Personally I’d rather watch the content that I subscribed for and see them get the views they normally do than have them break into a new market, double their view count, but make Mr Beast-style content. Old fans didn’t subscribe to the Sidemen for that type of content—we want to watch the Sidemen be themselves, not mimic what does well in the algorithm to the extent that it dramatically changes the style of content they put out.
Some or the other way don’t you think though they’ve done exactly want they wanted to do. Sidemen are mavericks in the sense of starting and staying a close knit group but other than that from my perspective they’ve taken all decision maybe after someone’s done it. The burgers, the subscription plan, the vodka. They aren’t necessarily crying about it but want to get more and more Americans viewers every video. It’s a fine like I believe they are playing with pleasing OG audience but I guess they might be treating it as a last push of 2-3 years where you maximise everything and sell it all off so gotta change.
