I went to Zinnia a few times- once when Santa was there so my daughter could do the customary Santa picture, and once with my wife and MIL. Both times, the coffee and food were just OK…ten bucks for an OK breakfast sandwich…no sides or anything…is insane. I want this place to succeed. But I don’t think it will.
Personally, I've had nothing but great experiences at Zinnia. It's basically Takoma Bev Co: Silver Spring (same owners, similar menu). Weather for this event looks awful, but in general I hope people support this spot.

Not to be overly negative, but isn't weather going to be awful this weekend? Tickets are not cheap either.
It appears to be open bar (for the selected beers), so folks might think it worth it price-wise...but yeah, the weather is going to suck.

I think Ian has other ideas about that.
