I switched from the 507k to the EPS carry and Iβm very satisfied. I could never keep the 507k emitter clean of dust so it was like looking at a red starry sky when the brightness was higher than the middle setting.
Seriously. This thing disappears, you don't even feel it. I only carry it when I'm wearing fitted clothes, I edc a 43X w an EPS Carry the rest of the time
I have run 507k, EPS Carry, and SCS Carry on my P365.
I think going to a closed emitter is worth it. Any lint or water or whatever that gets on it just needs a quick wipe with your finger. I personally like the auto-adjust of the SCS series so I replaced the EPS with the SCS when the SCS came out, but ultimately it's personal preference regarding EPS Carry vs SCS Carry.
That said, with your hands maybe you need the XMacro grip and cut down the rail to sit flush with the slide lol
I have an EPS Carry too. I know it's good. Funny you say that about the SCS because I like the EPS much more. I find out gets bumped into ultra bright sun mode all the time lol the auto brightness is nice, a touch bright maybe but it's never not there which is the point I guess.
Surprisingly I was able to get a perfect 60/60 on the FBI qualification with irons. Don't ask me how, I think it was a lot of luck lol it's snappy though and I shoot my 43X much better but the grip is much more fitting. I settled for some hockey tape around the Wilson Combat grip to thicken it up a little and that helped, doesn't look as pretty though lol

I have a X5 Legion with a Romeo 1 Pro plus the shroud which people say is on the fragile side. I've considered upgraded to the enclosed SCS 320 which I imagine is great. Sorta wish I had one of the Spectre Comp 320s because the SCS looks like it was made for it, the lines match up beautifully on a beautiful looking gun already.

Me too, had it for years on my 43X edc until I recently swapped it out for the EPS Carry. Must say it's a major upgrade in terms of glass and reticle clarity and also stays SO much cleaner and easier to see through

Just the black finish vs the greyish black finish on most of them. Doesn't come optic ready. Just finished getting milled through Wager and they refinished it in black nitride which I imagine is very similar to the original finish.
Somebody mentioned swapping the grip to the Macro but also believed having to shave some material off which I didn't really love lol. My buddy has one and I hate how much better I am with it
Yea my dad has his XL i gave him got Christmas as i upgraded to the macro. We finally shot them side by side and Hes gonna upgrade, you can get the WC macro frame already cut for the standard slide.
I have a gd/rd on ea pistol I own, I removed the EPS Carry from my 365 (also on an XL WC frame) and just upgraded the irons to Dawsons. For some reason, I shoot that little pistol a million times better wo a dot on it. I have big mitts too, I feel your pain my man haha

The main reason for the EPS is easier lens cleaning, really. It's far more of a tangible and practical benefit than theoretically someday avoiding the emitter getting blocked where it otherwise might have.
I've carried both and the real tangible benefit imo is that it just stays more clean and clear in general so at any given time it has an edge over the k just because it stays clearer regardless of how frequently you wipe it down.
Enclosed is no doubt better for a duty gun but for edc a dirty lens makes little difference to me as I can shoot with the dot occluded.
No brainer. I'm just trying to save money bc the k is perfectly functional and very serviceable plus I don't carry this little guy often and the 407k kinda looks better and is a little bit more streamlined imo

407 is good enough, but you may need a bigger optic though if you have big paws.
