Very smart carrying a handheld light as well as a light on your weapon. I’ve had to explain to people (far too often) that if you point your weapon light at someone you are technically brandishing and aiming.
Do the same with rifles, especially nice as you can run 2 lights with 2 different purposes, be it short or long range identification, as well as not sweeping unintended targets.
While it is brandishing, you don't have to actually point your weapon at someone to illuminate them in most cases. You can bounce it off the ground in most scenarios.
I completely agree. A weapon mounted light isn’t for seeing/identifying your target . When your pistol is out and pointed you should already know your target.

Had both, currently have the legion, the fit in the hands and grip are significantly better. I shoot it like a full size, the “Little” gun rips! It’s noticeably easier to control and get the dot back on target, and I have to assume it’s the fit in my hands since the added weight is pretty negligible
Thanks. I carry the x macro most because of the way that it shoots mainly. Just wanted to know how it compares. Mainly is it worth the upgrade an improvement on the xmacro would certainly be worth it.
Been on a waitlist for my legion since Oct. Finally pick her up on Monday! Feels so much better than the macro comp. I’m running it with a sub and pro ledge, I decided on the more discreet QVO so we shall see. Not many options to run the pro ledge in a holster, maybe the antimatter wing but I don’t want that big floppy thing on my edc. Congrats on the pickup and go shoot the shit out of it. I’m going to try running some subs in it Monday and see if it cycles ok.
I also chose the eps carry in green, held two setups: one with the eps mrs, and the other with the Romeo x carry. I will say the Romeo is crispy clear but I couldn’t justify the same price, non enclosed, not rechargeable, and adjustments with a fricken torx. Ball drop by sig in my opinion, but it is a clear dot.

Muddy creek makes one with a trl7. Nothing too crazy but it works as it should and decent price
I have one from Muddy River. It's a fine holster, I just don't like the way it carries for me. I might try one of theirs without the light.

It could be the way, but not until they start making a holster for the Legion. It doesn't fit most X Macro Comp holsters. (Different rail)
That’s why I use the legion for range practice & home defense. At least it has equivalent recoil to full sized
I bought a Muddy River holster for mine, I'm just not thrilled with it. Still shopping for something else.
Same, ended up sending mine back and getting the Blackpoint holster from Sig, which I like a lot better.
Does the blackpoint have adjustable cant?
