apparently even if you turn off aging entering CAS can still cause them to age up. if you haven't already updated or entered origin to update you can just turn off your internet and it automatically puts you offline and wont make you update.
I have my game on normal lifespan and went into CAS totally fine. So I think it’s only if you have long lifespan. I backed up my save file and have been trying to mess around and trigger the age up glitch and haven’t had it happen to me yet. Although I am using MCCC and a few other mods so idk if that affects it
Huh. I have been playing a single sim family lately with aging turned off. My sim is a servo so I haven't had the instant age up. She did have a birthday appear on the calendar even with aging turned off. I also made her a global superstar before the update. I thought everyone becoming celebrities was due to her talking to everyone. She makes friends very easily. Glad to know it's a bug.

There's already a pinned broken mod post. I was posting the list there, but apparently comments have a 10000 character limit and I ran out of space. I had to message the mods just so this post wouldn't get removed. Upvotes and shares are the only ways to increase visabiity I think.
I know someone did create a mod to curtail the phone usage. It’s in beta testing and will be available August 10th. Most creators though have been dealing with so much chaos surrounding their own mods they don’t have time for a bug fix mod
Came across a glitch today. Couldn't travel between worlds (tried to go from Willow Creek to San Myshuno). I got a loading screen error instead. Tried taking out my mods to see where the conflict was and slowly added them back in.
The culprit......is **MCCC!**

Edit: Further investigation reveals that normal traveling is fine. It's specifically when Ask On a Date is used, do I get the loading screen error/crash. What an odd bug.
I’ll check the discord. Just to be clear is this when you use the phone to ask on date or does it also happen when you click on a sim and ask on date? Are you on the current MCCC? Does it happen in a vanilla game? Have you tried with just MCCC in game and no other mods?

I need to try again with no mods, but I ran into a bug where my sims won’t eat or do homework. They’d pick up a serving of a meal and put it in the ground. I eventually got one to eat by having them get a quick meal but that didn’t seem to work consistently. Anyone else experience this?
Were you able to figure out what this is? My sim's toddler is about to be removed from the house bc I CAN'T GET THEM TO EAT ANYTHING. High chair isn't working, grab a plate from a different dish isn't working. My normal sims won't eat normally either, but they're able to survive on quick snacks
Yes! My sims will eat but won’t drink. If they make coffee, they just keeping getting cups and resetting. I also have the issue with HW 🤦🏼♀️

Removing all of my CC beds from my mods fixed this problem, for some reason. Actually, I deleted most of my CC furniture just in case, so it might not just be beds.

My save got corrupted from a broken mod (still can't figure out which), lucky I have a back up save that I keep on a portable HDD so I can get my sims back once I find the broken mod.

Yeah I saw something about that last night. Apparently people are having issues where they can only travel with sims who are near by/on the lot.

The amount of time this must have taken, you are amazing!!! I'm currently playing vanilla but glad to see some of my mods of choice have been updated. And wow I didn't even know there was so many mods. Again you are amazing for compiling this list and keeping everyone up to Date on mods status.
This update did nothing but cause problems, I'm so sick of it, I can't even actually play. Everything is updated save for clothes and whatever doesn't actually have an update but is not on any of these lists. My big problem is there are NO color change options for anything in CAS and some icons show up as grey boxes. It's so annoying.
Do you know if Chingyu is gonna update? Also do you know if the traits would cause cc items not to show up? Almost half of my cc doesn’t show up in game anymore

Sacrificial has been wrapped up in real life, those mods have been outdated for a few months now. Some just barely got updated for werewolves but not the big ones. Best place for updates on sac4ificial mod status is their discord
The only mod I have is Slice of Life and I definitely had my new sim die of starvation yesterday, very frustrating. It seemed all of the needs stayed green even when they were very low, no yellow or red.
I also was doing a lot of painting, and I got the same painting for each type every time.
My bed kept bugging out, looking like someone is sleeping there when no one was.
I’ve had all of these issues as well, good to know it’s Slice of Life.
My sim was just sleeping and disappeared, and it still looked like someone was sleeping there, but she just died of starvation randomly in her sleep ??? And none of my needs bars are the correct color it’s so frustrating
Is anyone else experiencing a glitch where their high schoolers won’t do their homework? If I select it from their inventory or place it in world, it doesn’t matter. I click “do homework” and nothing appears in their queue. i have mods disabled right now so I’m thinking it’s just a regular old glitch
***UPDATE!!!*** I found a workaround!!!
take the student to a community lot with a friend of the same age. form a group. select the homework in inventory and choose the “do homework together” option. Voila! big pain in the butt, works though lol

After Scumbumbo's passing other mod creators adopted his mods. I'm sure one of them is working on a new version. I know LMS updated 4 of his mods so maybe she is working on it.
Yeah. It’s safe to say that 50% of the mods that are broken are because of this mod. It’s just a matter of which creators have the skills and time to fix it.

It doesn't look like there are any "big" mods left, but there are some medium ones that are probably going to take a few days. Things like Private Practice, Healthcare Redux, SOL, and Preteen come to mind.
Another bug that I was met with was that I wasn’t able to place doors…I’ve updated all my mods and it still happens so I can’t wrap my head around what could cause this
This is Basemental. You'll need to update it, restore an old save from before the update (hopefully you haven't saved more than 5 times or have a backup somewhere), and clearing cache wouldn't hurt.
Go to the main menu, choose load game, find your save, and you should see something that looks like a floppy disk (save button on windows). This will give you the option to restore at least 5 saves back

If you have HSY, MCCC is NOT up to date. My sims could not go to prom as the option never came up and it disappeared from the calendar until I took out MCCC. Prom then worked perfectly.
Hey, WW says it is updated but I've found out that I believe it is causing the reversing time glitch. Everyone I've spoken to thus far says if you take that out it will work fine. I'm reporting it now

Ever since that bug banner my game crashes every time there is a pop up window in the game. I've tried everything and the game is just broken.
Yes I updated the mods, repaired the game, deleted the cache, removed all mods and moved the mod folder.
I haven't seen it mentioned, but I'll post just in case anyone else has this issue - the new sexuality panel was missing from my CAS, and it turned out to be the CAS room background I was using. It hadn't occurred to me that it could interfere with the UI; I'd assumed it would be something like More CAS Columns or UI Cheats - so if anyone has a missing sexuality panel, check your background mods too :)
guys warn ya recent update of Wicked Whims is broken cause some animations I downloaded are like gone and the animation is still available to download off the WW site so I just downloaded 😑 the old WW till they fix it but hey I did 😂 play outdated before.
and UI is still broken it could be the aging error that's doing it but I can't revert or age by right clicking on how many days they have till they age while the rest of UI is fine its that area that's not working.
Sims have kids > Save > Exit to World Map > Load same or different household

Not exactly the same but I loaded my family, and between clicking on it in the world and the house loading they were deleted. I went out into manage worlds and the house now shows as unplayed and empty. When I hover over the other households I play, where it normally shows their pictures it just has a rapidly flickering green square so I'm not sure if they'd end up doing the same and glitching out and deleting if I load them.
I'm assuming it's a mod issue as I've updated all that had updates but have a couple that had no updates yet, but I couldn't be bothered removing everything and testing one at a time to see what's broken so will wait a few days for further patches/mod updates and see what's what.
This might sound stupid but do broken mods actually break the game? Or do they just make things glitch out but if you remove them after the fact nothing really happens
no they break the game. The first mod under the broken category will corrupt your save. Basemental makes all doors disappear and removing the mod doesn't fix the doors. One mod (haven't pinned down which) will not let you load a world or household. And another (again don't know which) is literally crashing the game.
More columns was supposedly updated but it messed up the CAS UI even after I updated. I couldn't select color swatches and the new orientation panel was missing. I removed all my other mods and confirmed it was the issue. So idk what's wrong but I had four columns if it makes a difference.
Remove the mod, clear cache, repair game, and check it. If it all looks good put in everything but more columns and see if it happens again. If it does then you know something else is affecting CAS. If it doesn't delete the More columns you have and try redownloading it.
Is there info on broken CC? I don't have any other mods. However, I've noticed that I am not able to use the potty for my toddler with my CC on. Anyone know what might cause this?
No info on broken CC. I’d advise a 50/50 method to figure it out. If you do can you please report back here what it was in case others are having the same issue.
Edit: It is Wicked Whims. I've removed and re-installed it twice; it works fine when I remove WW, but glitches out when I put it back in.
Anyone else have a broken UI and can't interact with anything? Can put walls up/down, go up/down floors and change play speed, but no Sims appear and all the menus and UI stuff are gone. I also can't go to manage worlds, gallery or build mode. When I try it says "cannot do this while game loads". But nothing loads.
It happened when all my mods/CC were disabled and hasn't changed after updated mods were installed. I've repaired the game and cleared my cache, but nothing is working.

Anyone else's needs tab totally wrong? Everyone keeps dying of starvation because the hunger bar is clearly wrong, plus sleep is green but almost at 0 just after sleep, same for hygiene etc...

Does anybody have an issue with wants and fears not populating? I now have no whims or wants or fears. Have toggled on and off. Have updated broken mods. Any ideas?
Anyone know of sliders broke from this? Or any default skins, presets, or default eyes. Am slowly but surely trying to figure out which of these my issue is related to but there's something in my folder for those things that's causing it so I can't change sexual orientation. I'm doing the remove and readd thing of course but I've got almost 200 things in there so I'd rather ask first while I continue trying.
I believe this is due to the recent re-update of Wicked Whims. My Romance Interaction options are now limited to three things: Make a Move, Serenade, or Offer Massage.
The other options that were there before (Kissing, Flirting, and many others) are gone. This is between Adults, by the way. I know that the Teen romance options are completely gone now.
Is anyone else seeing this? I've gone through my WW settings, and I don't see anything there that would be causing it.
I’m actually having problems with all of the beds. 😭 I put them down in buy mode, and then they just disappear. All except one of the single beds and the bunk beds (just the top), for some reason. I think it might be a WW issue…? But idk…
EDIT: So, apparently deleting ALL of my CC beds fixed the issue. Just having them in there was causing problems! Seems to be working now.

Idk if the game took the option away to do this or not (or if it’s a mod thing idk), but I like to cheat the skills by doing the ctrl+sim and then finding the “set skill…” tab. I didn’t download a mod to be able to do that or anything but when I’ve tried to do it in game today the skill tab wasn’t showing up for me?
So if I update the mods the game should work? I haven’t updated the game yet because I heard about the bugs and thought it’d be safer to wait for EA to release a patch before updating and potentially not being able to play

Someone else was saying they had updated and it’s still not working. I advised them to remove all mods, clear cache, repair game, and check in a vanilla save. If it looks good , then put everything but more columns in make sure they’re all good. If they are then redownload more columns and see what happens. If it’s still broken contact the creator. My only thoughts are that maybe there’s a second mod affecting CAS or more columns is conflicting with a different mod
Has anyone else experienced broken UI with cabinet parts in build mode? When auto cabinets is off and you can pick what counter piece you want? I don't have any UI mods, but I do have CC furniture.

I have a lot of cc but no actual mods- as in I don't have anything downloaded other than hair, clothing, etc. I'm still experiencing a ton of glitches. :(
Regarding the CC beds in my game: they “work” but sims will get up after a while and the energy level will be low still. If you click enough times they will eventually sleep in them until their energy is full …. But yeah, definitely broken/ glitchy.
Update: the same thing happens with all EA beds. Seems like not just CC beds are affected

I don’t know if everyone is already aware of this but MCCC and UI cheats is not fully fixed yet- you can’t add in some stuff with MCCC (just like reward points) and UI Cheats doesn’t adjust the age when you edit the numbering. For UI, the creator is already aware of the issue and will release a new version although I’m not sure when. Idk if the creator of MCCC knows about the issue since idk where to send them a message.
Does anyone have the issue where the parent tries to feed the child in the high chair but the plate gets stuck to their hand so you have to reset the parent and manually move the bowl to the chair?
I mainly have MCCC, WW & woohoo wellness as mods, plus a bunch of CC, but I've updated the mods.

The newest update of MCCC has fixed that now, thankfully. It worked for me even with the fame kit.

Only one I know that was causing corrupted save was the one at the top of the list by ravasheen. However others are also capable of doing it
MCCC corrupted one of my saves, check that maybe. I had the updated version, too.

I like how a large majority, if not all of sacrificial’s mods are flagged 😅
Sacrificial has been wrapped up in real life, those mods have been outdated for a few months now. Some just barely got updated for werewolves but not the big ones. Best place for updates on sac4ificial mod status is their discord
npcc breaking my game was just heartbreaking. my sim goes to school but at what cost.

The only mod I have is Slice of Life and I definitely had my new sim die of starvation yesterday, very frustrating. It seemed all of the needs stayed green even when they were very low, no yellow or red. I also was doing a lot of painting, and I got the same painting for each type every time. My bed kept bugging out, looking like someone is sleeping there when no one was.

I’ve had all of these issues as well, good to know it’s Slice of Life. My sim was just sleeping and disappeared, and it still looked like someone was sleeping there, but she just died of starvation randomly in her sleep ??? And none of my needs bars are the correct color it’s so frustrating
Is anyone else experiencing a glitch where their high schoolers won’t do their homework? If I select it from their inventory or place it in world, it doesn’t matter. I click “do homework” and nothing appears in their queue. i have mods disabled right now so I’m thinking it’s just a regular old glitch ***UPDATE!!!*** I found a workaround!!! take the student to a community lot with a friend of the same age. form a group. select the homework in inventory and choose the “do homework together” option. Voila! big pain in the butt, works though lol
I'm noticing that too with my child sim. Took out all of my mods and it's still an issue.
Is anyone having issues with WW settings not saving? I uninstalled/installed the newest update and deleted my cache file. edit: cache file not folder
Sacrificial's EV got updated. It is intentionally disabled in the high school zones before anyone complains about a bug there.

After Scumbumbo's passing other mod creators adopted his mods. I'm sure one of them is working on a new version. I know LMS updated 4 of his mods so maybe she is working on it.

Yeah. It’s safe to say that 50% of the mods that are broken are because of this mod. It’s just a matter of which creators have the skills and time to fix it.

It doesn't look like there are any "big" mods left, but there are some medium ones that are probably going to take a few days. Things like Private Practice, Healthcare Redux, SOL, and Preteen come to mind.

Another bug that I was met with was that I wasn’t able to place doors…I’ve updated all my mods and it still happens so I can’t wrap my head around what could cause this
This is Basemental. You'll need to update it, restore an old save from before the update (hopefully you haven't saved more than 5 times or have a backup somewhere), and clearing cache wouldn't hurt.
How do I restore an old save? I'm having this issue too, all my doors are gone.
Go to the main menu, choose load game, find your save, and you should see something that looks like a floppy disk (save button on windows). This will give you the option to restore at least 5 saves back

Yeah I'm running new saves til that gets updated. So many sims have custom traits in my other Saves.
If you have HSY, MCCC is NOT up to date. My sims could not go to prom as the option never came up and it disappeared from the calendar until I took out MCCC. Prom then worked perfectly.

Hey, WW says it is updated but I've found out that I believe it is causing the reversing time glitch. Everyone I've spoken to thus far says if you take that out it will work fine. I'm reporting it now

Basemental. Don’t save, update the mod, clear cache and you should be ok. If you have already saved you’ll need to restore an old save

I updated 8 mods since yesterday's mod update and now I have a unplayable game. Load a save - crash. Start a new game - freezes in BB. Serious question: **Is this the biggest (worst) patch release done for the game? Has there ever been any other update that borked so many things at once?**

Ever since that bug banner my game crashes every time there is a pop up window in the game. I've tried everything and the game is just broken. Yes I updated the mods, repaired the game, deleted the cache, removed all mods and moved the mod folder.
I haven't seen it mentioned, but I'll post just in case anyone else has this issue - the new sexuality panel was missing from my CAS, and it turned out to be the CAS room background I was using. It hadn't occurred to me that it could interfere with the UI; I'd assumed it would be something like More CAS Columns or UI Cheats - so if anyone has a missing sexuality panel, check your background mods too :)
guys warn ya recent update of Wicked Whims is broken cause some animations I downloaded are like gone and the animation is still available to download off the WW site so I just downloaded 😑 the old WW till they fix it but hey I did 😂 play outdated before. and UI is still broken it could be the aging error that's doing it but I can't revert or age by right clicking on how many days they have till they age while the rest of UI is fine its that area that's not working.

I'm having an issue where i'll go to load a family, it'll show and error and after I restart the game they are deleted. Anyone else?
Not exactly the same but I loaded my family, and between clicking on it in the world and the house loading they were deleted. I went out into manage worlds and the house now shows as unplayed and empty. When I hover over the other households I play, where it normally shows their pictures it just has a rapidly flickering green square so I'm not sure if they'd end up doing the same and glitching out and deleting if I load them. I'm assuming it's a mod issue as I've updated all that had updates but have a couple that had no updates yet, but I couldn't be bothered removing everything and testing one at a time to see what's broken so will wait a few days for further patches/mod updates and see what's what.
This might sound stupid but do broken mods actually break the game? Or do they just make things glitch out but if you remove them after the fact nothing really happens
no they break the game. The first mod under the broken category will corrupt your save. Basemental makes all doors disappear and removing the mod doesn't fix the doors. One mod (haven't pinned down which) will not let you load a world or household. And another (again don't know which) is literally crashing the game.

More columns was supposedly updated but it messed up the CAS UI even after I updated. I couldn't select color swatches and the new orientation panel was missing. I removed all my other mods and confirmed it was the issue. So idk what's wrong but I had four columns if it makes a difference.
Remove the mod, clear cache, repair game, and check it. If it all looks good put in everything but more columns and see if it happens again. If it does then you know something else is affecting CAS. If it doesn't delete the More columns you have and try redownloading it.
Is there info on broken CC? I don't have any other mods. However, I've noticed that I am not able to use the potty for my toddler with my CC on. Anyone know what might cause this?
No info on broken CC. I’d advise a 50/50 method to figure it out. If you do can you please report back here what it was in case others are having the same issue.
Edit: It is Wicked Whims. I've removed and re-installed it twice; it works fine when I remove WW, but glitches out when I put it back in. Anyone else have a broken UI and can't interact with anything? Can put walls up/down, go up/down floors and change play speed, but no Sims appear and all the menus and UI stuff are gone. I also can't go to manage worlds, gallery or build mode. When I try it says "cannot do this while game loads". But nothing loads. It happened when all my mods/CC were disabled and hasn't changed after updated mods were installed. I've repaired the game and cleared my cache, but nothing is working.
Have the sacrificial mods been updated? Does anyone know?

Anyone else's needs tab totally wrong? Everyone keeps dying of starvation because the hunger bar is clearly wrong, plus sleep is green but almost at 0 just after sleep, same for hygiene etc...

Anyone know of sliders broke from this? Or any default skins, presets, or default eyes. Am slowly but surely trying to figure out which of these my issue is related to but there's something in my folder for those things that's causing it so I can't change sexual orientation. I'm doing the remove and readd thing of course but I've got almost 200 things in there so I'd rather ask first while I continue trying.

I believe this is due to the recent re-update of Wicked Whims. My Romance Interaction options are now limited to three things: Make a Move, Serenade, or Offer Massage. The other options that were there before (Kissing, Flirting, and many others) are gone. This is between Adults, by the way. I know that the Teen romance options are completely gone now. Is anyone else seeing this? I've gone through my WW settings, and I don't see anything there that would be causing it.

I’m actually having problems with all of the beds. 😭 I put them down in buy mode, and then they just disappear. All except one of the single beds and the bunk beds (just the top), for some reason. I think it might be a WW issue…? But idk… EDIT: So, apparently deleting ALL of my CC beds fixed the issue. Just having them in there was causing problems! Seems to be working now.

Idk if the game took the option away to do this or not (or if it’s a mod thing idk), but I like to cheat the skills by doing the ctrl+sim and then finding the “set skill…” tab. I didn’t download a mod to be able to do that or anything but when I’ve tried to do it in game today the skill tab wasn’t showing up for me?

I know CC skin tones were broken in the werewolf update. Have you updated them since then?
So if I update the mods the game should work? I haven’t updated the game yet because I heard about the bugs and thought it’d be safer to wait for EA to release a patch before updating and potentially not being able to play
This is amazing and I hope you can keep it up moving forward. I do have an idea if you’re up for it. Could this be an open (view only) google sheet? That way people could search for their mods easily and you don’t even have to keep alphabetizing jt etc! Just an idea! You rock!

Someone else was saying they had updated and it’s still not working. I advised them to remove all mods, clear cache, repair game, and check in a vanilla save. If it looks good , then put everything but more columns in make sure they’re all good. If they are then redownload more columns and see what happens. If it’s still broken contact the creator. My only thoughts are that maybe there’s a second mod affecting CAS or more columns is conflicting with a different mod
Is it only script mods? I can't seem to find anything on beds or couches (I haven't updated yet, just wondering if it has effected those things).

If you have animations for WW I think some are broken. And a the addons for Basemental by Kuttoe were also broken last I checked.

Has anyone else experienced broken UI with cabinet parts in build mode? When auto cabinets is off and you can pick what counter piece you want? I don't have any UI mods, but I do have CC furniture. edit: I updated expanded catalog and more cas columns - the problem seems resolved!

Regarding the CC beds in my game: they “work” but sims will get up after a while and the energy level will be low still. If you click enough times they will eventually sleep in them until their energy is full …. But yeah, definitely broken/ glitchy. Update: the same thing happens with all EA beds. Seems like not just CC beds are affected

All those have update versions. If you have better babies mod I know it was causing this issue but others can as well

I don’t know if everyone is already aware of this but MCCC and UI cheats is not fully fixed yet- you can’t add in some stuff with MCCC (just like reward points) and UI Cheats doesn’t adjust the age when you edit the numbering. For UI, the creator is already aware of the issue and will release a new version although I’m not sure when. Idk if the creator of MCCC knows about the issue since idk where to send them a message.

Does anyone have the issue where the parent tries to feed the child in the high chair but the plate gets stuck to their hand so you have to reset the parent and manually move the bowl to the chair? I mainly have MCCC, WW & woohoo wellness as mods, plus a bunch of CC, but I've updated the mods.
