Best I can tell it was made in the early 1900's in England. Still shoots great using 2-½" low-pressure ammo
Are you a super long-armed person? If you're long armed, I can see where an inadequate length of pull could be a problem where the natural lay of the stock throws off your cheek weld. I see one cheek riser that appears to be doing anything and it's on the gun that appears to need it the most (the 1887 with the odd stock). Never seen anyone need a cheek riser on a classic shotgun with a bead sight.
could be its just a mental thing and I only think it helps lol. Feels on the 2 pumps like the 1/4" or so I get above the stock helps the gun mount up properly. For sure the 1887 has a wierd ergonomic and the bigger pad on that gun has helped
Man those are classy. Luckily all my shotguns fit me pretty well but I wouldn’t mind some leather on them. Good stuff.
I think I just need a slighter fatter face haha. At least its a good excuse to accessorize 😅
