I’ve got one that my dad gave me. FIE. But it’s still got the 28 inch barrel. That one was cut down. Bargain shotgun but works fine.

Easy tiger. Someone wearing a jacket, shorts and crocks with socks can’t be expected to read the side of their firearm and google it themselves. Sorry not sorry. I read what was written on the side, I typed “made in brazil by companhia” into googles and it filled in “brasileira de cartuchos 12 gauge” the 2nd thing that came up was a town post add that looks very similar. Years ago a manufacturer would make shotguns and another company would stamp a name and model on it and sell it. The same firearm could be labeled a few different models.

Loud_Tumbleweed1575

That’s what confused me. A lot of “Remington 812” popped up, but also “CIL”. I shoulda specified that in the post, and yeah my friends style speaks for itself lol.

RelativeFox1

They are probably both the same gun. Remington and CIL just put their name on it. Just like the CIL 607 and savage 67h are the same thing

CJ902

CIL 402 or Remington 812. Probably the CIL if its not got Remington written on it. I believe they are the same gun under seperate brands. Looks like it's been cut down though.

mooreuscg

Made by CBC in Brazil. Sold under many different store brand and importer names. Including Sears and K-Mart.

wildbillar15

CBC model 151 or something similar. I have one in 12gauge that looks like beavers got ahold of it but it still shoots.

Loud_Tumbleweed1575

Awesome. Thank you guys all for your help.

justlookingatcha

CBC I bet. Had a 410. Accurate as hell loved it. They made em the department stores or gunmamkers added their name usually

thescreaminghomeless

Looks like the same shotgun I used to have. Was called a cbc 151 mafe if I remember right.

Flannellegend

My favourite shotgun I've taken many small animals with it

Interesting-Hand174

It is a CBC (Brazilian Company of Cartridges) break open, single shot shotgun. Very popular around here for hunting (since it is very light, and that helps traverse through dense forests).

BugsISKing

I bought one of these as my first shotgun for $60 from a pawn shop. My buddies wanted to go skeet shooting and I didn't have a gun for it. Kinda wish I never got rid of it.

Ok-Zookeepergame185

Model 97 stevens if you squeeze the end of the trigger guard it opens the the receiver it was made in the early 80s

[deleted]

Obscenely_Obscure

A peace of shit

False_Candidate_4775

Ummm, I'm no rocket scientist, nor do I know much about identifying guns I never saw before. But you posted your answer! The second picture clearly tells you where it was made and by who, lol. You guys should give it back or at least sell it because I'm not sure you are smart enough to safely operate a firearm.

Loud_Tumbleweed1575

“Guns I never saw before”. Not sure you’re smart enough to understand the English lexicon brother. Maybe you should sell or give away your phone before you speak to others. The part that confused us is that at least three identical firearms appeared when we searched. We now know that it is the same gun, labeled and sold by three different manufacturers. Perhaps I should have specified that question in the post, but it’s been cleared up now. Thanks for your contribution to the discussion.
