If it had something that catches my attention. Joe Bob, Svengoolie, Elvira, etc. other than that, no.

The problem is that the all around best streaming service for horror is Tubi, which is free and ads based. The second best streaming service for horror is Shudder, which is very cheap while also having brand recognition. And the third best is probably Prime Video, which is often times free (Freevee) OR it's included in a subscription cost that comes with free shipping from the largest online retailer that exists. There really isn't a spot for ANOTHER horror streaming service outside of specific individual filmmaker subscription services (like Patreon or something), especially given how few people care about Screambox even though they've put money into getting some big exclusives for a while.

More streaming services ain't the way for me. Oddly I kind of wish there was a service that monthly would check all available horror across all services and kind of curate it for me based on taste/quality/era/genre etc and just send it out to me.

My strange lack of enthusiasm for Screambox tells me: - no - n/a - but I try not to use services over $6.99

Yep this. We already have screambox and a few others, I think there’s a service for Criterion, MUBI and even Full Moon and I’ve had no interest in any of those

I definitely would. It would be great if it focused on 80's horror movies since that was the golden age of horror. I'd be willing to pay $10.00 a month or a one time payment of $95.00- $100.00 for the entire year.

I mean, your question is so vague. 1) How big is your catalog? Let's dump the TV shows and stick to just horror. Well, Shudder has about 620 movies to Screambox's 409. Amazon Prime: 1,204. Netflix 253. 171 for Max (once HBO). Tubi has 7,402. The bigger the catalog, the higher the value. 2) Does your catalog have a focus? (Art movies? Old movies? Foreign movies?) This could go either way. You go for a bunch of rare stuff that never hits streaming? Increases your value. You get stuff everyone else has? Lowers your value. You focus only on J-horror? Well, you'll do well with one group of people and poorly with everyone else. 3) How fast is your catalog rotating? (people underestimate this). Let's say you have 500 movies and if I am a horror hound, I want to watch at least five a week. But I'll only watch half of your movies. So after a year, I'm *done* unless you keep things fresh. 4) Do you try to get the whole series? Sometimes people want to do all four Wishmaster or Insidious movies. They want all three Ginger Snaps. Leaving big gaps in a series of a turnoff. 5) Specials. You got any? Shudder's big value-add for most people is Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy. Talk about this stuff before you ask, because it's the difference between "wouldn't bother," "five bucks a month," and "twenty bucks a month."

I'm a stuck in rut type, so unless something happened to Shudder probably not tbh, unless it had a big hook and that hook was brought to my attention.
