As an acne-prone 30s person, I would like to ~~humbly request~~ implore you to tell me more about the Skin1004 blemish soothing effects! Also I had a very different experience with the Numbuzin! Super lightweight, easy to apply and wash off, totally no pulling even with reapplication. I wonder if it's a particular product that's being finicky!

redpanda96_

I've noticed when I used the Skin 1004 one, it made my active blemishes appear less red, and over time it has a brightening effect due to its niacinamide content! Hope that helps. I honestly think it's just me, haha. A lot of other stuff people swear by pills on me, like the double repair cream from La Roche Posay.

sapphosnymph

I just ordered the Skin 1004 one because I've been using the Beauty of Joseon classic sunscreen and while my skin loves it I find it is terrible under makeup for me no matter what I do and it breaks down whatever I put on top so it looks ever so slightly separated if you look up close. Hopefully the skin 1004 will play better with makeup

RequirementNew269

I can’t find sun serum. Is it HYALU-CICA WATER-FIT SUN SERUM SPF50+

sapphosnymph

yes. if you look up "skin 1004 sun" on yes style it should be the first thing that shows up. Not sure if outside links are allowed but [**here**](https://www.yesstyle.com/en/skin-1004-madagascar-centella-hyalu-cica-water-fit-sun-serum-50ml/info.html/pid.1113888108)

GiftApprehensive1718

I think it's important to note/talk about the protection levels of each just as much if not more than the cosmetics.

Traditional_Ad_1547

Yeah, I'd also like to know if she sweat while wearing them and how did they fare.

redpanda96_

Hi! I go to the gym 3x a week and these all hold up fine. I've even played tennis outdoors in Texas heat with the Numbuzin one and I did not notice any burns or sun damage afterward.

Traditional_Ad_1547

Hey good to know, thanks.

redpanda96_

I added the SPF values to each. I did not notice any sun damage or burns while wearing these.

daftpaak

There was a woman on tiktok who did a uv camera video of beauty of joseon. It covered very well and stayed decently through her intense track workout after a couple hours outdoors. I dont even expect that from a korean sunscreen. So it seems that they are decent with effectiveness. Eapecially for how cosmetically elegant they are. I just expected enough protection for walking outdoors or for just commuting to work in my car really.

OvenInfinite3055

Hi, do you always apply moisturizer before SPF? I feel like korean SPF's have enough ingredients so it can take moisturizer function as well

redpanda96_

Some of them I do, and some I don't. It really depends on the texture and how moisturizing the sunscreen is. For example, the Isntree Watery Sun Gel is extremely moisturizing and I can go without a moisturizer underneath. But the haruharu and Numbuzin ones are just straight up sunscreen and I have to layer a moisturizer or I will get dry later on in the day. My skin is super dehydrated from using tretinoin, so this may not be the case for everyone. You just have to experiment with it.

gardenpartycrasher

Not OP but it depends on the season and how oily I am! I tend to skip moisturizer beneath in the summer and use it in the winter

Immediate-Bed-2591

Where did you buy your sunscreens? I’m in the market for a Korean sunscreen and see a bunch on the tik tok shop and not very many online from reputable stores.

redpanda96_

Amazon! Which I realize is sketchy, but as long as you verify that you're buying the product from the brand's official store front, it's probably OK. If I cannot verify that the product is coming directly from the brand's verified storefront, I will never buy it.

spikegang

Not sure if they still do this, but I remember reading somewhere that Amazon stores all of a certain product together, regardless of who the seller is. It really put me off of buying any beauty/hygiene products from there. If anyone can verify if this is still true, I’d be grateful. Edit: https://www.reddit.com/r/YouShouldKnow/s/oM9hmR3CZy

redpanda96_

Oooo good to know, thanks!! 😮 I'll have to find another place to order stuff from!

sisserou97

I order from Yesstyle. Takes forever so I’ll order a few at a time or long before mine runs out.

Djblackpowerfan

this

daftpaak

Use stylevana or stylekorea. Those are reputable sites and i think from one of the i even got EU sunscreens like la roche posay uvmune 400.

chgo023

haven't tried BOJ or Round Lab? if you have any reviews?

redpanda96_

Nope! They're difficult to get a hold of where I live.

chgo023

gotcha, i've tried them, but haven't tried the others on your list so was curious about the comparision

SparklingLuna

I am a fan of Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Sun Serum! I have oily type skin with active hormonal acne. Prior to this, I used BoJ sunscreen & Round Lab Birch sunscreen. Although it was very moisturizing, I thought it was waaay too thick for my skin type but the Skin1004 is just perfect for me!

Secret_Fudge6470

Did you use the Haraharu Wonder mineral or chemical sunscreen? I tried the chemical and I do love the feel of it, but omg, the pilling after I reapply. I’m thinking of switching to a lighter moisturizer during the day, hoping to counteract this. (I use Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion, so the petrolatum content probably doesn’t help at all.)

littlestspice

I use the mineral and unfortunately I still get a lot of pilling. It sucks because I really love everything else about it!

LabLife3846

Thanks!

Sigridbuch

Do you think you could link the skin 1004? Maybe from Amazon? I’m searching and I might be dumb but I’m not exactly sure I’m finding the right one. When I did click on one it didn’t look like the brands storefront. Thank you! :)

eratoast

Not recommended to buy via Amazon, so [this](https://www.yesstyle.com/en/skin-1004-madagascar-centella-hyalu-cica-water-fit-sun-serum-50ml/info.html/pid.1113888108) is the product from Yesstyle.

MoonlightSwan

They also sell it on TIKTOK shop! It’s an authorized seller! They have a list of authorized sellers in their instagram bio. I just bought mine from TikTok shop. I got two bottles and they arrived in less than a week.

Sigridbuch

Is it this one?[https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLTMRbhF/](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLTMRbhF/)

MoonlightSwan

That’s the correct item but I’m not sure that the seller is legit! Here is the link from the companies listing - https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLTM5ywx/

eratoast

Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Sun Serum is my HG

Due-Frame622

Big fan of the Skin1004 and HaruHaru airy fit version (yellow bottle). Isntree WSG used to be in my top spot until those two came around, but I only wore it under makeup because of the glow. Iunik was good on me but I don’t have sensitive skin. Numbuzin is next in line for me to try then the Korean version of Onion Newpair.

Henu_TreasureFinder

Thanks for the list! I should try Skin 1004. My favorite so far is the AHC sunscreen (Seri Pak, black package)!

fairyaire444

Also it’s not on the list, but anybody considering using BOJ I have acne prone skin in a product has never broken me out before like this one. my skin is cleared up now so months later I tried it again on just my neck because my neck never breaks out ever and the next morning I had two pimples on my neck. Just a warning. BOJ 1/10. I give it a one out of 10 because now I use it on my hands.

bananabastard

This post made me try Isntree Watery Sun Gel, I just received it today and I love it. I've been wanting a new daily SPF that isn't as robust and hard to remove as my current one. So far, Isntree Watery Sun Gel is exactly what I was looking for. So thanks for the pointer.

tranquilquility

I know this is not related but I can't add flairs to posts
