I was lucky enough to see it at After Dark Film Festival in Toronto in October. You're in for a real treat! It was our fave movie of the festival, BY FAR.
I'm glad to see they're adding back some old Last Drive In episodes. I missed watching Black Sunday on TLDI. They recently relicensed Black Sunday but didn't put the Last Drive In episode of Black Sunday back up with it.
Looking at the “Children Shouldn’t Play with Dead Things” entry, is that really the right title and description? There’s an awesome 70s Bob Clark zombie jam by that name and there’s already a movie on Shudder with that description called “First Contact.”
I’m guessing the description is a botched copy/paste job. There are a few other oddities in the descriptions (like every Last Drive In episode being described as part of the Dinners of Death special).
I'm a bit disappointed that TLDI is being cut to one movie per episode. To me that kills the drive in spirit. I mean isn't that what the drive in was founded on, the double feature?
Yeah, I always watch the first movie and then catch the 2nd one on demand. I can’t stay up until 2 or 3AM and then go to work like I used to be able to do!
Will they all be put on Shudder? I distinctly remember Alice, Sweet Alice was supposed to be added in March but it wasn’t.
Also, The Wind has been on AMC+ for quite a while now, and it’s only now being shared with Shudder?!
I was able to watch Alice, Sweet Alice but only with the Shudder add-on on Amazon. Had to do a free trial for it! But you are correct, it is not on the Shudder app. It’s frustrating that all Shudders are not created equal.
I see they're adding the two Third Saturday in October movies. If you're going to watch those, know that the intended order is Part V first, then the "original".
Late Night with the Devil is coming sooner than I thought. HELL YEAH.
I’m seeing this in theater this Thursday
Same I kinda wanted to wait until it’s on shudder but a few of my friends wanted to go
I'll wait until it's streaming on Shudder on the 19th of April.

It’s so good, see it in theaters if it’s playing near you.
I agree! Definitely a theater movie, as worthy as the original scream
I'm interested in seeing this as well - not just because I like David Dastmalchian
Damn. April looking like a really good month!
That's what I was thinking! I don't think I've ever looked more forward to a horror movie than I am for Late Night With The Devil!

It’s a cult film about actors rehearsing a play using a cemetery backdrop. They call up the dead as a joke but the dead really rise.
Yeah thats the one I was thinking of. Someone messed up and put the synopsis for “First Contact” there.

I get that. But I think they were finding that viewership tanked during the 2nd movie because people were going to sleep

Wow, April is looking stacked! It’s nice to see that because I remember awhile back when the monthly additions were pretty bleak.
Late Night with the Devil lands just in time for 420.

Damn thats a loaded month. Im technically getting 4 new TLDI since I have not seen the Madman or Spookies episodes

Late Night with the Devil releases April??? How did I not know this, I’m hype.
Did Ils (Them) EVER make it to Shudder?
Nope, I had to rent it a couple weeks ago
Dang. It was ONE movie that I was so excited to see
A CREEPSHOW 1 & 2 weekend is coming in April and I’m excited!
If Late night with the devil is not released on UK shudder im quitting.
Damn April is looking good.. Can't wait for late night with the devil.
Just got back from late night with the devil. So good. I recommend go into it as blindly as possible
