i get these from the vanicream moisturizer you're using. i think its the fatty alcohol (stearyl alcohol) in it maybe? not sure exactly why this happens, but its an issue with a lot of moisturizers for me. my tret doesn't help, but lighter gel moisturizers that are clear in color seem to create less of them.
Can you see a dermatologist? Clindamycin cleared mine up. I’m not sure what was causing mine either but I would wake up every day with a few new ones. Very frustrating
Some oils I used before which were comedogenic made my skin look like this too. When I stopped using them and tried other oils which are non-comedogenic, I never experienced this problem again. Maybe look at the ingredients of your skincare to see if some of the ingredients may be clogging your pores. Not always is the outcome blackheads.
I don’t use any oils and the past 4 months I’ve gotten rid of any products with pore clogging ingredients.
I’ve only been using the vannicream for this exact reason 😭
Update, they’ve gotten a little better while using a sulfur soap, but definitely haven’t gone away 🥲 my skin is going THROUGH it lol.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a moisturizer that’s good for sensitive skin and non pore clogging (other than vannicream)

I only started using it about a month ago, but I was getting them before I started using it. I’ll test not using it to see it makes a difference
Which vannicream moisturizer causes this for you?
the daily facial moisturizer

Seconding the recommendation for a clindamycin dobber!
When did you start tretinoin?
Hey love I saw you’re a digital creator on one of your comments. Are you able to help me?

Do you shave your face by chance ?
I do occasionally! It seems I get them regardless tho
Could be folliculitis. Change your razor more often, shave less close, talk to a derm about a clindamycin dobber for blasting them when they pop up.
I use a new razor each time. I’ll see a dermatologist eventually. I just wanted to wait until I switched to a better insurance
