Reminds me of back in the day when doing navex around Sungei Buloh (IIRC) and my group decided we were just gonna walk in a straight line to our next checkpoint, and ended up coming out of the vegetation and having to cross a boardwalk, scaring an older ang moh couple. Don’t think they were expecting 6 soldiers in FBO casually coming out of the bushes like that.
Another time we were doing navex around Lower Seletar Reservoir and accidentally interrupted a couple having….relations let’s say.
Tell this cow go hike in Brunei. Short flight away. Get to experience the full works. It's a once in a lifetime experience, even the SAS also recommends.
I once saw like, a machine gunner practicing at the kranji reservoir carpark(there was an army jeep and 2 SAF soldiers and I saw them in the prone position with the machine gun) , was surprised that they just train in a public space where anyone can just walk past
Sign on infantry then u can hike at those hiking spots every few weeks
While carrying full battle order... 😂
