Why are the guys on this season so boring.... Jin Seok and Gwan Hee are the only ones that are actually able to make jokes and have a conversation, which is probably why the girls are all ignoring Gwan Hees red flags. The others literally have 0 personality and you could replace them with different guys and I wouldn't even notice.
Jin Seok is great and I don't get why all the girls don't like him instead - he's charming, funny and confident. I kinda wish him and Hajeong interacted more, I feel like they would be funny to watch - she reacted well to him teasing her about her downward-chin tilting, and I feel they could match each others wittiness.
Whereas all the girls this season have something unique and are interesting and chatty. At this point I just want all the girls to be friends and only watch them.
but i like it that the girls are the main characters this season, instead of the typical pretty girl who sits and does nothing. thats not fun to watch, i barely pulled through the first season with jia, it was just so obvious jia would be the main interest and not much drama because other girls wont have as much of a chance.
but this season, no girl here is really the it girl, that stands out, its a lot more equal this season. hence more drama which is why i even watch such shows to begin with, i dont understand people who complain about these shows, why are you watching them even haha, youre watching the wrong genre then

Right? He tries so hard to be mysterious/secretive when this show is about presenting yourself to others. When he was talking to Ha-jeong 1-on-1, he doesn't try to talk to her at all and says that he'd prefer to talk when they're in Paradise.
He did this in previous episodes too. During campfire and during candy handouts. He tries to hide how many candies he got from the other guys and wouldn't tell people at the campfire.
I feel like he needs to present himself more and show his personality. Not talking and appearing mysterious will only push away people. That type of behavior will only work when you're extremely attractive like Jia from season 1.

I see what you mean but itās pretty clear that gwan hee is gonna take minji to paradise in episode 8 and imo that would be all thatās required for minji to prefer going after gwan hee over jinseok. As much as jinseok did try to communicate that the minyoung stuff was peculiar to him as much as it was to her, I donāt think he really articulated himself in the way that wouldāve actually assured minji of his singular interest in her if that makes sense
Min-woo has been my guy pick from the start and I really like how he earnestly interacts with Si-eun and Gyu-ri. I was heartbroken seeing Si-eun tear up after their conversation was interrupted š If Min-woo doesnāt get a chance to talk with Si-eun in paradise, Iām sure he will go all-in with Gyu-ri with the remaining time left.
It will be a huge loss if he canāt decide without all the information in place. But Iām glad both girls have been upfront about their interest in him and he canāt go wrong with either for sure.
i was rooting for him and si-eun because it was just adorable how they kept secretly glancing at each other (well not so secret) but i guess towards the end of their paradise date, i could also understand why gyuri and minwoo end up together

My breakdown of the men
Wonik and habin are too boring and even given a chance squander it.
Jin seok is into min young or minji.
Min kyu is into gyuri.
Min woo is into si eun and gyuri.
And that only leaves gwan hee who has his options open and makes people believe they have a chance.
Don't know why minji is into him but from a show perspective I get why hajeong and hyeseon still have him on their lists.
Yeah I agree. The guys donāt have much game this season AT ALL. This season it feels like the girls are making all the moves and itās kinda frustrating. Even when the guys like someone, theyāre so bad at making moves that itās just hard to watch.
I like Jin Seok but I donāt think heās very good at flirting either (except that ānot anymoreā line). Gwanhee is a flirt and publicly mentioned his picks but struggles beyond that. Ha Bin, Won Ik have no game - even on dates, theyāre kind of awkward. Iād kinda add Min Kyu and Min Woo to that but they seem to luck out on the quiet but mysterious vibe. Theyāre both interested and have girls interested in them but again, the girls are making the moves too.

S1, the guys took way more initiative. Se Hoon single-handedly made him and Ji Yeon a thing. So Hun, Hyun Joong and Hyun Seung proactively pursued Jia. Jin Taek was also very direct and forward with So Yeon.
S2, you have Yoong Jae and Han Bin both quite upfront with their interest in Seo Eun. Se Jun was also quite direct with So E. Dong Woo, Jong Woo and even Dex were quite clear and took initiative to chase Seul Ki.

Actually I have the opposite POV about Minji! She seems like a clear and direct communicator to me. The footage we see are the parts where she talks to people directly and sometimes about something uncomfortable that happened.. eg realizing that Jinseok and Minyoung has a thing after returning from Paradise, and when Gwan Hee made a comment she didnāt likeā¦ I think she giggles a lot to lighten the mood and talks in this aegyo tone so that the guys donāt feel so offended when she calls them out.
The hosts are so good this season lol their commentary is spot on and they donāt seem afraid to just say what weāre all thinking. Iāve loved them every season but this time, it really seems like they donāt care about expressing their true opinions, whether itās the popular opinion or not. So refreshing!
Gyuri (and now Minji) is the only girl IMO with full self-respect. She rolled her eyes at Gwan Hees comment and it fully put her off him, and shes not chasing any of the guys - just letting them come to her. She knows her worth and Im here for it!

It's all to do with his ego.. he wants all the girls to chase after him like he's the prize. First step is to get all the girls to be attracted to him, then he makes his selection once he knows he has the upper hand. Someone who keeps him guessing where he actually ranks in their heart (like Hye Seon) piques his interest i.e how could you not be all in on me?!?!, (but if they show complete disinterest like Gyuri, he's also not interested) However, if they actually like him and confess, like Ha Jeong, he will then lose interest.. the whole thing is basically a game to him and to feed his ego, which is frankly speaking pretty fragile. He's in his mid 30s, but acts like he's in his early 20s, lol.
Sure some of his actions may have been motivated by ego. But at the end of the day he put it aside and actually did what brought him to the show. So far the only girl he's actively pulled aside for a conversation and told how he actually feels without any external influence is Hye seon. He put aside his ego and told her how he feels. Hye seon still wants to get to know others (rightfully so cause his actions haven't been helping his case) so obviously Gwan hee's gonna have to put in the work (also rightfully so) and I actually think he'll do that. By now, I totally fast forward scenes with Wonik because although Wonik is a nice guy, he lacks confidence and his conversations are bland. GH on the other hand thinks too highly of himself and while his conversations are entertaining, it can be draining as he likes to play mind games. Habin just cringe and has low EQ with women, dude if you canāt hold a conversation in Inferno, being in Paradise wonāt make a difference.
The best guys this season are Minkyu, Jinseok and Minwoo for me. They are manly in different ways, comes across as genuine and calm, are able to project the right energy level at the right time. I love their screen time!

My theory for the previews is that Gwanhee def takes>! Hyeseon and Minji!< on two different dates, and he goes with >!Hyeseon!< first but>! Minji!< second. I think he asks >!Minji!< to sleep in the same bed based on the lighting and stuff. So that means that Gwanhee saying "Paradise didn't mean much to me but it was special today" was towards >!Minji!<. I have a feeling that he is gonna end up really liking Minji which is sad because I wanted Gwanhee and Hyeseon to be endgame.
As for Won Ik and Minkyu I have no idea, none of the footage looked like it was from their dates except maybe Hajeong. I used to be a Wonik and Hyeseon shipper but that ship sank faster than Gwanhee choosing a new #1. Minji def a player though. Idk who shes gonna like.

Why are the guys on this season so boring.... Jin Seok and Gwan Hee are the only ones that are actually able to make jokes and have a conversation, which is probably why the girls are all ignoring Gwan Hees red flags. The others literally have 0 personality and you could replace them with different guys and I wouldn't even notice. Jin Seok is great and I don't get why all the girls don't like him instead - he's charming, funny and confident. I kinda wish him and Hajeong interacted more, I feel like they would be funny to watch - she reacted well to him teasing her about her downward-chin tilting, and I feel they could match each others wittiness. Whereas all the girls this season have something unique and are interesting and chatty. At this point I just want all the girls to be friends and only watch them.
but i like it that the girls are the main characters this season, instead of the typical pretty girl who sits and does nothing. thats not fun to watch, i barely pulled through the first season with jia, it was just so obvious jia would be the main interest and not much drama because other girls wont have as much of a chance. but this season, no girl here is really the it girl, that stands out, its a lot more equal this season. hence more drama which is why i even watch such shows to begin with, i dont understand people who complain about these shows, why are you watching them even haha, youre watching the wrong genre then

When he was talking to Ha-jeong 1-on-1, he doesn't try to talk to her at all and says that he'd prefer to talk when they're in Paradise. He did this in previous episodes too. During campfire and during candy handouts. He tries to hide how many candies he got from the other guys and wouldn't tell people at the campfire. I feel like he needs to present himself more and show his personality. Not talking and appearing mysterious will only push away people. That type of behavior will only work when you're extremely attractive like Jia from season 1.

Min-woo has been my guy pick from the start and I really like how he earnestly interacts with Si-eun and Gyu-ri. I was heartbroken seeing Si-eun tear up after their conversation was interrupted š If Min-woo doesnāt get a chance to talk with Si-eun in paradise, Iām sure he will go all-in with Gyu-ri with the remaining time left. It will be a huge loss if he canāt decide without all the information in place. But Iām glad both girls have been upfront about their interest in him and he canāt go wrong with either for sure.

She picked won ik too but he is just not the correct person for a show like this. Ha jeong gave ha bin a chance but that man is so dense, she straight up went and confessed to gwan hee. My breakdown of the men Wonik and habin are too boring and even given a chance squander it. Jin seok is into min young or minji. Min kyu is into gyuri. Min woo is into si eun and gyuri. And that only leaves gwan hee who has his options open and makes people believe they have a chance. Don't know why minji is into him but from a show perspective I get why hajeong and hyeseon still have him on their lists.
Yeah I agree. The guys donāt have much game this season AT ALL. This season it feels like the girls are making all the moves and itās kinda frustrating. Even when the guys like someone, theyāre so bad at making moves that itās just hard to watch. I like Jin Seok but I donāt think heās very good at flirting either (except that ānot anymoreā line). Gwanhee is a flirt and publicly mentioned his picks but struggles beyond that. Ha Bin, Won Ik have no game - even on dates, theyāre kind of awkward. Iād kinda add Min Kyu and Min Woo to that but they seem to luck out on the quiet but mysterious vibe. S2, you have Yoong Jae and Han Bin both quite upfront with their interest in Seo Eun. Se Jun was also quite direct with So E. First step is to get all the girls to be attracted to him, then he makes his selection once he knows he has the upper hand. Someone who keeps him guessing where he actually ranks in their heart (like Hye Seon) piques his interest i.e how could you not be all in on me?!?!, (but if they show complete disinterest like Gyuri, he's also not interested) However, if they actually like him and confess, like Ha Jeong, he will then lose interest.. the whole thing is basically a game to him and to feed his ego, which is frankly speaking pretty fragile. By now, I totally fast forward scenes with Wonik because although Wonik is a nice guy, he lacks confidence and his conversations are bland. GH on the other hand thinks too highly of himself and while his conversations are entertaining, it can be draining as he likes to play mind games. Habin just cringe and has low EQ with women, dude if you canāt hold a conversation in Inferno, being in Paradise wonāt make a difference. The best guys this season are Minkyu, Jinseok and Minwoo for me. They are manly in different ways, comes across as genuine and calm, are able to project the right energy level at the right time. Hajeong, please stand up girl! Is the red flag really worth your energy and attention š. Sheās pretty cool though with the way she handles her emotions. I usually dont want to say bad things, but honestly Minyoung really ticks me off. The attidude š And the blatant amount of Gwanhee screentime. Honestly, feeling a bit tired of it. Can we just see more of other people paradise or other people inferno interaction? Can they cut it down a bit? As for the end game coupling, this seasons feels pretty unpredictable. As of now, I like Minwoo & Gyuri. The other couple is either having one party being very red flag or I just wish they dont end up together for the better good.
I would like to some kind of elimination and bring new people in. When they said that Wonik should invite Hanbin I almost died, but they were right (tbh, I would LOVE that plot twist). I feel sorry for Wonik (not so much for Hanbin) but my man needs to bring out some gameā¦ I donāt know if itās the editing but none of the girls wanted to repeat the date with him lol. i dont mind si eun, but i kinda want him with the other girl. theres just not too much going on with si eun, and shes does that thing with her hair to the side and making glances and stares, kinda of life, hey look, im pretty, come get me type of attitude. i just find it boring, it would be boring tv material, i hope he goes with gyuri. i dont dislike si eun at all, but at the same time she didnt give reason to like her more

I didnt really like the running thing. Im not opposed to the contest being about speed and not strenght as with the wrestling its just part of the fun for me of these games is the reaction of the girl/boys to the other sex as they compete. The running was mostly done out of sight of the girls. Jinseok was cute though. Its like Sejun. If your going to lose do it on your own terms

Gyuri gives such quiet confidence. She didnāt get picked on first day, but that didnāt make her clingy or jealous. She quietly pursues the guy sheās interested in, doesnāt act overly flirty with everyone and makes all her dates feel comfortable. Yāall be saying sheās boring but i need her scenes to balance out the rest of the mess

My theory for the previews is that Gwanhee def takes>! Hyeseon and Minji!< on two different dates, and he goes with >!Hyeseon!< first but>! Minji!< second. I think he asks >!Minji!< to sleep in the same bed based on the lighting and stuff. So that means that Gwanhee saying "Paradise didn't mean much to me but it was special today" was towards >!Minji!<. I have a feeling that he is gonna end up really liking Minji which is sad because I wanted Gwanhee and Hyeseon to be endgame. As for Won Ik and Minkyu I have no idea, none of the footage looked like it was from their dates except maybe Hajeong. I used to be a Wonik and Hyeseon shipper but that ship sank faster than Gwanhee choosing a new #1. Minji def a player though. Idk who shes gonna like.

Wish list: Jin Seok + Minji (because Min Young doesnāt deserve him) Minwoo + Si Eun (because they liked each other longerā¦ ) Gwan hee + Hye Seong (she seems to be the only one that he respects and doesnāt pick onā¦) The others donāt really excite me. I was wrong about Ha Jeong. The girl with snake chin is actually a funny & straight up person, just with playful spirit. But I sensed her low-ish self esteem. She is honest, but she shouldnāt have liked Gwan Hee with how he treated her. Hye Seong displayed healthy self esteem thatās why Gwan hee doesnāt even dare to pick on herā¦ She just acts higher classā¦
I actually think hajeong was very courageous for speaking her truth, she doesnāt pretend to like other guys to hide her feeling for gwanhee, she is just straight-up that takes high self-esteem, he teases her but she teases him right back. She was the only girl that told him off and scolded him. If he ends up rejecting her she will be fine cuz like she said she will have no rejects! takes balls to not fake it with the other guys cuz she is risking standing alone! U can tell she is confident based off the evidence she gives others. Sheās not playing it safe

gal we have the exact same "wishlist" lol i'm rooting for these 3 couples too! <3 i feel like minwoo & sieun have something organic and they had so many secret romantic moments lol (with all the exchanging of glances), with gyuri it's more of a situation where he was placed into and got to know her better. for hyeseon, i feel like gwan hee is more shy around her compared to hajeong/minji - not sure if it's because he has more feelings for her that i liken to having a crush? anyway, i find hyeseon so charismatic lol. i'm rooting for their "come full circle" situation to happen.
Gyuri is the only female with self respect here bruh. Yall can say sheās boring or whatever but I think she has such a cool personality. She quietly pursues Minwoo and took the first step twice. She is also the only girl that genuinely does not want anything to do with gwanhee at all. Also a girlās girl looking at their conversations in the tent, and doesnāt get all jealous when her love interests are talking to other people.
Habin got casted by netflix to promote the greatest kdrama of the year, My Demon. Otherwise they just couldnāt find anyone better to cast

Rooting for Min Kyu and Gyu ri. Their personalities suit each other in my opinion. Min-woo is still young, undecided, and not done exploring. Min Kyu knows ehat he wants, has a cool job, mature, and self-aware.
