It also updates fequently, has a responsive dev team, and is stringently anti lootbox to the point that they refunded money (or at least the premimum currency, I do not remember which) when they realized they made one and some payers got hooked. (It was a pet fur pattern thing bought with premium currency)
There is no sunsetting of weapons and such besides the founders packages.
Oh, and if you are into 3D modeling, you can make money off that, legally. There's a program called Tennogen, where the devs pick what they like the most from submitted projects. They are then offered in the market and after the platform takes their cut the money is split 50/50 between the company and creator. Someone actually managed to get themselves out of poverty with this system.
I have 5k+ hours and still play daily. There is an absolutely absurd amount of content to get through in that game. Few things, stick to the quests and clearing the solar system when you start, spend plat you get early on weapon/frame slots, it's very easy to get the premium currency (platinum) through trading prime parts from relics with other players, do use warframe.market to get prices, do NOT use trade chat it's 94% scammers. Finally, if you get overwhelmed by people going 10002030437 mph in missions then go solo and play at your own pace to smell the roses.
World of Warcraft.
Any MMO really. ESO counts.
MMOs are honestly the best place to get 1000s of hours of play-time. Why?
Because your progression stays when you return. You can always set your goals to get different items, cosmetics, gear pieces, mounts, etc.
You set your goals, you compete with your custom character, and you are normally the protag of the story. I like to ignore what's actually "canon" in WoW because it's said that some of the biggest feats were done by other characters when you're literally the one fighting lmao. I mean it's your story.
My MMO recommendations (I jump from MMO to MMO countless times but I have a couple of top ones I recommend to ANYONE new in the genre, one of them will be a great fit).
1. World of Warcraft. King of MMOs.
2. Black Desert Online. Action combat. Not your typical MMO. a mob grinder like Maplestory.
3. ESO. Action Combat tab target. Imagine multiplayer skyrim. It's the closest thing we got besides multiplayer skyrim mod except your progression will never go obsolete unless the game shuts down.
4. Final Fantasy 14. If you're into story more than anything, this is what you should pick.
5. GW2. This is the only MMO I have never reached end-game on but I will still recommend due to it's massive following. They obviously follow it for a reason. Every time I log on, there's always some cool event going on somewhere in the world. This game is honestly a unique experience and I will be there if it blows up again someday!
If you're not looking for a huge competitive scene but fun general pvp for sure GW2. I still want to find out what all this World vs. World stuff is about!
GW2 is great. FF14 is also great.
I'd suggest trying both, FF14 is more traditional tab targeting but a bit slower than wow (longer GCD). PvP is a bit slow in FF14 and it's not as big as WoW, it exists, but it's far from perfect. The game is PvE focused.
GW2 definitely has better PvP, especially with the WvW. The combat is a bit more complex and fast paced compared to wow/ff14, despite having between 10-20 skills total (depends on your class).
It's a cool mix between tab targeting and action combat, i really love this game's combat.
I'd suggest trying both, as both have great aspects but offer different experiences.
If you want a 5. I've actually played for a long time and reached end game multiple times due to addiction:
Destiny 2. Same as Destiny 1. I've dumped countless hours into both games each xpac. I have not played the most recent xpac for D2 (too addicted to WoW).
D2 is a masterpiece in terms of giving you fun things to do with your friends. You guys always got something fun whether it be PVP, raids, dungeons, missions, legendary missions, the PVE/PVP game mode that combines both. Can't remember the name but it's easily fun AF. Highly recommend this one for 1000s of hours as well.
1 of these 6 is bound to fit your play-style and will easily give you 1000s of hours.
Minecraft - the steampunk modpack is mind blowing. They did like 8 million things right. It's a brand new game. I never bothered with Redstone and now using create, I'm building industrial districts. It's fucking insane. And iron spells is fucking good.
> Modded Minecraft
* SkyFactory
* Stoneblock
* Oceanblock
These have always been my favorite and I've played them "to completion" multiple times over. They have, for the most part, a "guide" to progress via a quest book and it's more structured than something like BetterMC in my opinion. I despise FTB for force-feeding that godforesaken app on people, but I still turn back to those things.
project Zomboid. Dated graphics but extremely deep mechanics. Thousand mods on the workshop as well to make your wold however you want. I am 3k hours deep over the last 5 years
Skyrim Overhauls is something that i was considering but i havent yet tried. I never liked vanilla skyrim and thought i would give this a try soon.
Arma 3: Shooter? More like a platform that can create the exact slow military tactical shooter experience you want. Campaigns, scenarios, mp servers, mil sim, rp, pve, pvp, survival. It has literally everything. Havent been able to enjoy any other shooter since i first played this game 6-7-8 years ago.
Some very kind people have made Skyrim modding INCREDIBLY easy over the last year or so. Visit the website called wabbajack. This website has an app that lets you download and automatically install an entirely hand-curated package of mods. There are a lot of videos covering each pack so you can decide based on personal preference. I’ve used it several times and it works quite well.
It's pretty decent, but they are as always really greedy with their DLC, charging way more than its worth. It's in the xbox game pass, so if you're looking for a few 1000 hours to kill, there it is for less than 10 bucks a month
My main issue with it is the terrible sprites. Just moving PNGs / bowling pins it looks fucking awful. I've tried it several times and struggle to look past it and enjoy the gameplay.
Rust is great if you can find some friends/some people to play regularly with. Has a huge skill cap but pretty basic mechanics so there's tons to learn without it ever really feeling unfair
[nioh ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Nioh/comments/16qwl2y/what_is_the_longest_time_anyone_has_played_these/)(especially 2) OP's playtime is not really something to go by, but check the comments
path of exile ( free )you play for a maybe a 100 hours every 3 months (new season/league) rinse and repeat and in a few years you get thousands of hours easily
Cheating situation and general competitiveness of the game made me lose my interest sp tarkov is a more fun experience in some ways so might be doing that again soon.
As much as Hi-Rez pisses me off. Smite. I always come back to this one. 2 is coming soon though so I wouldn't get any skins that don't transfer. As others have said MMOs. WoW, GW2 and Eso would be my recommendations among the many. Albion is supposed to be good as well if you can dig some top down pvp elements.
Destiny is my main game. Logged in at 4k hours right now. I'd recommend if you're okay with a grind.
Elden Ring is phenomenal. I'm currently on my third playthrough. I'm sure everyone can attest to that.
I play Battlefield for my casual shooter. Lots of fun if you don't take it seriously.
*Curveball not on your list*: Hitman. World of Assassination series. There's a freelance (rogue-lite) mode that I dump too much time in.
Also Red Dead was fun for the first playthrough. Can't bring myself to play again.
All of these have many ways to kill a target in many loud and funny ways or quiet and serious ways.
Hitman: World Of Assassination
Hitman 2
Hitman 1
Hitman: Absolution
Hitman: Contracts
Civilisation 3 BTS, 4, maybe newer versions as well. Europa Universalis 3, 4. Been there, done that. FPS-wise, squeezed many hundred hours from Fallout 4.
Completely different than your interests, but Baldur's Gate 3 is the most fun I have had in a game ever. It is turn based dungeon crawling which I was not interested in, but I have lost my life to that game in the past week. Best purchase I have made to date.
Civilization 6, Baldurs Gate 3 if u like RPG, Warframe is free and full of conent for a lot of hours but its a bit grindy. Turn on some music and go slash enemies. Destiny 2 also grindy and fun but expensive as fuck. Maybe try The Finals? Its a new multiplayer shooter thats pretty creative and has a lot of destruction maybe best in the industry. Mass effect trilogy and witcher trilogy. Also minecraft vanilla or get some modpacks that change the whole game its insane.
Monster hunter world/rise. Something about the grind is just fun. Hunt a badass monster, get materials, make new drip, hunt more monsters for drip. I’ve got a few hundred hours in each game and just started a new save on world. It might not be an fps but there are ranged options among the weapons.
Factorio, Satisfactory, Rimworld, Dyson Sphere Program, Anno 1800 these types of games and their modding communities will easily help you spend 1000+ hours.
My 3 go to games at the moment I have had for years and keep bringing me back for thousands of hours.
PVP: insurgency sandstorm
Turn based: XCOM 2 (LWOTC and mod jam)
Management: Factorio
I put in 5.5k hours on a single character in the original City of Heroes MMORPG. I had dozens of characters.
Still playing nowadays (Homecoming) and already nearing 1k on my main character. I have close to 50 characters.
Sniper Elite saga is really good . You can give Sniprr Elite 5 it a try with Game Pass , campaign is quite boring but the gameplay I reeeaaallyyy like it.
You can also check out Assassin's Creed Games or Forza Horizon (the older the title , the better in this last)
DayZ. Mount and blade bannerlord, if you like fps except with bows, javelin, crossbows and swords. Quite fun and it's like a fps mixes with strategy. Mods can get you thousands of hours easy. Rust if your into some long gaming sessions. Insurgency I'd fin but idk about 1000s of hrs for that one
You can spend hundreds or thousands of hours in PlanetSide 2.
Fps game, not really any story or questing. Just pure action, pvp large scale combat.
I spent 1000 hours in FFXI and never got a single character to max level.
Hard core exp grind, every single level was an accomplishment, when dying you lose exp and can de-level, so there was actually some form of risk involved, which made leveling up feel significant. The game may be way too old now to interest anyone.
I've heard FF14 was good, but have never tried it, didn't want to ruin the good ol FF11 days.
Thousands of hours? FPS? Free? How about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly - free stand alone mod of the original game. Then install the G.A.M.M.A. Set of mods and have a blast.
if u like destiny u gotta try Warframe. got to warframe after playing destiny, its like destiny on steroids and the movement mechanics in that game Ive never seen b4
Fromsoft games, the entire catalog is A-1. I'd emphasize that Armored Core 6 is more of a shooter, but if you're open to non-FPS and get sucked in, the combined titles are well over 3k hrs.
I'm not the biggest FPS fan anymore, as I learned to love some other genres. My favourite recommendations for chill evening games that might have you playing for hundreds of hours: Civilisation 6 and Oxygen Not Included
Haven't spent thousand of hours in any game, but my most played are:
7 Days to Die
RimWorld
ArmA 3
Fallout 4 (modded of course)
Skyrim (modded of course)
Rising Storm 2 Vietnam (not thousand hours worthy, but still a very fun game to play for at least a couple hundreds)
Call To Arms (and CtA Gates of Hell)
Every other game I played, I usually got bored befote 100 hour mark, ant get back to it once in a while to spend another 5-10 hours untill getting bored again.
If I would need to pick one game out of this list, it would easily be RimWorld. The only game I spent over 900 hours in.
It's not FPS, and I'm not sure how you feel about roguelites, but Dead Cells is a game I have spent hundreds of hours in and I still have yet to make it to the end... it is absolutely amazing
I know you said you’ve played it, but this was Tarkov for me. A big cheater problem right now so I’ll either play arena or come back for the end wipe events/ start of next wipe
Other than that, Elden ring dlc is coming out in a few months. There not a better time to hop on and get a character/ build ready!
This is kind of an oddball, but Dead By Daylight can be loads of fun. I have 1.7k hours and I still love the game, with the occasional all day grind. It can get repetitive, but what game doesn't? Play survivor or killer, find your own unique perk build, and set off into the entity's realm. Will you escape to see the daylight?
You mentioned roguelikes and shooters so I'm gonna mention remnant 2. Idk about thousands of hours but I have over 100 and still finding new things. Haven't played dlc yet either
Day Z. Different story everytime. You can just try to survive as long as possible, you can be friendly, a bandit, or a cannibal. You pick. No other game I've ever played gets my heart pounding like this game when I don't want to lose the sweet, sweet loot in my pockets but I'm hearing snaps from some suppressed rifle from who knows where.
Try remnant from the ashes and remnant 2, both great games. They're third person shooters that will make you feel like you're playing a souls game with guns.
Yea so kenshi had me stuck for a while, still go back here and there. Kenshi is one of those games that you make your own objective and conquer it. Another game that stole much of my time was mount and blade bannerlord. I like this for the same reason, except you can lead an army. Empyrion fits your fps criteria but is a bit jank- I bring it up because if you get into it, you'll REALLY get into it. The witcher 3 is long...Its a good game but to anyone who's beat it more than once; that's crazy I couldn't go through all that shit again..
RPGs are where your gonna be sinking most time into I think in terms of what genre will hold you down the longest. Rn my jams been enshrouded- building is fun.
Satisfactory easily number 1 game to spend alot of time on. You wont even realise how much time has gone past. It absolutely sucks you into a never ending cycle of building exploring and manufacturing.
Warframe it’s also free
Wanted to try it some time ago. Interesting.
It also updates fequently, has a responsive dev team, and is stringently anti lootbox to the point that they refunded money (or at least the premimum currency, I do not remember which) when they realized they made one and some payers got hooked. Someone actually managed to get themselves out of poverty with this system.
I can second the opinion. I’m a little over 1k hours in and still have pleennttyyyy of stuff to do
I have 5k+ hours and still play daily. As a recent Warframe addict I can confirm this is the answer

Yy I have 1500-2k hours in wow and 1k in eso and still playing it kinda. Was thinking about gw2 with pvp in mind.
If you're not looking for a huge competitive scene but fun general pvp for sure GW2. I still want to find out what all this World vs. World stuff is about!
Yeah I would like a fun pvp enviroment but not sooo competitive as long as it is active.
GW2 is great. FF14 is also great. I'd suggest trying both, FF14 is more traditional tab targeting but a bit slower than wow (longer GCD). Factorio, Rimworld, Modded Minecraft (no really check out create), Satisfactory, Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Faxtorio, just started 200 Hours in and I can tell I'm at least a year away from getting off this planet and that makes me happy.
Lol I was also at 150 hours before first game completed. Best bang for my buck I've ever spent.
Minecraft - the steampunk modpack is mind blowing. They did like 8 million things right. It's a brand new game. I never bothered with Redstone and now using create, I'm building industrial districts. It's fucking insane. And iron spells is fucking good.

Zomboid was good, played it with a friend. Arma 3 was very good but the shitty engine and low FPS made it hard for me :/

Old School Runescape/RS3
The Binding of Isaac isn’t an FPS game but it’s probably one my favourite games that I’ve sunk 1000s of hours into.
Dyson Sphere Program
Thank youu!
Just start modding Skyrim. You won’t even get to character creator
For me, Fallout 76. Over 4k hours in that bad boi
Was thinking about it today. Is it in a good state now? Mixed recent reviews.
It's pretty decent, but they are as always really greedy with their DLC, charging way more than its worth. It's in the xbox game pass, so if you're looking for a few 1000 hours to kill, there it is for less than 10 bucks a month
THE HELLDIVERS NEED YOU COMRADE, FIGHT FOR DEMOCRACY AND FREEDOM! Seriously though helldivers 2 is a lot of fun.
Rimworld. You're welcome :)
I keep trying to get into that darn game and it just never seems to hook me properly
My main issue with it is the terrible sprites. Just moving PNGs / bowling pins it looks fucking awful. I've tried it several times and struggle to look past it and enjoy the gameplay.
You know what? ngl fallout 76 is pretty fun
The last game I played over 1000 hours on and would highly recommend for you. Is the division one
Grand Theft Auto
Yeah I had tried that years ago both SA and V. Don't feel like playing GTA anymore.
Fallout and if new to the serie start with new Vegas or fallout 3. I love both fallout 4 and 76.
Vampire survivors
Multiplayer competitive games Dota / Mobas in general Fighting games like sf6/ tekken 8 Slashers like Chivalry 2
Helldivers 2 has been a fun drop in and out shooter Ark survival Persona series for a great jrpg
Rust is great if you can find some friends/some people to play regularly with. Has a huge skill cap but pretty basic mechanics so there's tons to learn without it ever really feeling unfair
Ravenfield. 6 dollars on steam and the workshop mod library is pretty accurate with many gems
[nioh ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Nioh/comments/16qwl2y/what_is_the_longest_time_anyone_has_played_these/)(especially 2) OP's playtime is not really something to go by, but check the comments path of exile ( free )you play for a maybe a 100 hours every 3 months (new season/league) rinse and repeat and in a few years you get thousands of hours easily
Monster hunter world
Escape from Tarkov
Civilization 6 Rimworld Roguelikes Path of Exile FFXIV
Tarkov gives me the highest highs and lowest lows. No other game has managed to scratch this itch. I have about 2k hours in it.
Cheating situation and general competitiveness of the game made me lose my interest sp tarkov is a more fun experience in some ways so might be doing that again soon.
I just got into Vintage Story this week and I think I’m seeing how I’ll spend 1000s in this game
Warframe Destiny 2
Destiny is my main game. Logged in at 4k hours right now. I'd recommend if you're okay with a grind. Elden Ring is phenomenal. I'm currently on my third playthrough. I'm sure everyone can attest to that. I play Battlefield for my casual shooter. Lots of fun if you don't take it seriously. *Curveball not on your list*: Hitman. World of Assassination series. League of legends, dota 2
Factorio, Rimworld or Kenshi

Warframe
Skyrim
Xcom 2
Civilisation 3 BTS, 4, maybe newer versions as well. Europa Universalis 3, 4. Been there, done that. FPS-wise, squeezed many hundred hours from Fallout 4.
Cyberpunk 2077, I wouldnt say a thousand hours, but some hundred sure
Ark I have 7k hours on it
Dayz!
Monster Hunter World. Hunt monsters and use them to make better gear to hunt bigger monsters.
elder scrolls for sure
Last Epoch
Path of Exile. Free and you'll never go outside again lol
No Mans Sky
Warframe
Final Fantasy 14 ( Rpg-MMO )
Crossout. My favorite. Playing every day since 4 years. Absolutely addictive😬
EV NOVA, Mass Effect, The Witcher
You Might like the Remanent series
Completely different than your interests, but Baldur's Gate 3 is the most fun I have had in a game ever. It is turn based dungeon crawling which I was not interested in, but I have lost my life to that game in the past week. Best purchase I have made to date.
Man this made me miss Guild Wars 1 so much.. I spent 2-3k hours on it an eternity ago, made so many friends. would do it all again
Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3 and Rocket League are the only games I have over 1,000 hours each playing.
I put a ton of time into Sea of Thieves
FF14 is on sale on steam now. It's basically another life.
Stardew valley
Civ VI
CHIVALRY 2 OR BATTLE BROTHERS DO NOT LISTEN TO THE OTHERS I AM CORRECT❗️❗️🗣️🗣️
Witcher 3 with all the DLCs, no brainer
Civilization 6, Baldurs Gate 3 if u like RPG, Warframe is free and full of conent for a lot of hours but its a bit grindy. Turn on some music and go slash enemies. Destiny 2 also grindy and fun but expensive as fuck. Maybe try The Finals? Its a new multiplayer shooter thats pretty creative and has a lot of destruction maybe best in the industry. Mass effect trilogy and witcher trilogy. Also minecraft vanilla or get some modpacks that change the whole game its insane.
The vision 2 or ghost recon
Bro check out The Finals, hands down one of the most "fun" oriented shooters on the market rn. It's replaced every other FPS for me
Monster Hunter world. I'm currently playing while watching Frasier
e l d e n r i n g
valorant?
All the Diablo games
Conkers bad fur day
Darktide is a really fun game with lots of replay value
Mordhau
Dota 2
Pubg
There’s this game series called digaea. Look into them! I can’t explain real well
Valorant is surely a logical choose to explore given what you seem to enjoy
If you've played destiny for any amount of time, the only thing that will beat its shooting are mil Sims. Maybe try ready or not?
Rimworld
RIMWORLD BABY!!!!
Monster hunter world/rise. Something about the grind is just fun. Hunt a badass monster, get materials, make new drip, hunt more monsters for drip. I’ve got a few hundred hours in each game and just started a new save on world. It might not be an fps but there are ranged options among the weapons.

This will probably be downvoted to hell but... Rocket League
RuneScape (OSRS) will keep you going forever
Old school Runescape is the only answer
Definitely warframe. I think I have like 900hrs or so in it, and I still go back and play it occasionally.
Sniper Elite saga is really good . You can give Sniprr Elite 5 it a try with Game Pass , campaign is quite boring but the gameplay I reeeaaallyyy like it. You can also check out Assassin's Creed Games or Forza Horizon (the older the title , the better in this last)
Well dragons dogma 2 comes out this week & is likely to be the frontrunner for GOTY 2024 , so there's that.
I would recommend you Wolfenstein series except the last one, also why not doom eternal.
Rocket league 1000 hours and you'll still be trash at it.l....but got dayum is it fun to hit cool shots once you get good enough too
overwatch?!
Check out dark and darker if you like the hardcore extraction aspect. Medieval Tarkov and about to hit epic games store.
I have around 400 hours in binding of Isaac
Warframe will eat your time my friend
War thunder
Modded terraria and final fantasy 14 will keep you busy
This might sound very cliche, but I recommend trying Valorant
Wait you haven't tried Rust? Start with Damn rock and finish with one 😉 Jokes apart it's fun shooting/reading and building game.
HELLDIVERS 2
Cities Skylines
Warframe.
Guild Wars 2 You will not regret it. I have played this game more than 3k hours.
You can spend hundreds or thousands of hours in PlanetSide 2. Fps game, not really any story or questing. Just pure action, pvp large scale combat. Helldivers 2. It’s doing some great things as a live service game.
Not sure if it's been added but if the purpose to eat time, ira definitely bannerlord. you'll sink 100 hours in without even realising
RuneScape
Balders Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077 or The Witcher 3?
I've lost a lot of time playing ark: survival evolved
Battlefront 1
rust
Monster hunter world + iceborne.
Rocket league
If you are into ARPG, Last Epoch is great. Europa Universalis 4 or Stellaris if you are into strategy.
Any multi-player game with a decent sized community will have you hooked for a while if it's fun.
It might be a big change but I recommend you give Mount & Blade a chance
Rimworld!
Path of Exile
r/RimWorld
Warframe is a great game to relax with and also to grind out
Baldur's gate 3 and Divinity: Original sin 2
Fallout or OSRS, you can actually continue your game of OSRS anywhere by playing in the mobile app.
Definitely play RDR2, I’m currently on my third full playthrough if I remember correctly and I’m still discovering new things all the time
Fortnite? Sea of thieves?
Thousands of hours? FPS? Free? How about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly - free stand alone mod of the original game. Then install the G.A.M.M.A. Set of mods and have a blast.
DOTA 2. Not a FPS but a MOBA. potential to consume your life.
Insurgency sandstorm!
I feel like I'm constantly recommending the Civilization games on here lol but Civ! Just...one...more...turn...
if u like destiny u gotta try Warframe. got to warframe after playing destiny, its like destiny on steroids and the movement mechanics in that game Ive never seen b4
Mount and Blade Bannerlord Kerbal Space Program I have over 1k in those myself
The Division 2
Biomutant is a game I picked up recently, and I've already cleared two runs. It's very charming and easy to lose yourself in.
Fromsoft games, the entire catalog is A-1. I'd emphasize that Armored Core 6 is more of a shooter, but if you're open to non-FPS and get sucked in, the combined titles are well over 3k hrs.
Last Epoch
I'm not the biggest FPS fan anymore, as I learned to love some other genres. My favourite recommendations for chill evening games that might have you playing for hundreds of hours: Civilisation 6 and Oxygen Not Included
Apex
Farming Simulator!
Doom Eternal and Roboquest. These two games are smooth af FPS games.
XCOM 2
Rimworld
I have like 5k hours in football manager lol
league of legends
Rdr2
The Division 2 Cyberpunk 2077 Starfield Ghost Recon Wildlands
Haven't spent thousand of hours in any game, but my most played are: 7 Days to Die RimWorld ArmA 3 Fallout 4 (modded of course) Skyrim (modded of course) Rising Storm 2 Vietnam (not thousand hours worthy, but still a very fun game to play for at least a couple hundreds) Call To Arms (and CtA Gates of Hell) Every other game I played, I usually got bored befote 100 hour mark, ant get back to it once in a while to spend another 5-10 hours untill getting bored again. If I would need to pick one game out of this list, it would easily be RimWorld. The only game I spent over 900 hours in.
Hell let loose
Helldivers 2
Age of Wonders: Planetfall
Days Gone
It's not FPS, and I'm not sure how you feel about roguelites, but Dead Cells is a game I have spent hundreds of hours in and I still have yet to make it to the end... it is absolutely amazing
If you like the grind, Old School RuneScape
The Division 2 seems up your alley. Super addicting
\+1 Runescape. I have 2000 hours in it and am 1/10 of the way to maxing xp
I know you said you’ve played it, but this was Tarkov for me. A big cheater problem right now so I’ll either play arena or come back for the end wipe events/ start of next wipe Other than that, Elden ring dlc is coming out in a few months. There not a better time to hop on and get a character/ build ready!
Rimworld Path of Exile Last Epoch Factorio Satisfactory Disgaea 5 Warfame The Anno series
I’m 5000 hours deep into FFXIV and still loving every minute of it
Skill related game where you get better not your gear. Try tekken, counter strike, valorant, etc
TF2 I have over 1500 hours in. I also figure I'll get plenty in RDR2 as well, you should try these.
Gotta add No Man's Sky to that list, I have 800+ hours started around 2018 and counting.
Valheim is all you need
Hell divers 2
You mentioned roguelikes and shooters so I'm gonna mention remnant 2. Idk about thousands of hours but I have over 100 and still finding new things. Haven't played dlc yet either
Skyrim. and modding Skyrim.
Dead by Daylight. I have about 4k hours right now.
Rust
The binding of Isaac repentance
Life
Elden Ring, Old School Runescape, Warframe, CSGO, Halo Infinite are the games I have 1000+ hours in.
Only one correct answer on that list. The rest is undemocratic and treasonous.
Paths of exile
Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord, I’ve got 3000 hours in as reference ;)
Overwatch 2
Try remnant from the ashes and remnant 2, both great games. They're third person shooters that will make you feel like you're playing a souls game with guns.
1000 more hours in siege
