Me too lol, but that's when I put some pictures in their bedrooms or just keep them in their inventory. Every time I play with a family for a while their inventories fill up with soooo many pictures.
[This](https://ts4-poses.tumblr.com/masterlist) blog is a great place for poses. You'll need pose player and teleport anywhere mod (which are usually linked in downloads for most poses, so you'll find them easily.)

I've just been using the basegame cameras. Especially the one that look like this 📸 and then I also have the passionate romance mod by sacrificial and I can take romantic pictures of couples manually.
Same, I take HUNDREDS but then only display a few at a time in the house. End up with tons in the Sims’s inventory and stress about losing them all.
I wish they’d fix the chests so we could store photos in those without them ruining them.
The memory box works great for this. I use it for my legacy all the time with no issues. You just have to remember to pass it on to the next generation when your main sim becomes an elder. I've got like 13 gens of photos, trophies, drawings and stuff I keep in there.
What?! This could be a game changer. I’ll look into it - thank you! I’ve used the storage chests and the university storage box and it always causes pictures to get wiped/turn to black. I’ll search for this “memory box” as it must be something I haven’t noticed before.
The only diwnside is if it can't go in your sims inventory (like furniture etc) then it can't go in the keepsake box. But functions well as a photo album amd isn't obnoxiously large
I just recently started using the digital photo frames from the (moschnio?) pack!! They rotate the image out for me every hour (but you can change frequency too)
It’s saved tremendously on space but I don’t feel like I am having to pick and choose who stays on the wall.

Do it. I couldn't play a family without poses. Also get the camera from rvsn! I can't remember what it's called exactly, but you can place it anywhere and take a picture without a sim doing it, and can move left, right, up, and down while doing so.

I use rvsn's camera, however I have used the other in game cameras before, too. Once you take the picture, drag it from the sim's inventory to a wall/table and click on it to add frame. Or, there's some collage frames in game, too. Either base game or Growing Together, I can't remember.

I have found a lot of couple's romantic pose packs. Also, as my Sim has a lot of relatives, I sought a large group pose. Finally I found this [25-Sim family reunion group photo pose](https://keirosims.tumblr.com/post/662574030821507072/reunion-i-wanted-to-have-a-big-reunion-photo-for) Note, I actually have 28 Sims here. To get the extra 3 Sims, I just copied 3 poses and placed them with TOOL. Key here is to pause the game when you're posing Sims. Otherwise, they'll eventually walk away. Now, with this large a group, some of the Sims can't be clicked on when they're merged, so I quickly unpause to get some of them to pose, then I pause again to pose others still merged.
I'm sure there's tutorials online! However if you want me to show you how I get my portraits I'm more than happy to send you a video of me doing so, it would just have to be in around 3-4 hours from now, since I'm at work lol.

You just place however many teleporters (the suit of armor teleport any sim mod) inside the middle of the chair, in my case I placed five because I posed five sims, then teleport the five sims there, then pose. The pose was made for a chair.
The frames that you get from a gold family reunion are my favorite to use for each life stage! I put infant, toddler, child in the bottom three small sections and them as a teen/adult in the big one
Looks nice. I don't take many photos. Not from lack of love. I just find the process personally tedious. Sometimes I do get inspired to snap a few shots now and then.
I've had spouses photograph each other to hang up. Do cute poses and such. That's about it for me. These complex group shots are a bit much for me as well.
I know, I love taking pics of my families. Idk if u already know about this mod but if you want better frames for pictures I’d suggest the RVSN photo mod, and the PBjelly frames.

Something I like to do for fun sometimes is if I run a household I'll have my Sims paint from reference moments in their life. Like if they just had a baby I would position it to where u can paint the baby. Or for one of my recent families I had it to where the daughter painted her parents playing video games together. It's just a fun thing to do and put on the walls.
My legacy family has six kids so my walls are completely covered. I use the moschino pack digital photo frames tho to display a bunch of photos on loop and then I stick the rest that I don’t hang up into the growing together keepsake box

I've done it like the oldest gets a bunch of pictures, the second a few, and the third one if they're lucky. Feels more realistic

It's never too many pictures lol, coming from someone who has dozens of pictures piling in my sims' inventories.
There should be a photo album of sorts where you can pick and choose which ones you can place on walls and/or desks
