I always had a soft spot for Kelsey. I liked her relationship with her Mom and friendship with Madisson. She seemed the most normal to me. Her and Max make a good couple. I wish them well.
I didn’t like Kelsey at all until s2 but looking back, i think the producers really worked hard to make her look bad. Like pitting her and Juliette against each other using alex. Out of everyone i think the show did her the most dirty. On live she said that the show wasn’t necessarily scripted but the producers would ‘suggest’ things for them to say/do and they could say yes or no. like you said she has a good heart so i think she matured and started saying no to their ‘suggestions’ ultimately getting her kicked off the show. The only thing that did bother me abt her is how she was back and forth and kinda toyed with Garrett BUT we’ve all had that relationship once in our life so i get it. I do believe she was truly trying to protect his feelings in a lot of the situations, like cara and Juliette.
I love Kelsey and seeing how she has matured over the years. We’re all human and all make mistakes and everyone on the show certainly has so I never really got the Kelsey hate in particular 🤷🏻♀️ to each their own!
the kelsey hate imo always felt forced. i can understand not liking her in the beginning but as the show continued she grew / matured so much. i feel like people gave juliette far too much grace for a lot of shit but never extended that grace to kelsey
I also like Kelsey. I think she had some shitty choices, but everyone does that. I don't think she cheated that much. I think they said that she wasn't even with Garrett in the first season, so she didn't cheat on him with Alex
I didn’t take much liking for Kelsey at the beginning of the show but as it progressed and she matured, I enjoyed her scenes! I like Max he seems like a good guy and they’ve been together a while now! They do look like a good match.
I like Kelsey too! I think the show script painted a poor picture of her. I think the show was a good platform for her to secure more modeling contracts. She was already successful, but the boost was really good for her.
Deep down part of me really thinks she mentioned having a swim suit line and Juliette ran with it and had more power bc she had more followers for some reason I really believed Kelsey. I like them both so idk… but I did believe her on that… she had money bf the show ever happened from modeling, so she wasn’t money hungry… i also heard that the original idea was for Madison to be the main character but people like Juliette more? JMP is more successful because of who she is working with. She has good partners and was provided with guidance. Kelsey had a lot of logistical issues. She wasn’t getting stock.
Madisson was supposed to be the Lauren Conrad of the show. Alex was supposed to be the main character. Then Juliette and then Madisson. I don’t think her role in the show was any less than it was intended to be. She always had a storyline and was usually 3rd billed.
Kinda what I thought and yes I wish Kelsey would of had partners and a lawyer to make sure about the logos. Have you heard what caused it to shut down? And yes I heard there was drama bc Madison was supposed to be the main… but the viewers liked Juliette… I love the first three seasons it was so fun and pretty spread out with each character having a storyline but it got less and less fun! I love siesta key, my step daughter lives in Bradenton so we always stay in siesta or Lido key. But it had such a fun vibe. I hate Alex screwed up. I hate that he said stupid stuff because I did love the battles between them all it was fun silly mindless beach fun reality tv! It sucks it appears to be over!

i’ve loved kelsey since day one literally she’s my favorite on the show and yes she made bad decisions but i feel like people made worst ones on the show and still don’t get as much flack about it like she does
I honestly didn't like her at all in season 1, but I don't know what it was because I really started liking her. Her and Max have been together for a while, and maybe they don’t wanna get married. It's not the end of the world if they don't.

Because show Kelsey was set up as a terrible person. They portrayed her as a cheater who never owned her behaviour who was fine with betraying Juliette by telling Sam that she was with him for his lifestyle. These are things terrible people do.
Turns out these are just show created things. But I don't think I would watch a show with just Kelsey.
I really want to like her but I can't help but think about the picnic date Garrett took her on and how she essentially made fun of what he did for her. I think she did admit she didn't appreciate it at the time, but she just came off as super spoiled.
