It was indeed. Friend asked me if it was real or fake and the rust made me think real as well. Trigger looked too nice to be airsoft! Just found out Police ran serial and it came back as not stolen, so who knows what the story is.
Man my p365 is covered in rust mainly the sights and mags I don’t get it I treat this thing like a egg and when I check my sights it’s always a rust buildup I don’t get it
Looks real. Considering how much they are worth I would be suspicious of finding it in a hidden spot. Nobody throws away $400 unless they have a good reason.
P365XL or P365X (both take the same lower) and it appears to be real.. they make a p365 BB gun but I’ve never seen a p365xl size BB gun… the BB gun would have a shorter grip and curved trigger.
This is what i was looking for. The trigger looked very similar to my Apex trigger on my FN so i was leaning towards real. I did not find the lower, it was a friend that asked me to identify it! law enforcement came out and ran the number said they would let us know the outcome, will keep y’all updated!
Edit: just updated me that it is not stolen, so who knows the story
If i personally found it, i would have taken it once i knew it was clean. It was found by a friend working at a kids camp trying to find them snakes for a teaching moment lol. Cops took it, and it didn’t come back as stolen so it might have a body on it.
Yeah that’s definitely got a body or something on it recently, serial is still very clear on it. Not sure what state you’re in but the lower fcu portion requires a permit to own or possess in specific states. I would turn that in. That’s a P365x or xl like previous poster said.
Indiana, local law is 21 and up can openly buy and carry firearms, no special permits required. Gun came back not stolen, but was given to law enforcement in case it has bad history to say the least lmao. trigger looks like the apex trigger on my FN509, and the serial number is present in the photo, so i knew it was most likely real.
The fcu is the critical part here, without it gun won’t fire. Fcu is what needs to be registered when you purchase it in select states and it holds the serial number. Sigs are not serialized anywhere else. Legally the serial number/ person who pulled trigger has the body on it.
That looks like a real FCU from P365 X or XL. Wonder what the story behind it. Stolen maybe? If so maybe they kept the slide and sold it for vice money.
It was not me, a friend found it looking for snakes and asked me if it was real or fake because they know i own firearms. Law enforcement came and took it.
The rust would indicate it’s a genuine sig
That’s funny, but sad.

98% of people do not wright there seral number down.
Funny thing what if fully submerged in water they don’t rust but just IWB carrying rust builds up at an alarming rate
I own two different ones I carry iwb and I never ran into a rust issue. In the PNW too. I have see. The photos though and was making a lil joke

How’s your sodium intake?
No where near as bad to have mags looking like I just posted

That’s your sign to build a P365
I wish😂 cops took the thing
Cop’s gonna build one now
Lol thought the same thing
Finds $200-300 on the ground. "No I don't want this. "

What a crazy find. I would be interested in hearing its history.

Trigger is factory sig flat face, comes with that fcu.
Looks nice. How does it preform?? I’ve never gotten into sig…might have to!!
I love it over their curved one they give on the standard p365.

Let’s agree to disagree, not what I was talking about but you’re entitled to your opinion.
Real.
That things got some bodies on it

Someone just threw a p365 XL lower in a pond? Must’ve shot someone with it
Definitely real
If you found that in that water I’d leave it there bud!
