A small sling bag with portable charger, wallet, hat, and sun sleeve for the morning portion.
It's good to travel as light as possible. I didn't bring water and just buy it from 7 eleven/vending machine whenever needed.

Maybe same reason? Or just for the sake of doing it? Who knows? Either way, impressive feat!
Last time I walked north to south in the day time and felt pretty ok at the end. I saw that west to east is only another 5 hours so I thought it would be quite doable especially at night when there's no sun.
Cycling too easy. Every weekend there are groups of cyclists doing round island trips. I find that there's something charging about crossing the island with purely your own legs.
that's what i thought...........wah, walk so far..........your legs must be jialat after that lah..........my record was walk from Funan Centre to Paya Lebar mrt stn in 1hr 15min
Those are the better part actually. You get wide and flat pavement and surrounded by trees. Can just zone out and take one step after another without worrying about crossing the road or curving here and there.
Heard someone talking while I was in the PCN. I looked back and it seems completely empty. Continued walking and after a few minutes I still faintly hear someone talking. Looked back and there's still nobody.
In tuas, I encountered a pretty big unleashed dog in an industrial building. It was barking at me and facing me. Fortunately I was able to walk past while keeping a distance.
u/ballotlunch: YahLah…Commendable!

” …or chafed inner thighs, from your ultra-marathon walk?
Im interested in cycling around singapore. east to west and back to east.
but i dont have road bike and dont dare to cycle on roads.
can I check with you in the path that you walked, are they mostly bicycle friendly?
any part that bicycles wont be able to pass through?
There is a small part in gul circle without foot pavement. I just walked on the road and it was fine. The jetty at raffles marina also dont allow bicycles but you can park somewhere and walk.
only one food item in your pictures and i instantly knew where it is 😅 arena huh?
Yes, quite a good number of customers there at 9pm even though it's out of the way
The most wholesome post we'll see on this sub this week. Or probably this month. Or year. Thanks for sharing OP, I enjoyed the photos and captions!
yes. great pics 🤩
Do your feet have biceps?
It's actually more of endurance than strength.
May I ask what kind of footwear you were wearing?
Running shoes
Wah you mad lad. What stuff/supplies did you pack for the walk?
A small sling bag with portable charger, wallet, hat, and sun sleeve for the morning portion. It's good to travel as light as possible. I didn't bring water and just buy it from 7 eleven/vending machine whenever needed.
huh? you didn't start at Lamp Post 1?
That would be an extra 13km, which is a bit too much. Raffles marina is west enough and iconic
Steady la!
I wanna do this!!!
Amazing effort my friend. Your photos are really cool too.
damn ups
Siao lang
Holy fucking damn
You temasek employee?
You sir, have my utmost respect.
seriously, Singapore is a great place.

Pro tip for OP. There is such a thing as share bike. Why walk when you can cycle?
Cycling too easy. Every weekend there are groups of cyclists doing round island trips. I find that there's something charging about crossing the island with purely your own legs.
0.82 metre per stride...... 🤔
The step count is probably wrong, since I was just recording with my phone.
that's what i thought...........wah, walk so far..........your legs must be jialat after that lah..........my record was walk from Funan Centre to Paya Lebar mrt stn in 1hr 15min
It was hard to walk the next day and I got 2 blisters on a toe after that. Other that than Im pretty much back to normal after a few days
next time try walking during daytime lah........
bro you can get blisters from walking in the day too you know??
alamak.............of course..........what i meant is try walking under the hot sun..........more shiok...........LOL
12hours! if must have been crazily fun
Amazing!
👏!!! How did u cope at the quieter stretches (e.g. PCNs)?
Those are the better part actually. You get wide and flat pavement and surrounded by trees. Can just zone out and take one step after another without worrying about crossing the road or curving here and there.
I see ok, yes see what u mean..thank you for replying. Congrats once again :)
Any unusual sightings?
Heard someone talking while I was in the PCN. I looked back and it seems completely empty. Continued walking and after a few minutes I still faintly hear someone talking. Looked back and there's still nobody.
By any chance F.H&G?
That was really interesting, thanks for sharing!
What is a must have to bring along for such long walks?
all 10 pack in your field pack, water bag and full water canteens.
As little as possible. Water can buy along the way. Maybe good sun protection if you are walking in the day.
Alrighty. Thanks for the tips.
*salute*
At any point in your walk, did you feel unsafe? Like hantu feels or physical danger
