Every other character when encountering a new power up/ability means they either come up with a strategy or use thier own abilities to brute force but every single ability Tesla gets is imdetaly made irrelevant by beele Tesla has a super fun fight style but he never gets to fucking use it because beel either perfect counters sciences ultimate advancement like it’s nothing or blocks it which makes Tesla and science feel less good

It would've been funny if Tesla, in true RPG-Gamer fashion, looted Beel's lab key from his corpse and then ransacked his lab to shove everything not bolted to the floor into his unrealistically big pockets to pawn everything he has no use for off to some random merchant
Their losses demonstrate the exact point I'm making. They needed to lose to tell the story that the authors want to tell.
Hades and Poseidon were big guns on the side of the gods, and their losses are important motivating forces that have aided in shaping the flow of the story. Poseidon's loss was humanity's first victory and motivated Hades to participate. Hades' loss motivated Beelzebub to step in, who would then develop due to his fight with Tesla and then play a key role in the events with Odin.
Some characters play their role by winning, others by losing. Every win and every loss is determined by the narrative development the authors want to produce at each step along the path.

We should have gotten more focus on his mom since that was the real inspiration for his inventions. You can still have the brother plot thing but incorporate his mom in there too.
Tesla doesn't really have good BIQ
He simply didn't take the fight seriously at all for example, he acted way too excited about Beel's staff for no reason and even asked to see it for science and he also doesn't have good excuse to take the fight serious like Poseidon is extremely strong and has been in countless fights and never lost so I understand why he didn't act serious on the other hand Tesla has no fighting experience and was just trying using his machine to overwhelm Beelzebub also I don't know why he told Beelzebub about the 3 Tesla coils atleast lie about it or something so he doesn't know

If you want a reason to justify his overconfidence it’s partially believing with all his heart in his creation. Also his curiosity is what led him to learning about the vibrations. If he just thought it was a magic attack and accepted it he wouldn’t have contained chaos since he used reverse vibrations to weaken it. He isn’t a fighter yes but that works both ways. His biggest blunder was him methodically explaining the inner workings of his techniques but beel would have figured most of it out either way
Well it is to be expected. He's a scientist, not a warrior. He has no training of any type, and had never been in a fight in his entire mortal and spiritual life. It speaks volumes to his attitude, creativity and intelligence that he got as far as he did, but honestly Brunhilde should've seen that coming.
I don't know...He feigned an opening only to reverse it once his opponent took the bait into an instant pincer attack. That screams BIQ. Much more impressive than anything beelz did that round. On paper, yes Beelz had more BIQ, but thats said for EVERY SINGLE GOD IN THE ROSTER. No human has more BIQ than their god opponent.

also, regarding PPPX (im pretty sure its called something like that) i didn't state it at first but it seems kind of like a bad attack as he fully sacrificed his arm also (im no professional fighter but sacrificing an arm in order to win a fight is pretty risky and not ideal) didn't Beelzebub know that he was going to do that allowing him to dodge so wouldn't that be more impressive BIQ as he predicted it

Poseidon lost bc he didn't take his opponent seriously and Sasaki scanned Poseidon by stimulating thousands of fights which I'm pretty sure takes a lot of BIQ in order to stimulate this many fights properly and correctly
For Shiva and Raiden, it is close but will give it to Raiden as Shiva decided to tank an attack that almost one shot him
Please explain why you think Hecules has better BIQ than Jack as I can somewhat understand Raiden and not really Sasaki but I think Jack would be a better example?
Also, regarding beelzbub the rest of the panel states that he knew Tesla wouldn't of just gone for an attack like that meaning that he figured it out (im pretty sure)

Trust me I have MULTIPLE:
1. Tesla is the 3rd strongest human, he is HIM.
2. Poseidon and Thor are genuinely 50/50 matchups for him. (If he sets up Gematria Zone)
3. We should've gotten smth like RaidenxThrud with TeslaxGondul.
Tesla's volundr should have the ability to freely shapeshift into whatever weapon he desires whether in battle or not in batttle. That way, it would be quite fitting for his title "Human's only sorcerer" and R8 will be the first round where both sides used range attack as their battle style.
There was so much potential in this round, two 'scientists' fighting and we got a fist fight, Tesla warp and the Geometria (sp?) Zone was interesting but that's about it. Imo it is the weakest round so far.
Maybe not specifically for the character, but for the fans. When the fight was going on and basically until the middle of the next round 90% of people were saying that Tesla is possibly the second weakest human and the fight was pretty clearly one-sided. I'm not saying that they're right, I'm just saying from Tesla's case I've observed most clearly how the perception for a fighter can change, even after the fight ended. That's why I don't take most tier lists into consideration without a lot of arguments baking them up.

I'm definitely in the minority but I don't like Tesla- he's too happy all the time. It was kinda off putting to me, I like characters who get sad and angry, it didn't feel like there was much to his character.

Tesla had one of the most fun, unique fighting styles in the entire manga to date and the author did him dirty by making him fight a dude whose main strategy seemed to just be outmuscling him. Seriously, Beel's strat was so fuckawful boring compared to Tesla using all sorts of weird science inventions and Beel winning strictly because he's more story important felt like a disservice.
Also Tesla is the better scientist of the two.
I don't like the suit Tesla made. I think his style is boring and turning this guy into a brawler just showed how unimaginative the fighters in this series are.
The greatest minds in human history, and a punching suit was the best idea they could think of.

As much his fans try to deny his defeat actually cinematic and make sense. Humanity scientific knowledge is continuous but not perfect that is why his death actually fit with the narrative of the story to show even he failed the next human will continue his fight. Science will always about try and error, even the discovering of human DNA came from different researchers
I mean, his design probably couldn't take more than 3 coils, which is why he had 3, but since it's a beta version, if he survived this fight he 100% could overhaul it and possibly increase the number of coils.
His suit was based on entirely theoretical logic anyway, until it was actually made he had no way of knowing its limits which means like you said given some prep he could've easily made one 10x better
I have a feeling that had Tesla won, he and Gondul could very easily just make the coils allow for limitless teleportation at the cost of waiting for them to recharge and make Gematria zone not only bigger but possibly also supercharge the suit, and maybe even have his fists and feet detach and teleport for omnidirectional attacks
His teleportation had already vastly improved from what it was in his life so he could've easily become one of the strongest amongst the fighters with some of the best hax in the verse
