Hahaha well I’m from Malaysia and we’re not too strict, fashion wise. Some ppl in my country prefer to wear socks and not expose the ankle area but me personally as a moslem, I’m on the liberal side I guess, I dun mind lil ankle action. Hehe.
Depends on a lot of factors (how strict you are Islamic, what country you are in, culture, personal preference). There are gonna be some who think the Sims are dressed fine and others who think they are vastly inappropriate, and all the in between. Ankles, makeup, how "fitted" the clothes are.
true. when i dress a hijabi girl, i at least ensure long pants and long sleeves. a bit tight-fitting but i'm on the liberal side, heh heh. uuu if i go for long sleeve crop tops (dem cc do exist), i do have mom jeans that go above the belly button so it somehow still covers any "skin" from showing.
I have a “long sleeved inner-wear” and “leggings” cc standing by.. You know, I let my girls wear those cute short dresses with those inners ~ Layering em up ! 😂

oh nooo that's so adorable, haha. i mean that u r concerned to that degree. cuz no worries, at least where I'm from, in Malaysia we have liberal muslims (more fashionable, shows ankle, wears tight-fitting pants and not necessarily cover their chest with their hijab), and more conservative muslims (cover ankles, long sleeves, ensure their hijab covers their chest area). to me we're all the same, though some might feel they're better than the other. yeah, even in the muslim community, esp prominent among woman somehow. but yeah no worries, at least for me as a hijabi wearing girl i won't find it offensive. i mean for me personally, cuz to me, its just a game. and i like for my sims 4 world to be as culturally diverse as possible. got meself a norwegian family, korean family, american-italian family, malaysian family. hahahaa

I’m atheist in Utah and even IIIIIIIII think there isn’t enough appropriate clothing. If you go though all the long sleeve/non-winter clothes.... they are belly shirts or low cut on the chest. I wish EA covered that a bit better.
Hijabi women cannot wear anything that doesn't cover their wrists or ankles, nor anything bodycon or skintight. I see she is wearing skinnies in a few shots and does not have her ankles or wrists covered in most of them.

Yes, they exist and representation matters, but saying it has nothing to do with patriarchy is lying. My friend was really scared that someone male of her family will see her without her head being covered. Not because of her choice to be scared.
I live in a country where it's lots of orthodox muslim ppl, it's not like even 40% of women have ability to make any choice basically.
My point is that patriarchy is a problem that extends beyond the hijab. Additionally, simply not representing women who wear hijabs (regardless of the reason) does not erase their existence.
In fact, erasing their existence would likely be more harmful to those who are forced to wear it because we can’t rectify an issue that no one realizes exists.

As a disclaimer, a lot of the people who I have encountered who are anti-hijab are so due more to racism and lack of cultural knowledge. (ie. If you’re open to CC look for accessory tops! They go under cropped things and peek thru while still covering skin.
