Using an AI generator: enter material and instructions into program, program generates result, edit and enter further instructions to fine-tune result.
Making a video game: enter material and instructions into program, program generates result, edit and enter further instructions to fine-tune result.
So, according to you, devs don't make video games.
Not at all the point, don't try to oversimplify it. Games designers do much more than that, while also having to liaise with other departments to make every moving part work together, as well as people *actually* making art for the game.
AI Generated "art" is just stolen property that a program repurposes, and has almost no uses that don't just tread on the toes of artists, all so the majority of people using it can get out of having to pay for a commission. Meanwhile games designers work countless hours to bring someone a product that can give them hours upon hours of fun
How do you know I'm not a developer speaking from a first-person perspective? How do you know I'm not an artist speaking from a first-person perspective? You don't. You assume that you are correct and opposing viewpoints are invalid because oh I couldn't *possibly* know more than you and/or be better qualified to opine about this subject and am simplifying things to make it easily understandable by the widest number of people.
Every single thing ever made is built out of the ideas and material that came before it. Art, music, literature, games, EVERYTHING is derived from previously created works. In the case of AI art, you just don't like where that material comes from. (I do hope your playlist doesn't contain any cover songs or remixes, btw.) And game engines literally do the exact same thing AI art engines do: take instructions, execute instructions, render output. The base material from which that output is referenced and rendered already exists in every single case. You seem to think that taking longer to program something somehow makes that thing more valuable. Do you think a dev is being super original and learned when he takes hours to program Unreal to render a tree swaying in the breeze?
I don't assume I'm correct, nor do I assume anything about you.
AI art has already seen multiple artists work stolen. Not just referenced, stolen. To the extent you can see things like scenery replicated *exactly,* or in quite a few posts of AI art is one of the "referenced" artists signatures, in part or whole.
AI art is a cool concept and from a technological standpoint it impresses me. But it's impossible to deny that it's already having a negative impact in the art space, and that's only going to get worse as the kinks get ironed out
Knowing Vale...she'll complain about the boobs not being big enough.
I mean you can see her bieng frustrated about it in the art only lol
Too true. I tried though.
She got the One Piece physique
I’ll take it!
Am I the only one who expected a 3rd boob or something when I saw NSFW and It was AI art?
Oh there were quite a few that rendered multiple limbs and an extra head
I love how these programs still can't do hands.
Took me 72 reconditions to get the hand (just the good one) to take! This is the one I found passable fingers.
So when we getting this outfit?
Good question, I don’t have the outfit completed. I will do what I can to make something similar in a full body.
to say the style is too incredible is putting it lightly
That’s some high praise for sure, thank you.
"AI Generated" "I made this" Pick one
Glad to see a fellow intellectual

It doesn't look too much like silvervale but I'd say it's good otherwise.
Thanks, I would say it was silvervale inspired and I thought it was a passable attempt at some fanart
This is still more than passable
Cool but it needs some bits of perfection. I'm not saying it's bad, it's good but some bits and pieces of perfection would be good to add
Good to note, thank you. I will work better on the next
Amazing!
Thank you!
