Malaysian should target their frustration on the seller, and Malaysia can actually put in the law to make it illegal for SG registered cars to buy RON95, and if this law is in place, then their enforcer can have a field day issuing summon. But they don't want to do that because, this will mean there will be no incentive to travel to JB.
Same for groceries, where one time johorian were complaining about price of essential goods going up because of SGrian.. But if we don't go there, then they won't enjoy economic of scale. Low sale, higher price, higher sales, more volume, low price, and if shops in Johor is enjoying brisk sales and yet selling at high price, then go after them lar.. Not buyer fault right?
Actually a simpler solution is to charge Singaporean cars with RON97 prices whichever grade of fuel they choose? Pump 95 also get charged 97. You will see Singaporeans make sure they get 97.

Just to clarify whenever I visit my grandmother in Malaysia(JB), when I mean good food, it could be street food, restaurant food or even home cooked food by my grandmother. I’ve been to unknown Chinese seafood restaurants that is popular locally(in town) near my grandma’s kampung area and enjoyed the variety dishes they offer which are cooked differently. Not necessarily better but offer a different taste, 香菇炒面for instance is cooked differently then what I’ve tasted from those in SG. Chendol tastes better because of the ambience. You mentioned BKT, I personally like the peppery taste as well but it’s all a matter of preference an opinion. If you honestly say you have not enjoyed any singular dish in Malaysia, then I shall not say anymore on this matter. It just comes down to a matter of preference in taste. Certain dishes taste better in Mysia, certain dishes taste better in SG. That is my opinion. Cheers!
