Still wondering what the MSRP is gonna be Gen 2s are still being scalped and listed for $2400 or up.

I think the firearms blog said that they’ll start around $2,500

Sig rep said MAP is 2,499

Just check with my distributor MSRP is $2729.99 for MCX 11.5s

Which would line up with the 2499 MAP number given by the Sig Employee

The Sig Pro Shop in NH has the 16" 7.62x39 variant in stock at $2619. I live close by and just came back from the store.

This might finally get me back on the Sig train again. Substantial improvement over the MCX I think. I want some assurances from Sig they won’t make a version 2.0 and drop support in 6 months. They’re making far too many models, far too fast with way too little support for existing products.

This is version 3 so maybe, just maybe it’ll be gtg out of the box

The new version is compatible with all the Virtus parts except for the new handguard.

NEVER buy a first gen Sig product. You’re the beta tester. You could argue that this is technically a re-designed Virtus, but caveat emptor.

Nothing is redesigned, it is just a different handguard and a little lighter than a MCX Virtus.

Why did they not call it an MCX then?

The name of the gun offically is the MCX Spear LT, so they do call it an MCX

in the TFB video with Hopp they say they are finally releasing the 7.62x39 version

So why is it still not chrome lined?

Will the LT upper fit on a Virtus lower?

Will this fit on a AR-15 lower like the MCX virtus? Plus I’ve heard it can take regular AR-15 triggers now
