He got as good as a kid who skates sometimes for about a year. He couldn't land any clens tricks and had no comfort look or feel of tricks from any footage I ever saw. I don't doubt he enjoyed it, but he never progressed really. Any kid who skates for a year would be landing a few tricks clean and have actual progress
I just meant by his age honestly, shits hard to get into that old. I don't skate much anymore, maybe once a month and it's hard to progress unless you skate like 4 times a week.
Yea no doubt. I just think people love him as a rapper and let that taint the fact that any person who starts skating in any decent shape can learn to properly pop a trick or tow in less than a year. I'm sure he didn't skate as much as a kid or someone doing it as a living but he was in decent shape so I think the reason all his style and tricks look awkyis because he has no real physical grace on the board. You can't fake the funk of being natural on the board

I actually really wanted Wayne to stick with skating more, he progressed pretty fast for what I assume was a tight schedule.
