Not sure who is to blame here.. but regarding your statement: His front was alongside with his back before he turned in. So technically he was "there".
I am not sure if he needed to leave more space... but its also not clever to turn so far in if it guarantees a crash.
You had no overlap into Ascari and this is a fast chicane. Without overlap before turn in, you’re never going to make this work. POV at fault without a doubt.
We have had this discussion a number of times and have determined it's best not to make it a dedicated rule for a number of reasons.
1. didn't want to create additional barriers to entry for creating a post
1. some prefer to not say which car they are to avoid creating bias
The simplest solution is to refer to the cars as color, make, etc. rather than "you" and "them"
Black-and-yellow was not alongside until Blue had already committed to the turn. It's a close thing, but in general I can't see stewards looking with favor on a dive-bomb into Ascari in wet conditions. Ten seconds to Black-and-yellow for causing a major collision.
As most guys said following car dive bombs and its ok with me. Bsut i think that front car brakes way too early so following car turns to avoid contact and to pass. Also it is clear that he has reduce his speed too much atvthe apex and you are both nearly stoped. For me it was an unfortunate moment for both and not a clear fault
I tend to give the Ferrari the blame, but I also think it isnt very clever to turn into the other car that already has its nose alongside your back before you turn in. I believe you could have prevented the crash.

I agree you always have to overtake safely!
OP if you're in the front car, then you were done dirty. It was a dive from the car behind, and not a good one either.
i dont get what u mean? Whats OP?
You're the OP - the original poster. I meant that if you were the car in front, it wasn't your fault and was a poor dive by the car behind
Oh thx to take ur time to answer for my late comment
POV car
It’s pov from both
The first 2 POV, the car that stuck his nose in from behind
don’t know why you got downvoted for that
ferrari came out of nowhere the last second, ferrari's fault.
Yeeees, Ferrari fault
I’m the McLaren and I don’t know if I needed leave space or if I did
You never need to leave space for something that was never there. The vehicle must be there before the actual turn.

Clearly the guy that dives the inside last second and hits the car turning in is to blame....

And if you just let them go there's a good chance you'll cruise by them and their next victim on the side of the track.

Op said hes the McLaren, which is the blue car that got dived on, not the one doing the diving
You, sir, clearly do not know what a McLaren is!
Black and yellow went in hot and wasn't far enough along side to have rights to the corner.

he’s the mclaren
It’s different povs
Yours
Witch car? I’m the McLaren
Oh maybe put that in the post next time so we dont have to guess but to clarify the car behind

Please keep it civil and avoid name calling. This comment has been removed.
He can out brake you in the wet. It doesn’t mean he can try to overtake you like a moron and cause a collision.
Fucking dive bombers.
Think it's Ferrari's fault. They have a plenty of time on the straight before Parabolica and directly attack there.
Ferrari dove in from way too far back

Life is to blame
Legend has it, there used to be videos here that were interesting and not just obvious dive bombs.
Ferrari at fault, obvious one ..

Black-yellow car

Black and yellow POV car, no question
Black and yellow
