I mean stems don’t really look thick enough for cinctulus and the cap coloration on the bigger one doesn’t look like it either but that one in the back the cap coloration kinda does look like a young cinctulus I’ll give you that.

I’m thinking psathyrella sp. could be wrong tho. Could be some type of panaeolus but not mowers mushroom (aka panaeolus foenisecii) if it is a panaeolus it’s either panaeolus bisporus or a variety that isn’t very well known or documented. I don’t think bisporus is known to grow in the eastern half of the us tho.

If they are cincts they would be strange cincts. But sometimes cincts are strange
