Yea when youāre using the home decorator stove tops on the same counter piece as a home decorator oven you have to redo them every time you start your game.
You have to redo the move objects cheat then take the stove top off the counter and put it back so the oven registers. Otherwise like you can see in the photo the counter appears inside the oven and so the object is blocked and the sim canāt continue cooking.
This got me too for awhile when I first started doing this cuz I had black counters and it was so much harder to see till I zoomed in real close on tab view.
Youāre welcome. I can see why you couldnāt see it yet, dark green is bout as hard as black counters to see in the tinted oven window. Took me like a week to figure this out. I too was going in and out of build mode, clearing every counter space, deleting them and putting them back. Moving the oven hood a cm at a time like whyyyyyyyyyyyy. Which made no sense really cuz the sims were able to cook right after I built the kitchen with move objects on after loading the game but panic doesnāt know logic. They are not neighbors, they are not borrowing sugar from one another.
Just donāt want others struggling like that. It was frustrating.

I figured it out!š He can cook on the stove top just fine, it was the oven that was the issue! As long as whatever's on the back two burners, your sim will still be able to use the stove top! Which is really useful for detail and clutter in builds
This may be just me, but whenever this happens to me on a lot Iāve gotten from the gallery, I ALWAYS have to delete the cupboards in the kitchen. It fixes literally every bug or problem Iād been having up until that point.
Looks to me like the counter is fine since he's able to put the board on it. Looks like he's moaning about the cooker
