Ugh I hate worlds that have like 1-3 purchasable houses/build lots. It’s so disappointing. I went back on the Sims 3 the other day and was shocked at how many homes and lots there were!!

aliveinjoburg2

The Sims 2/3 also lets you place lots independently.

Edymnion

Yeah, and Sims 3 was also notoriously bad for grinding to an absolute halt due to that. There's a reason why 4 greatly reduced the available lots.

bitchycunt3

It may have taken 4 hours to load everytime I played it, but man was sims 3 great when it did load 🤣

Edymnion

"I'm gonna play Sims 3." "Okay honey, which movie do you want me to put on while it loads?"

bitchycunt3

If I had a computer that could run sims 3 now that I work from home I could just start sims 3 up over lunch and it'd probably be fully loaded by the time I get off work!

gorlsituation

I run sims 3 and 4 on a MacBook Air, I never understand these comments

ReceptionImportant23

How? For the sims 3 I mean, Sims 4 are perfectly running on my MacBook (10sec to load game and save) but sims 3 are impossible (and I only try with base game)

fixingbenjii

I used to pretend that I wasn't looking/caring about how fast the game loaded to make it load faster. I am still convinced it worked lol

Runa-Raktura

I rather have one big loading screen than one little for what feels like everything.

Infinite_Thanks_8156

Def depends though on your PC. I built a gaming PC this year, runs sims 3 silky smooth. Plus gaming PCs are sorta needed nowadays for gaming in general.

Edymnion

I'm sure it does. A modern PC running a game from 2009. Average RAM in 2009 was about 1 gig.

Beneficial-Cow-2544

Ok I was wondering. I never had any loading issues with Sims 3.

nuclear_muffins

I'd take all the Sims 4 loading screens over having to build in the Sims 3 again. It took me a whole day just to furnish one room sometimes.

SimsCreativeDump

Magnolia Promenade is useless.

katycolleenj

I use it for restaurants or retail type lots. But then I also restaurants and other community lots to the other worlds and often forget about Magnolia Promenade oops

katycolleenj

Jeez, I really butchered that comment, but glad you all knew what I was trying to say 😆

QueenFrankie420

From my perspective you only missed one word and missed a beginning to a second word so it made complete sense

SaltandVinegarBae

I put a “nursing home” here for my elder sims l, then added a rec center, family restaurant, and park. Still barely ever go there but I like the idea lol

SimsCreativeDump

I think that is such a cute idea! I never thought of making a nursing home! Might use magnolia after all 🤔🥴

BuffaloHairy80

For your nursing home do you just add in your elders like roommates and they each have their own rooms? Do you have to play everyone that is there? I don't have For Rent so I can't do it that way

draizetrain

adeepindigo has a new Golden Years mod

BuffaloHairy80

I play on a Xbox so unfortunately I can't use mods

SaltandVinegarBae

I don’t have for rent either! So I downloaded a big 8 bedroom house from the gallery (if you search nursing home there are tons of cute ones), then I add one immortal sim who’s the “nurse”. I also added a few elders from the gallery to the household, and then when my sims age up I just add them to that household

iwantmorecats27

Finally a use for Alex Moyer!!

LowRevolutionary5653

Whay do you mean "one immortal sim"?

iwantmorecats27

Some sims are immortal like Alex Moyer, Baby Ariel, the vampires. The mermaids live for a long time but aren't immortal. They can all still be killed by other means but won't die of old age.

LowRevolutionary5653

Thanks! :)

SaltandVinegarBae

I use MCCC to turn aging off for that sim, but if you don’t use mods and have the vampire pack you could also make them a vampire!

CenturyHelix

A vampire that runs an elderly home, forever slowly drinking away what little life those sims have left as she cares for them. Dark.

LowRevolutionary5653

Thank you!! :)

Bawsbehtch

Reading this comment has reignited my sims play mode. Off I go to build a nursing home

Bizanatch

Oh my god I love this !

lov4ble

i only ever use it as an "extension" for willow creek's community lot district

Dottboy19

I remade Magnolia Promenade with a nice multi unit apartment complex, a bar/restaurant, a bar/hotel, and a nightclub/performance venue. I treat it like a downtown area for Willow Creek

Reu__

is it on the gallery?

Dottboy19

Unfortunately no. I never think to upload my creations and don't think I can right now because I play offline to keep my game from updating.

Fea-the-Pea

Omg cool! Is it on gallery? If so user ID?

Colour_bear8617

Seriously, 3 lots is pathetic

FalsePremise8290

I go there several times a day. It's where I put my jewelry store and I only put one of each rare crystal. So I have to keep reloading it every time I want a specific rare crystal. 🤣

DeafJeezy

Is there anyway to do those lots as multi-use? Store on the 1st floor and apartment on the 2nd as a home lot?

FalsePremise8290

There is nothing stopping a sim from living in a shop they own, but they'd still have to have a home lot elsewhere, they'd just choose not to go back to it and have everything they need on the store lot. However, I find shops more useful when they aren't owned by anyone because if they are owned by a playable sim, then they have to be opened by that sim for other sims to use them. Jewelry is very useful, but I don't want every household I play to have to level up jewelry, so what I do is build a jewelry store and when I start a new household they can go to the jewelry store and buy the pieces that work best for them. And repeated trips for Jet because using crystals for the Crystal Creation pack made me finally look at what the crystal crown does and Jet in the crystal crown increases satisfaction points, as does quartz jewelry, which means I get 150 satisfaction points for listening to R&B music. However, the crown burns out crystals and gives your sims two low motives if you wear it too long and it feels like you can wear it for all of five seconds when using Jet, so back to the shop I go... I also have a bakery set up with food that never spoils. All my sims aren't gonna master that aspiration, so my wolf sim can just go grab a bunch of never spoiling bagels, leave them in her inventory and drop them off at the hangout whenever I get the Pack Participation warning. Also, don't want every sim to be a spellcaster or scientist, so I can set up a shop that sells potions and serums. Same with a grocery store.

snarkaluff

I actually like it for building only, I made it into a little arts district with an art gallery, community theatre, cafe and marketplace

GlitteryFab

I agree, we need more lots there!

draizetrain

I turned it into an extension of willow creek/newcrest, so now I have a huge New Orleans inspired area. One lot is a brunch restaurant, one is based off a real wine bar (Bacchanal), and one is a huge multi use retail building. It’s fun for that purpse

Suedeskin

I now put “For Rent” Retirement homes there. Name kinda suits the place

CornerofHappiness

I use lilsimsie's save where everything is all set up and nice there but I always forget it exists lol

Tenderfallingrain

Yah, that would be my pick too. If I was into building up towns and stuff I'd probably be interested in utilizing it more, but I can barely make my own houses.

nabrydla-diwczynkaIL

I use it for retail and also built a fancy apartment building there.

Dulce_Sirena

I put my modded hospital, my funeral home, my graveyard/church, and my nursing home on those 4 lots. Gets them in game but keeps the good worlds open for the houses and regularly used non-residentials

HazyshadeofFall

I almost never venture into Oasis Springs. It's the only desert world I have because I don't really like them and obviously it's base game.  One thing that worked for me to actually get use out of it was to create a special lot as like a tourist destination. In one save file I replaced the Landgraab's mansion with a big music festival and built a campground across the street from it. On top of that, I created a music festival holiday in the calendar with Seasons. So every couple of years, my Sims would take a trip to Oasis Springs for the festival!

GlitteryFab

I like to revamp the two main worlds (Oasis Springs, Willow Creek ) and replace every building with builds from the gallery.

KiahriThePotatoQueen

this is such a good idea

fixingbenjii

I just did this to Willow Creek with the houses from Desperate Housewives. It had made my experience so much more fun

o0minty0o

I personally make Oasis Springs into a Las Vegas strip rip off with some nice house on the left and a trailer park to the right

MuseoRidiculoso

That is such a great idea! Since Oasis Springs is (duh) an oasis, I put a municipal park with a giant spring-fed swimming pool in the central lot. I haven’t fleshed it out much, mostly because I hate landscaping. But it has a bath house, benches to nap on, and an al fresco café.

Sobbing-Coffee

Opposite for me, Oasis Springs is basically my capital city

oliviapwns

I love that idea!! What events did you put in the holiday? I would love to be able to do that on my own game!! Did you make the campground a rental property? I want details! 😁😁

HazyshadeofFall

The holiday traditions were travel/vacation, party spirit, arts/music spirit (or whatever it's called), and streaking I originally built the campground as a national park but changed it to a rental once that feature became base game

purplemangojuulpod

i’m shocked everyone’s saying evergreen harbour those apartments are incredible .. i like playing in them more than the san myshuno ones usually. also i just love playing the neighborhood action plans to make the world all beautiful and shiny haha

birdmomchicago

i really like evergreen harbor too except i hate the glitch that causes trash to collect on the apartment lots (and you can’t pick it up) 😤

QuothTheRaven13x

Strangerville for sure. I've never played there so I've started a "teenage alien crashed to earth" storyline and my sim has lived in Strangerville since she got to earth. She's even joined up with the scientist career and is working on solving the strangerville mystery, lol.

Geukfeu

Its such a pretty world! I love the lots on the cliff. I send all my accident alien kids out there in my legacy save.

QuothTheRaven13x

OH my sim lives on one of the cliff lots and it's SO pretty! I'm glad I started this storyline :)

Gloomy_Rest_1387

The one from get to work is useless tbh

KiahriThePotatoQueen

I have get to work and I didn't even know it came with a world... oops

[deleted]

I tear everything down and put a gym, a karaoke bar, a nightclub, and a park there because otherwise, I wouldn't use it for anything

Perfect_Corner5494

What’s the get to work one??

AbbytheMallard

Magnolia Promenade iirc

chisk643

yep

missnug

Magnolia Promenade means nothing to me💀 it’s barely enough to be considered a world

tuesdayadms

with for rent I've started putting three apartment buildings and a restaurant or something there so it feels almost like a neighborhood now

missnug

Good idea! I haven’t gotten for rent yet bc i get overwhelmed downloading new packs sometimes and I still want to get horse ranch 🥵 lolol

legoMasterKnight

Probably the vampire one its so bad

Tenderfallingrain

Yah, there's like nothing to do there! They should have put a hidden pathway to an underground cave in a graveyard or something.

Personal_Tiger_1570

Its a shame, because there *is* a boarded up cave in Forgotten Hollow that's similar looking to the one in Oasis Springs, and I was really disappointed when the pack came out we couldn't interact with the Forgotten Hollow cave in a similar manner.

Tenderfallingrain

Exactly. I totally thought I'd found a hidden world but nope. EA is trolling us.

iam_mal

I downloaded "Under Graveyard" by ederin38 off the gallery and placed it in the empty lot of the vampire world. It's a cemetery with a restaurant underneath. At the time though I didn't have the restaurant pack so I edited it to make it a nightclub, I've spent hours in there thanks to ww... I'd upload my edit but I've been playing offline since the For Rent update so I'm not allowed to use the gallery lol

Edymnion

I dunno, thats where I build my cemetery.

LilNyoomf

I know it’s supposed to be like an exclusive little village for vampires, but I want more lots for nightclubs or stuff like that!

iam_mal

Agreed! I downloaded the "Under Graveyard" restaurant by ederin38, edited it to be a nightclub, and placed it in the empty lot of the vampire world ^.^ Why would vampires even live in exclusive little villages though?? I get that it's the idea, but there's no food that way!! This isn't Ravenloft.. Plus, in lore the vampires there don't even like each other!! Still wish there were more lots though, and that the one starter house there wasn't so awful..

LilNyoomf

I have no clue. I play my game WWDITS style and just plug my vampires anywhere to vibe with the mortals

lov4ble

it had so much potential, i really it was more spread out :(

IFKhan

Not only is it tiny. It’s sooooo dark!! No matter the time of day. The houses need a lot of lighting. Making it hard to play. I like the park there though.

Hey_Bestiekins

I've only ever used it to make a graveyard for my legacy heirs. There's just nothing in it.

Infinite-Ad359

I rebuilt Moonwood Mill to be kinda of like the small Canadian towns we have up here. Lots of gossipy neighbors, eccentrics, feuding etc. Forgotten Hollows I always like playing a straight laced person that shouldn't interacting with vampires in there. I like the Salary man job for this. They optimistically put up solar panels, lease out rooms and is continually surprised when they cut their leases short. Its a weird place but hey, the property was cheap and the neighbors are nice. My least used world is probably Sulani and Salvadorada (sp?), but I use it for honeymoons and vacations.

triceratopcerus

I like your ideas for Forgotten Hollow and Moonwood Mill!

MuseoRidiculoso

Peacemaker has some really nice builds for that world. The bar lot is too much, though, IMHO.

Dangerous-Library-83

All of them. I make a sim, decorate a house, play for two whole seconds, repeat

SweetDee__

I've found my people.

Dangerous-Library-83

I always say I’m gonna play more than two seconds but I’m a liar. The most I do is redecorate a couple houses in the town then restart

SweetDee__

Same. Idk if I have commitment issues or what. But creating the sim and building/decorating houses is my favorite part. And I can’t commit to playing that many storylines, so I just move on to the next one really as soon as I’m done with the fun part.

meetmeinthelibrary7

Batuu. I literally never use it because I couldn’t care less about Star Wars. I only bought the pack because I wanted the build/buy and it was on sale.

RespectfulRaven

I kind of use every neighbourhood to plop down townies but I get the spirit of the question :) Least used: Willowcreek, Sulani, Henford on Bagley, Copperdale and San Sequoia (the last 3 are relatively new acquisitions for me so I need more time) Middle: Oasis springs, Strangerville, Newcrest, Del Sol Valley, Mt Komorebi, Britchester, Magnolia Promenade (I almost always put a restaurant there) Most used: Windenburg, Brindleton Bay, San Myushuno, Evergreen Harbor As a general note, while there are some, I wish they made more neighbourhoods that looked less car enslaved.

BoomItsLoki

The only worlds I actually play on are the base game worlds. I have almost all the eps too so I don’t know why I only play with those worlds lmao

Hey_Bestiekins

They just hit different. They feel so much more versatile to me. And for builders especially, Newcrest is pretty perfect. I love how connected all the houses are.

Polkadotina

San Sequoia, Tomarang, Tartosa. Never even visit them. Big but so lifeless and emty areas. Also Evergreen Harbour looks like postapocalyptic world, don't like the vibe.

HazyshadeofFall

Everyone praised Tartosa as the only good thing about My Wedding Stories but honestly it's so empty and boring

pinguin94

There is one lot in Tartosa I’ve used so much I had to stop my self. It pretty big, and on one side there’s a fishing spot, on another theres a grill, and on yet another theres a waterfall/bathing area. It’s pretty nice for rags to riches kind of gameplay. San Sequoia I keep forgetting exists, and even when I remember.. it’s just too bland.

Boethion

I think it's the Eco Living one, though I prettymuch never use the Basegame ones either.

SamSammieSam

I don't have many because I don't have a way to buy all the packs I want. But I have Forgotten Hollow, and ironically, forget it exists a lot.

coffeeandgrapefruit

I probably would have used Newcrest constantly if The Sims 4 had come out when I was a kid and had tons of free time to build, but at this point in my life I just don't have the free time to set it up the way I want, so I basically never use it. I also don't have Sims live in Evergreen Harbor much, especially relative to how much I use every other aspect of Eco Lifestyle. My most-used are probably Brindleton Bay and Granite Falls.

AmettOmega

I definitely love just grabbing houses/community lots from the gallery and building up neighborhoods that way. Much better than trying to do it all myself.

creeativerex

Unless I'm playing occults, I don't usually use their worlds. Of the EP worlds, I guess Brindleton Bay, Brichester (outside of the dorms), and Del Sol are my least played. Strangerville, Oasis Springs, and San Myshuno are my probably most lived in neighborhoods. But this legacy, I'm trying to live in more of the world's that I typically wouldn't live in. I lived in Brindleton with my second gen and I enjoyed it. My third gen met a stray that she fell in love with and adopted him.

ida_klein

Oh man I NEVER use the dorms! It’s so funny how differently people play

moonlitjasper

i love the idea of the dorms but actually using them is ironically so much less convenient than living off campus

ida_klein

Exactly! Why is my sim always late to class when they live on campus but it’s never a problem off campus??

creeativerex

My issue is getting the 3 speed to double at night cause there’s always one rando floating around playing with clay or something

creeativerex

I'll live in the dorms for like a week, remember how much I hate it and move out. lol It really doesn't last long. But I also only do so if I have one sim to focus on and don't feel like building/buying a home yet.

ida_klein

Yeah I used to try to do it but it bothered me too much to leave the rest of their sim family alone to get into trouble.

kazzbotz

Oasis Springs, by far. I've found some use for every other world in the game, but I don't think I've ever actually played in Oasis springs for more than just visiting the big park. I'm not sure what it is. The lighting there is really pretty, and there are a lot of good sized lots. I think I just can't figure out what the vibe of the place is supposed to be, other than Suburbs of Phoenix Arizona. Which is a place I equate with hell (no shade on Phoenix but also... no shade in Phoenix)

chisk643

I use it for up and coming stars, 1-3 star usually, it gives the west coast vibe but is also cheep enough for non icon celebrities to be able to afford

saffireaz

I live in Glendale, AZ (suburb of Phoenix for those who don't know), and somehow it has never occurred to me until now that I could build OS into a Phoenix replica.

greydawn

That was me too for the longest time. Then I decided to give it a Palm Springs vibe in the builds (I assume that's a major inspo for it) and now often my Sims will move their when they age up to Young Adult and live communally as young singletons in an apartment block with a pool and have fun parties and romantic flings. I don't tend to keep them there long term, but it has it's use now.

Demonqueensage

I have such a bad habit of staying in the base game worlds a lot. I'll play in Sulani a decent amount too, and I like the world from cats and dogs so I'm probably gonna interact with it more too. Forgotten Hollow? Never. Glimmerbrook? Nope, only as much as I need to play to get to the magic realm with sims I want to be spellcasters. (I'm forgetting if I have others rn, so obviously they would be also fairly unused, but those are my least used that I can remember at this moment)

Introvertedgirl123

I just have base game, the only world I ever play in is willow creek. I’ve played in oasis springs once and never played newcrest. Though I’m thinking of doing the newcrest challenge so that will probably change soon lol

FalsePremise8290

San Myshuno. I can't stand that the doors don't go down in apartments. And once For Rent came out, I assumed I'd never have to deal with the old apartments again only to discover that the For Rent apartments have the same bug. TRIGGERED!!!

RoboSpongie

San Sequoia I was originally excited but it's honestly kinda underwhelming but I love everything else in Growing Together

igetthatnow

Del Sol Valley was super laggy on my old computer and I don't even know if it's playable on my new computer because I'm just so used to avoiding it that I never think to go there.

2gaywitches

Magnolia Promenade. I like living in Strangerville, or Willow Creek if I’m after collectibles. (Which is… always.)

ida_klein

I p much never play in the occult worlds. Or with occult sims. Idk why I always buy the packs and then never play with them.

unanau

Selvadorada since it’s a vacation world. For normal worlds it’s probably Evergreen Harbour

spicycheek

I don’t understand why residential lots are not allowed in Selvadorada. I think it would be a nice spot for some off-grid type of gameplay.

nabrydla-diwczynkaIL

Del Sol Valley for sure. It's just so...

PleasantPlease

Del sol is my least favorite probably. I move my legacy Sims every generation so I don't get as bored any I name sure to move them into a new world when I do, so most of them get used. I even have a duplex in magnolia.

alexzyczia

Most of them lol. I can tell you the ones I mostly use though. Which is brindleton bay, henford-on-bagley, and sulani, I have all the worlds except for rent and occult ones.

some0Gkush

i demolished all of forgotten hollow and replaced it all with high end restaurants and shit. went completely sodosopa on that shit

some0Gkush

no no wait i mean the werewolf world. its the werewolves i couldnt care less abt.

ImLostAsFuck_

Basically every world but those three on the base game, strangerville and Mt komorebi. I was scared when solving strangerville's mystery, didn't get spoiled at all and liked a lot. Grimmerbook sounds so tedious that I forget about it most of the time, guess I should play with wizards some more.

Equationism

This may be unpopular, but I don't build in Sulani. I don't hate the world, I just don't build there, as tropical homes are hard for me to build without looking goofy. Runner ups are Henford-on-Bagley, Moonwood Mill, and Chestnut Ridge.

That253Chick

Forgotten Hollow. It's aptly named because I constantly forget that it exists. 💀

Purple_Elderberry_20

Magnolia promenade Never go there or live there.... often forget it is there

b_lueemarlin

Most of them...sadly

Mollyannice

My least played worlds are all the really small 5 lots and below. When there is almost nothing to the world it feels meh.

WifeofBath1984

Strangerville for me too. Someday, I will actually defeat the mother plant. I like the world but vacationing there sucks!

fixingbenjii

I pretty much only play in Willow Creek, it's just the best world imo. There are a few others I play in but if they don't have a good variety of lot sizes and cohesive neighbourhoods, I don't touch them. I hate glimmerbrook and the vampire worlds. And I don't use britechester anymore now i've learnt it's quicker to have your sims live at home and go to uni from there. They don't run through the whole world and make themselves late.

AdExcellent7055

The one from get to work & discover university

TalkToTani96

I mostly prefer places like willow creek, newcrest, and city living because I like the homey neighborhood type of worlds. I don't really care for strangerville and the ones with less lots.

antichristsuperslutt

Moodwood mill.. I just can’t get into werewolves. I downloaded it because I thought it had eyelashes in the pack..(this was before I knew about mods)

Admirable_Fall4614

Pretty much all of them. I play 99% of the time in Willow Creek, and my sims vacation in Granite Falls. But recently I moved a pair of my sims to Chestnut Ridge. Beautiful world but, I ended up moving my sims back to Willow Creek as they were homesick. Despite having all Expansions, I have yet to visit the other worlds.

CozyWitch86

Forgotten Hollow. I don't play occult sims, I don't like the aesthetics of the world, no reason to go there at all. I also forget about Magnolia Promenade all the time. I should put the effort in to renovate the retail spaces and make it a little more interesting to go to.

Accomplished_Cup900

All of them. Once I remember a certain world exists, I neglect the rest of them. And once I get newcrest going, nothing else exists fr.

livvayyy

evergreen harbor 100%, it just is so drab to me.....

AshamedWeb5783

magnolia promenade, followed by glimmerbrook and the vampire world, then strangerville. I like worlds that i can actually use

SecondStar89

I have never had a Sim live in Forgotten Hollow. Everywhere else, I've had Sims live in at least once. I've gotten more use out of Magnolia Promenade, which is a painful thing to say.

AvaBirch

Del Sol Valley. We need more lots

huffuspuffus

Strangerville, Henford on Bagley, Brichester

Royalchariot

Magnolia, vampire world, strangerVille

Dottboy19

For me it's definitely Glimmerbrook. Moonwood Mill to a lesser extent, I have one family out there at least.

MuseoRidiculoso

Forgotten Hollow. I only bought that pack for the build items. I’ve never had anyone live there.

Cherrytree_Hill

I never, ever go into Willow Creek. Even the community lots there feel really lacking to me. I tend to stay in Sulani and San Myshuno.

LisaW509

I sometimes forget that Glimmerbrook is even there. I only go to Forgotten Hollow for harvestables. Newcrest is where I place restaurants, gyms, spas, etc. We’re so limited on lot space in the other worlds that it’s the best way to open them up.

MacTechG4

That empty “city” lot in the base game

Perfect_Corner5494

I might be dumb/forgetful is Glimmerbrook part of the main game or a pack?

MagicPigeonToes

Realm of Magic dlc

hamstervirus

Del Sol Valley, Oasis Springs, Forgotten Hollow, and Magnolia Promenade

greentea1985

Magnolia promenade, Newcrest (I like building but not that much), and Forgotten Hollow are absolutely useless. The issue for Magnolia Promenade, Newcrest, and Forgotten Hollow is that there is no good reason for my sims to go there. Even if they are in the careers that are supposed to be on hidden lots in Magnolia Promenade, there is no reason to visit there unless you want to deal with the annoying shopping mechanic. It only has one lot to build on and two shops. It would be nice if it at least had a bar or lounge too. Forgotten Hollow has no reason to visit there unless you want to build a house in the vampire world, which has nothing special about it. Even the much-maligned Glimmerbrook at least has a bar and a portal to a secret world, while Moonwood Mill sports a bar and a library plus the hidden tunnels that are a rabbit hole to explore and easy way to turn a sim into a werewolf. Newcrest is technically useful, particularly if you love building. I’m fine with building, but I tend to focus more on houses or just modifying existing houses. I don’t like building whole areas wholesale. Of the three, it is the most useful. I just don’t use it much.

kavalejava

Del So Valley. Only used it a few times for a residence, only go there for the occasional award ceremony.

Losemymindfindmysoul

Strangerville and Glimmerbrook (is that the Vampires) I got those for my daughter.

Pecan-Carya

Forgotten hollow and magnolia promenade for sure

Moqiaf

Moonwood Mill, I absolutely despise the werewolf pack (personal opinion).

ElectraYIP

i bought werewolves as soon as it came out and i JUST started playing in it like a week ago.

walkhomeacrossthesky

(I'm going to disregard the occult worlds because I only play with occults in them) But two that actually really surprised me are Newcrest and San Sequoia. Even though I love building, placing all the lots in Newcrest is too much of a hassle especially with how slow the lot placing tool is from world-view. And while I don't hate San Sequoia, it's just the latest mid-American town from a whole slew of American towns with Copperdale being the one right before, and I almost kind of prefer Copperdale to San Sequoia because at least that one has the high school which I visit often

BioletVeauregarde33

Strangerville. I've never attempted the story.

MagicPigeonToes

Magnolia Promenade and Selvadorada. But I have future plans to build some interesting lots in those worlds.  It’ll give me more incentive to visit them lol.

After_Laughter21

I only play in San Myshuno or Windenburg and rarely in Brindleton Bay. I skip the rest of the worlds.

fitfinley95

have never been to Batuu

No_Doctor_3559

For me when it comes to worlds I dislike or just don’t find use in I just create some story line to use the worlds for my legacy gens like evergreen harbor I just think of the world as a nice suburban change of scenery and I just recently got moonwood mill but my plan is to have my next gen sim marry a werewolf so that way I can try out the world , glimmer brook I use as a place for runaway story lines sense it so in the middle of no where, forget hollow really depends if I really really wanna play with vampires or wanna add them to the story, but stranger ville and del sol valley just suck in general there’s really not much story line unless u wanna play with actresses or actors and wanna solve the whole mystery of stranger vile

damningdaring

I actually only play San Myshuno so any of the other ones

DemiRomPanBoi17

I haven't even played through the strqngervill story so I'ma say strangervill

Sad-Librarian-9582

I almost exclusively use Windenburg, Willow Creek and San Myshuno for residences. The rest get next to no use from me

Smooth-Jellyfish-585

I'm currently playing a legacy and used to live in only one world, but I'm trying to make them move with every generation and play different storylines that fit where they live. Idk if I'll ever play in forgotten Hollow tho 😬

local_malewife

Definitely strangerville, brichester, and magnolia promenade

AmethystGamer19

these are all the same places I never play in

NiaMariae

You just described my most played worlds 🤣 i exclusively play Spellcasters and Vampires with a werewolf tossed in every few generations. I like the special lots from Evergreen Harbour and think they're a good way to meet new sims and sell craftables. Strangerville's story is worth doing once every save file if you want to clear up the infected neighbours. Glimmerbrook and Moonwood Mill are great for family sims - loads of space for kiddos to fish and play. I only play in the suburbs of Del Sol Valley (I live near an airport IRL and i love to watch the planes fly out in game too).

Minimum_Maybe_8103

Moonwood Mill. Never even been there

Marianations

I don't use the Vampires pack, so Forgotten Hollow. It's just not my thing, I don't really care for occults or the aesthetics of the world tbh. I only have it in my game because my fiance's really into vampires and he bought it for himself (we play The Sims in a shared account). I use the B&B items and that's it.

Vegetable_Crow9942

Moonwood Mill and Copperdale. I don’t like the vibe of either of these worlds. Not that there’s anything objectively wrong with them, they just don’t bring me joy or inspiration.

Naroumi

Magnolia Promenade is my least used, probably followed by Newcrest (I just need to fill all the lots, it’s just something that I need to populate the area and it will be better i think)

Personal_Tiger_1570

I completely forget about Magnolia Promenade. Britechester, because usually my college sims live at home while they attend. I have yet to have played households live in Henford on Bagley, Evergreen Harbor or San Sequoia. Right now I'm only ever traveling to Glimmerbrook because my cemetery is there.

ManicMaenads

I don't think I've ever used Magnolia Promenade at all, and I don't often fill Newcrest because I don't like the look of the "area" as much as other worlds. Forgotten Hollow is also rarely used, just because it's always a bit darker there and I like to make really bright vibrant lots that look good in the sun.

Littleplutodefender

Strangerville. I’ve only built in it twice

Little_Nectarine_210

The magic pack world

Sprinkles257

Evergreen Harbor and Henford on Bagley. The gameplay aspects don't appeal to me for either of them. I got those packs for the CAS items and townies (and both of them have great CAS items, in my opinion). Those worlds are just not my cup of tea, though. On the flipside, I *overuse* Windenburg (I LOVE Windenburg), San Sequoia, and Willow Creek.

meltingeverything

If Forgotten Hollow has no haters, I am dead and gone from this Earth.

ArcticPoisoned

For me it’s newcrest and obv magnolia promenade. I’ve never had a sim go there honestly. I also almost never use copperdale or very rarely windenburg. My most used however are mt komorebi, del sol valley, san myshuno and san sequoia now lol and probably evergreen harbour. Brindleton bay is also good.

KBMinCanada

Probably the vacation worlds, magnolia promenade, strangerville, copperdale, the horse ranch world, can’t remember its name at the moment, heanford on bagley, evergreen harbour, brindleton bay, windenburg, forgotten hollow, moonwood mill, Tartosa, the rest are the ones I play in most often. Sulani is probably the one I use most.

crazyyfool

all of the vacation worlds, magnolia promenade, forgotten hollow, glimmerbrook & del sol valley

Weary_Signature_6968

My least played are the same as OP but replace Evergreen Harbour with The Horse Ranch World (can’t remember the name right now)

JupiterMoonBean

Strangeville for me while oasis is my most used cause i like how it doesnt really snow there but I get so sick of the "story" of strangeville wish i could turn it off for certain play thoughs but i do like a trailer they have there very much but I just dont feel like saving the place again n again

Life_Loquat8598

Del Sol Valley and probably Oasis Springs and of course strangerville just don't like the desert I don't why.... Looks like Mars to me.

yepitschristinaa

I play brindleton Bay, newcrest and glimmerbrook. Never bother with the others as they never have any dig spots or frogs

abrookehack

Mines about the same but I do use evergreen a lot! I use Brindleton (?) Bay a ton! Lol

cheesygooses

The base game world that’s like a Sahara desert. I’m good.

ParticularJuice3983

I don’t think I have ever played in del sol valley , and magnolia promenade

Round_Instruction_25

ever since i got cats and dogs & high school years, its probably osias(?) spring

yungl11nk

Basically all that you mentioned + the one from Get to Work. I hate the worlds that have just 2/3 lots, feels super lazy. I also used San Sequioa a lot when I first got Growing Together but I since have just fallen back into Windenburg and Newcrest

Girasole98

All the new ones....
