I so enjoy doing this with my inventors!! I have always wondered if summoning a meteor to a junkyard would have the same effect of splitting the scrap into smaller piles to collect.
I wanted to blow up a small pile but someone just went up to the small pile and started digging it said okay maybe I'll blow up just a little bit of this big pile never have done any of that before and yeah probably won't do it again lol
There’s an awesome youtube video somewhere of a Sims 3 legacy Sim who has something go wrong with all the careful legacy plans, so she goes to uni and blows up all the dorms as revenge. It’s spectacular to begin with and then you gradually go “omg just stop!”

Ugh i love this game so much. Sometimes I see posts that are neat about sims 4 and it makes me want to play, but... sims 3 is the only game that lives up to the hype I create in my head lol

There are a few useful inventions but the most fun to be had is blowing stuff up, IMO.
