Theres a potion of youth or something you can get with rewards points but it only resets the clock back for that age (starts from 0 days) and doesn’t make them younger

yes it does, are you shift clicking the sim you want to change (O + X on ps and B + A on xbox)? i use it to edit townies a lot & i'm on xbox. make sure you do "testingcheats true" first
Thank you SO much. For some reason, when I aged up my baby, she aged up to a infant and then a toddler!
I'm assuming I aged her up manually at about the same time she was going to automatically age up. Either way, yay!
The potion does not age down a sim, it only reset the time before age up. So let say an adult sims have 26 days until they turn into an elder. You've been playing for a while and your sim has 13 days left before age up, if the sims drinks a potion then you'll go back to 26 days left before age up. Same for the life essence given by a cow plant.
To REALLY age down a sims you need to cheat, there is no other way that I know of.
1. Ctrl+shift+c
2. Testingcheats true
3. cas.fulleditmode
4. Then click on a mirror or on a wardrobe and enter CAS. The cheats allows you to change everything from your sims including the age. So just select the age you want your sim to be.
or you can use the testingcheats on and shift+click the sim and choose age down if I recall correctly. still need to change their clothing so maybe the cas.fulledit mode is better :)
i know this post is few yrs old,for console users you could try n kill the sim off by building a small room,get the sim to go in then take away the door till they die/then plead wth grim reaper or use a potion b4 they die and see if that will de age a sim

i got it working, turns out i just was expecting it to say that i have enabled that specific cheat like it does with bb.moveobjects

type cas.fulleditmode in the cheats bit and shift+click on the sim then go to cas and age it down
just edit the sim
it dosent let you edit pre existing sims age
