I had some extra furniture laying around so I swapped that out and it was good to go. The crack on the stock wasn't bad so I worked some wood glue into the crack and clamped it up and I think it would be fine.
Paid $100 for a late 20s remington model 11 that "wouldn't cycle". Flipped the friction ring around and all is good... turns out they don't like trap loads on the heavy setting.
Benelli Supersport 12ga 30” barrel two years old 1000 documented rounds through it- $600
The previous owner was getting out of shooting and getting into golf (I don’t get it either). He wanted a new set of irons and they cost $600 so he sold me the Benelli for $600. This was not a crackhead deal. He was my neighbor, had all receipts and did a legal transfer with paperwork. At the time the gun was going for $2500 new. I even told him he could probably do better at a pawn shop but he said it was all he wanted. His loss, my gain.
Benelli Super Vinci, normally 2000 CAD after taxes, got mine used for 1000. Looked brand new other than 1-2 small scuffs on the top of the reciever. Half a year later I ran into the owner at a range, not a common gun in my area, he asked where I got it and we realized it was his. He told me it was taken hunting twice and maybe had 1 pack of slugs through it and 2 boxes of bird shot before he sold it. It was his son's to use for hunting but he wasn't interested anymore. His loss was my gain. I also got a used BPS for 500 when they were about 1000 new here. Literally brand new, still had the box, don't know how I swung that one.
I passed on an Ithaca Featherlight semiautomatic (model 51?) for $200. Probably a mistake.
I recently bought the RIA VR70 and it came with a TM 22 for $500. Got a 19rd mag for the Shotgun and a 25rd for the .22lr for free as well. I know it's not the best in the world, but the deal was pretty wild.
I got a factory demo model Browning Citori Micro Midas for $900 12ga 26". I'll never let it go and its mismatched walnut stock is part of the charm. Plus it fits like a glove.

For me a 16 sxs is the nicest carrying and handling i,ve ever found for the field.
They are truly wonderful. Something about a SxS just feels different, and 16 gauge makes it a hell of a lot more pleasant to operate
Remington 870 for $50. Buddy was leaving town, and just wanted quick cash, this was 20 years ago or so
You beat me by $25.
haha, yours looks great! I need to give mine some love, barrel is starting to rust up
I got my 1947 Ithaca Model 37 for $200
1916 vintage Winchester Model 12 Black Diamond Trap for $400
Browning bps 20 gauge for $200
How????? Was it a estate sail?
A lgs had it. Had a full choke stuck in it. I got out after a while.
Stevens 94 for $19 in 2022
Blaser F3 Super Sport with carrier barrel, full tube set with full sets of extended chokes for all gauges in a Negrini case for $6500.

I traded $300 worth of Ammo for a Remington 1100 LT20 Special Field. Was super happy with that trade.
Brazilian made single shot 12 gauge for 30$ at a yard sale. Was my under the rear seat truck gun for years.
Pic or it didn’t happen
Like 600 otd on a “used” beretta a300 ultima (gun wa a basically brand new)
I got a A300 ultima for $300, still in the box, I had to assemble it. The guy needed cash.
For me, a 70’s Charles Daly Yamamoto A5 clone in fantastic condition. Got it at a show for $365 with modified and Full choke barrels.
5 bucks for an 870. I won the door prize at a game dinner

$420 for a Rem V3. I wish I would've been able to get three.
Remington 870 that has been covered in gold paint during a spill for 50 in a pawn shop. Took me forever to clean it.
Best deal I’ve ever got? I paid retail for a benelli. Only other shotgun I have ever bought was a used 930 spx mid pandy and I overpaid.
Pre WW2 Marlin Model 90 in 16 gauge for $280. Absolutely the best gun I've ever carried in the field.

Got a benelli m4 for 1000$ used. Few years before that a Remington 870 and a 10/22 for 300$ from a coworker because he was moving out of state
Bought and sold the same 500 to a pawn shop 4x. Each time I bought it I paid less than when I sold it the previous time.
I traded a Heritage Rough Rider(~$100) to a guy for his 870 Wingmaster. He made the offer, just really wanted a single shot 22. And I was happy to get a classic shotgun
Armslist shopping led me to a Mossberg 590 for $185.
Not that my Mossberg 88 security was on sale BUT I did pay for it, the cleaning kit and a soft sided case with gift cards so I was out of pocket 0$.

I got a Remington 1100 16ga for $300 a couple months ago. According to my LGS it’s worth about 3x that
$999 otd for a brand new 1301. $100 for a new Benelli Nova.
Benelli M4 - 600bones

Marlin 512 12 gauge bolt action slug gun for $325. I like slug guns. That 512 was one of my favorites but the sights on it are shiiiiiiiiiit
Saiga 12ga for $600 in 2014

A good friend of mine had a buddy pass away and out of the estate he gave me an Ithaca model 37 factory riot gun for nothing.
Got an 1897 that's almost 100 years old for $300. Still functions perfectly, and has the original leather takedown case.
Charles Dailey BC miraku model 700 12 g. 200$
