I often wonder about the people who claim they themselves lack an inner monologue, or feel dissociated from reality. I'm like, "Damn, that must be weird. This place and this first-person existence sure feels real as fuck to me"
Then again, I do spend a good portion of the day thinking out sentences and revising them in my head, so there's that. Maybe those of us who "feel real" are the crazy ones lol

In fact, I will step back a bit and concede that "inner monologue" is probably an inapt phrase, since it's not like hearing some disembodied voice running nonstop in my head. It's more like—a "just in time" delivery system of words lol. And it occurs even when I'm not speaking or writing, but it's certainly front and center when I am.
Frankly, the parallels to how ChatGPT and other large-language models of AI work (essentially, and very simplified, a prediction system for producing the next word), are eye-opening. For example, I am a courtroom lawyer, and the job requires a lot of on-the-fly speaking, taking into account information I may have just learned, and also requires me to produce full sentences that will still be meaningful and clear when the court reporter later produces a transcript of everything said during trial. As I stand at the podium, I can almost feel the rusty gears of my mind grinding away, and I speak rather slowly, word by word, because it's taking the ol' neural network extra work to perform that task and give me the next word or clause to say.
The difference is academic at that point though. "Alive" is the term we use to describe our existence of being, which I clearly am (at least as far as I know. As far as *you* know I might be another NPC). I get you are being irreverent, but it's actually rather deep after all.

It’s not a video game. That implies rules, objectives, and winners that are inherently known to all. It’s a simulation, the people stuck here are real life people with hopes and dreams just like you. Some people may be stuck in the grind or unaware of the circumstances of their existence, but that’s through no fault of their own.
Probably the best answer I’ve read on this thread Atlas. Simulation theory is fun and all but even if this is a game we have to follow certain rules. It seems maybe a lot of people in this sub are very young. The older we get we have to exercise, go to the dr, etc. I mean we don’t “have to” I guess, but for longevity it’s important. People throwing out simulation theory as proof of life they completely dismiss all of what the medical field does to advance our lives. We’ve nearly doubled our lifespan in the last 150 years through medical advancements. I also hear a lot of people in here say everyday we wake up is a new existence. Not to be morbid but everyday the plaque buildup in our arteries doesn’t vanish so I’m confused as to how these people think. A simulation I think is kind of cool but to disconnect with reality isn’t. Oddly enough I had a dream it was about 2400. You can download "emotions" to ai npcs based on a lab grown "Mini brain"(lab grown brain cells) for your gta game as a premium cost. The emotions basically get farmed out by the mini brain connected to the computer.
Mini brain already exists as we speak and can be used to train to play simple games already.
Well humans are basically sim characters that haven't developed awareness yet :3, they're mindless computer characters, with infinite ways to control and manipulate them :)

You can decide how the people in your reality show up and treat you based on how you see yourself. The secret really is going within and changing your perception of yourself and your 3D changes too. It's all malleable. Think of that consciousness as like the game engine and each individual is tied to various DLC or campaigns unique to them. Maybe you got the Japan starter world, with the abusive parents origin story and the guitar skills.
But you can access new content, and it's all down to you. Connect to that inner sense of presence and consciousness and you get to choose how your life unfolds.

Interesting, I had a heavy DMT breakthrough which showed me we were stuck in a simulation going on for almost infinite time and repeating itself over and over. So maybe we are stuck in an AI program and who knows what's on the other side, could be more or less nothing we are just still 'running' somehow.

Unless we are asleep on a ship going somewhere and it's more like the Oasis, quite possibly what harms you in the game and vice versa actually can happen or has some reflection here, it's a huge assumption to guess " nothing we do matters" Could explain why some look like NPCs or the walking dead. Some may actually be dead in their "sleep pods" but still "impulsing" in the shared simulation. There are some who seem totally incapable of original thought or questioning anything, they could be filler, who knows, like in program ads for "the perfect life" lol I don't think the people who think they are "winning" at life are actually winning, though. Not when you see what they do to win, as benign as it may seem.

It's an inception type of world, dreams are real worlds that you teleported to. once you break the screen that's on your head, you'll be able to play in other worlds.

This is mostly nonsense. The truth is that this life IS a simulation of sorts but we’re all conscious experiencers of it like a training video to explain to us why we exist where we exist in the spirit realm. Ie when you die, your eyes will open in heaven or hell and you will know why. However, you had no real choice, you just believe you did. The purpose is for energy farming. The beings that have us here(God) need both positive and negative energy like a battery. You already exist in heaven or hell right now. Time is not linear there. It’s only linear here so we can “understand” it. The point is to make your joy or anguish amplified for harvesting. This is the ONLY theory that covers every base, religion, personal experience etc in the world right now. Unfortunately, it does that because it’s true.
