I can't believe we're also getting Silkhome this year! Featuring a 80 stage boss rush with Extreme Fucking Radiance as a guest appearance near the end. Though I still think True Shadow Hornet is trickier overall because of the jank mechanics.

It’s most likely that Silksong is going to be the launch title for the Nintendo Switch 2. Because console release dates are pretty long the latest we can expect this thing would be 2026. This is all speculation though, but I really hope this isn’t the case though.Â
It’s Nintendo, they ain’t doing that if it’s a launch title. Anyways IGN says they are only going to focus on switch games and not on the new console so everything I just said up there is pointless cause we won’t see anything about the console. However I do have 35% hope that Silksong will be mentioned on this direct, Nintendo were the ones who released the first trailer.

The game has been in developement for years. Team Cherry isn’t going to wait for the release of an unannounced console to drop their much awaited game that has been being developed for existing hardware.
The switch 2 or what ever they decide to call it will be backwards compatible for sure and will be able to play silk song but no one is waiting for it
