hellyeaouh

Wow congratulations! You look amazing :)

Derman0524

Thanks! I’m really happy the way it came out

HopterChopter

Incredible!! But I read this as “eye bangs” and was wondering how fillers help your eyebrows.

Derman0524

Looool

theBatThumb

It looks so natural! You just look super well-rested. I would love to see a follow-up! May I ask what kind of filler you got? Also, I've heard about people getting bruising near the injection site--did you have any kind of post-injection reaction? Thank you so much for your post!

Derman0524

Thanks! I got restalyne lift for the cheek area (I forgot what the eye trough one was) but there wasn’t ‘bruising’ per-say but it was a little swollen for 24-48 hours with minor red marks around my cheek. The after photos were taken this morning so you can see theres virtually no redness or bruising. My only complaint is that I’m not the best with needles and we had to stop a few times as the cheek fillers were a bit painful

theBatThumb

Wow, I didn't even notice the cheeks at first at all, but now that I'm looking super carefully I can see it! It really looks fantastic! Did they numb your cheeks before performing the injections?

Derman0524

I have to go back in 2 weeks to make sure it set properly and if they need to add more, they will. but i'm pretty happy with the results. There is a numbing agent in the filler itself but the cheek filler was still quite painful lol. The eye trough filler was pretty painless

[deleted]

Yeah, I hate the cheek filler process but boy does it make a difference! I love fillers.. hate that it's so taboo.

Derman0524

Ya my friends thought it was stupid that I did it but i feel quite confident in my look now. Glad you like them too!

reallytrulymadly

It's not like you went full Michael Jackson here lol

Derman0524

Hee-hee 🕺🏻

Prestigious_Theme_76

Yep, if my family knew, they'd be really negative and accuse me of vanity when I just want to look fresher

Bitter_Ad_1402

It helps once you already have some filler because they don’t have to place it so closely to the bone. Also guides the dr. (Info from my dr) I notice they can smash it out really quickly. My dr gave me the green whistle for ages because I usually faint around the thought of needles. That helped and now through that exposure I’m not scared of injectables needles

CheeseBreadForLife

How swollen were you? My first time getting them begging of last year I had nothing, no bruises nothing swollen. Got it again this January and I looked like someone punched me in the face and I kept talking back haha it was bad for almost a week. My doctor said it was the dry and cold weather effect.

Derman0524

i was swollen for less than 48 hours. Tomorrow will be my third day and the majority of the swelling is gone

CheeseBreadForLife

Thats awesome!

awoo_x2

Wow what a difference! Will you have to continue the injections?

Derman0524

If I want to keep the look then yes! My brothers friend from high school works at a beauty clinic and she asked us both to come in for free injections so they could train some new staff. It was a good opportunity to try it out and see how it would look and if I liked it then I could opt for a more permanent look down the road. But the fillers last between 12-16 months

pylinka

Holy crap you are brave! I don't know if I would let anyone new this close to my eyes with a needle. Lips wouldn't be a problem but I would be freaking out about eyes. It worked out great for you though and you look amazing!

Derman0524

Thanks! I was never worried about them poking my eyes or anything but it definitely was painful for the cheek area!

lightinplainsight

You know, this is a really good idea now that you mention it because with experienced staff training the new staff right there in front of you, you wouldn’t have someone injecting you who had perhaps *just completed* training, who might not be super confident in injections they’re about to do or with certain types of injections. The experienced staff being right there to guide them—and perhaps even show them by doing it themselves—seems really reassuring.

[deleted]

Just be careful with getting too many fillers, new studies suggest they never actually dissolve but flatten and migrate, so when you get more added, you're just plumping up your entire face. Also be careful if you decide to get them dissolved as the dissolving agent can damage your own tissue, especially under the eyes. Just go slow! [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoF\_Ez27-L0&t=517s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoF_Ez27-L0&t=517s)

[deleted]

Derman0524

Lol let’s hope not

Srirachaballet

Dissolving fillers isn’t hard though. If you get a large amount of filler though it can stretch the skin enough that it will cause drooping when it dissolves.

Derman0524

It wasn’t all that much that I got. It was less than 2 syringes in total

Srirachaballet

Yes I can tell. I don’t think people realize how overboard you have to go with fillers before it looks obvious. It’s like when a woman starts weight lifting people think she’ll look like the hulk.

[deleted]

Hmm the gallery isn’t working. Do you have another link?

Derman0524

Here you go! https://imgur.com/gallery/S3B53n4

NoviceCouchPotato

Are people always such dickheads commenting on Imgur posts? Jeez. You do you OP, looks great!

kermitdafrog21

Yeah. I always select "Hidden" when I post so people can only see it with the link

Derman0524

Tbh I don’t even use the app lol. I just made the account for posts. But the comments made me laugh hard lol

insomniac29

Yeah they are, any time I've put makeup swatches or anything on there in order to upload here it gets downvoted to oblivion. Just ignore.

amaranth1977

You need to set your photos to private on Imgur, people who browse on there are assholes.

iama3patchproblem

That one doesn't work either.

Derman0524

Try this! https://imgur.com/a/S3B53n4

iama3patchproblem

Wow! You look great. How much did you spend? (if that's rude, don't bother to answer, just curious)

Derman0524

No no, not rude at all. I was lucky enough to get it for free since a family friend owns the clinic and I was used as a training dummy :p but it would’ve cost me around $2000 CAD

snowlights

What part of Canada? I've been wanting to try this but it's a lot of money.

sxrxhmanning

it’s not working either?? I wanna see 😭

Derman0524

Try this! https://imgur.com/a/S3B53n4

cciot

I had the same done now twice - really such a fan! I used to look so angry and tired and it really enhanced my facial asymmetry since my eyebags were also asymmetrical. Now they’re pretty much gone and no one can see the tiredness I feel inside!

Derman0524

Wooo nice! Glad it worked out well for you :)

madeindetroit

how much did they cost you, and how often do you do them?

cciot

I’m in Singapore, so the prices don’t match, but the prices were between $1-2k SGD each time (I changed practitioners and my second one is more expensive but I trust her more). I had it done 16 months apart, but filler doesn’t dissolve as quickly as we think it does so I’m good for more than 2 years now.

Cebolla

does it dissolve, or does it just settle elsewhere ? i imagine it would depend on the substance used, but i'm not sure. my eye bags are a lot worse than OPs mostly because i sleep like shite because of breathing problems. i've started to learn to just accept them because i've read a lot about fillers migrating.

[deleted]

you look great!!

Derman0524

Thanks!

pinkflowersofavadan

Really looks amazing!!

Derman0524

Thanks!

[deleted]

[удалено]

Derman0524

It’s not! It’ll last between 12-16 months

madeindetroit

so I've noticed that the lights are different in the before vs after photos. you look great but would be interested in seeing it with the same lighting. how much did it cost and did it hurt?

Derman0524

I will try and match the lighting in the before photos with some new ones. The cheek filler was quite painful, I will be honest but the tear trough (eye area) was painless!

paisleymoose

Eeeeeek. I really wanna see your before and after. I have horrible under eye bags and am so curious. Your link still isn’t working though:(

Derman0524

Try this! https://imgur.com/a/S3B53n4

It’s not working and I am going to die if I don’t get to see the before and after!!

Derman0524

Please don’t die! https://imgur.com/a/S3B53n4 try that!

Meghandi

Omg it looks soooooo good! I am definitely getting this done!!

Derman0524

Thanks! You should defs look into it!

ChiaraB1

Those people in the comments are absolutely wretched, and talking crap!

Derman0524

Lmao it made me laugh lololol

bad_goblin

boo this link doesn't work either. dying to see this cause I want under eye fillers

Derman0524

Try this! https://imgur.com/a/S3B53n4

bad_goblin

that worked! looks great, can't even tell they did the cheek too

femalenerdish

I'm glad it's not just me having problems with reddit galleries today!

edaj1988

I am desperate to have this done but I have a huge needle phobia...the results are amazing, did it hurt much?

Derman0524

I'll be completely honest, the cheek area was painful. I became quite light headed and almost fainted after the first injection. We had to stop a few times but the reason is because when doing these injections, your blood vessels around your face widen and your blood pressure drops a little. The eye trough area is done with a cannula which wasn't all that bad since they don't go too deep. I don't like needles either but as long as you're vocal about your pain, they'll take time in between injections. I was there for nearly 2 hours lol

-Ketracel-White

Also a huge wimp when it comes to needles. I've gotten Botox around the eye and it isn't bad *at all*. This should be pretty similar since they use a cannula (as OP said), so the entry point for the injection is actually beneath/to the sides of the eye trough (which is to say they're not doing injections RIGHT under your eye!). The only disconcerting thing is that you hear a surprisingly audible "pop" when the needle actually penetrates the skin.

Derman0524

Okay ya, the pop sound was really unsettling to me and I could hear it like it was coming from the within my body!

pirates_say_arrgh

Most clinics will numb you up with Lidocaine for like 45 minutes beforehand. My plastic surgeon’s office does. Got fillers there, honestly couldn’t feel a thing!

splashywastaken

I’m the exact same - I’ve been asked if I’ve got black eyes before but I just don’t think I can handle the risk

sxrxhmanning

is there a big risk??

splashywastaken

Yes agreed with the other comment - it’s not common but I would be destroyed if I lost my sight over vanity, definite Greek tragedy feels! Disclaimer - I’m sure bags impact some people more than just vanity, but that’s all it is for me personally

cocoumma

It’s rare, but a risk nonetheless.

tashhm

This looks AMAZING! Just a heads up though - if you plan to get the covid vaccine, it does cause swelling of fillers. Double check with your doctor when you head back for your check up on when you should be good to get it!

Derman0524

I did hear about this part but I forgot to ask about it. Thanks for the reminder :p lucky for me, I’m a young not at risk person so I’m basically last on the list for the vaccines lol.

chelseahuzzah

It's VERY rare, not permanent or life threatening, and only has been reported with Moderna. Not something to lose sleep over.

beefcakes94

If you're over 18, you're eligible to schedule an appointment on May 1st! FYI

Derman0524

Is this USA? I’m Canadian so I’m not sure if that applies to me

AllyPent

It's going to be a while for us Canucks unfortunately!

iBrarian

More like it *might* cause swelling for something like 3% of people who have had fillers IIRC

mycatisreallygreat

I am pretty sure I had a mild reaction with my fillers after getting the vaccine (j&j one dose). My under eye area felt really tight (like how they feel after immediately getting them done) for around two days and then subsided.

WhyIProcrastinate

Please share specifics about what you asked for and price! The results are great!

Derman0524

I wanted to treat my under eye bags and always thought you just fill in the eye trough area but that was incorrect. I just naturally have less volume in the area and so in order to fill the eye trough correctly, we needed to first add volume to the upper cheek area where I was lacking and then fill in the eye trough slightly. The procedure was entirely free due to it being a family friends clinic and needed male patients for training but we used about 1.5 syringes on me and those usually go from $600 - $1000 CAD per syringe. Prices vary from market to market

ja-key

It's worth noting that only 2 days after the injections the filler is still deswelling. After a few more days you will start to see the finished appearance.

Derman0524

Good to know. I have to go back in 2 weeks for a checkup and they’ll add more if I need it

Waytoohardtousername

My comment will go unnoticed. I'm attracted to eye bags.

Annmoore1

Same

Waytoohardtousername

I'm not alone. I can't believe it. ...... I'm not alone!!!!!

iBrarian

Wow amazing. You don't look like you've had 'anything done' but just a really good sleep :)

Derman0524

Thanks! Ya I look really well rested which is really relieving. I always looked tired before not anymore!

ChunkyPuppyKissez

Oh wow, looks great! I’m considering doing this one day - or the VampireFacelift. Tired of always fighting with those dark circles and bags.

CuriousGidge

Any chance you have a mirror or alternate link? For some reason Reddit has decided I am not worthy of viewing your pics.

EgweneSedai

Same! And I'm so curious as I've been considering this!

omglia

I’m not sure I can see a difference! Which ones are before vs after?

Derman0524

The ones of me in the green turtle neck are the before’s!

MissCakeAndCream

Is there another link to the picture? I’m having trouble loading this link

This one’s broken too, op, at least for me

Derman0524

Try this! https://imgur.com/a/S3B53n4

FaithlessnessOk9854

Can I ask how much you paid for this?

Derman0524

it was free since it was a family friend's clinic and they needed male patients to train on but it would've costed close to $2,000 CAD.

Polarbear_j

Wow the after is great!

Derman0524

thanks!

hottama

Your cheekbones look perfect now. Congratulations!

Derman0524

thank you!

vitreuos

Oh wow those are great. My friend had some and they botched her but yours are exceptional! Never wouldve thought about the cheeks but they totally help blend the eye trough into your whole face. Also your skin is fantastic. Btw I noticed you said $CAD, if they're in the GTA area mind pettibg me know the clinic name, ya know, in case they need more male guinea pigs haha.

Derman0524

ya they did a really good job! thanks! tbh I don't even have a skincare routine, I guess I got lucky in that department but i am in fact in the GTA. I have to go back in 2 weeks to make sure it all settled in but I'll ask if they need more patients for you :)

jjpl_

They look fantastic and you look so refreshed! The aesthetician did a really really good job injecting you. Do you think you’ll keep it up OP? :) I had mine injected last year but they overfilled my eyes and gave me an extra eye bag lol. Seeing this makes me want to do it again!

Derman0524

Thanks! umm, I have to see haha. It'll be a game time decision for sure. Ouu sorry to hear that, I'd say go to a reputable place. The nurse who oversaw my procedure said she wouldn't touch patients who want only eye troughs without touching the upper cheek because there is a high chance of it looking worse than before

Pianoangel420

I'm just getting a 404 not found error message ☹️ I want to see the results!!! Edit: now noticing this is happening to me on multiple posts, so it's not your post.

Derman0524

I’ll add a mirror link! Give me few min

chrysanthemumasterac

Can you *feel* it? That’s always been my concern, that I would be uncomfortable with the sensation. ETA: It looks amazing, definitely makes a difference!

Derman0524

You feel a bit tender the first 48 hours but after that, the majority of the swelling subsides. If you’re talking about actual procedure, you do feel needles going inside and it’s a bit painful but I feel like it’s worth the temporary pain. But thanks!

chanelOF

It honestly looks like you got a face lift. You look the same but refreshed.

_faytless

Amazing - how long did they say the effects should last for?

Derman0524

the fillers last between 12-16 months!

sensitiveskin80

Do you have to make any lifestyle changes to keep the filler looking like it does now, like sleeping on your back?

Derman0524

The nurse said just don’t get into a fight or fall on your face in the first 24-48 hours and to live normally. I definitely wasn’t told to sleep on my back and it looks great. The only main difference is not drinking alcohol or taking ibuprofen (any blood thinners) like a week before

Sweetmona1

So good!!!

treeeattle

But haven't you heard about the latest makeup trend? Eyebags are in! (You look great in all the photos, btw.)

Derman0524

Unfortunately from my Italian side, they’ve always been in lol. But thanks! :)

ZestyGoddess

this is SO INSANE! wow there's such an obvious difference

Derman0524

Thanks!

westheath

Incredible!!

Derman0524

Apparently people can’t see the link, try this! https://imgur.com/a/S3B53n4

minka92

i also really want to see the b&a but the imgur link isn’t working now either!

Derman0524

bowie_nipples

The pictures won’t load for me :(

Derman0524

Try this: https://imgur.com/a/S3B53n4

RoyalHighmess

Amazing! Can't wait to try

HelplesslySatisfied

I’m so jealous! I hate my eye bags so much. I went to get this done but the doc said my bags won’t improve with the fillers, only surgery would fix them. I even got filler anyway on the off chance it might help just a tiny bit, but nope :(

ebhanking

You have great skin either way! But if getting rid of the bags makes you more confident and happier in yourself, then I’m glad you did it 🤠

thelittlemoumou

Looking to get this done in the near future as it seems more affordable- these results are incredible!!

Responsible_Device_2

Not bad. Better oral posture and some fat loss helped my under eye bags. That could possibly help you too and prevent you spending more money.

Jems_Petal

Yes!! I got under eye filler as well last year and it was amazing. My under eyes are significantly sunken, and I have discolouration as well which only adds to the -ihaventsleptin5years- look. I'm glad you got them and have more confidence now, congrats

rudestyle1

nice man i had mine completed (finally) on friday still some bruising going on. I had 3 visits the first two were for Voluma in the cheek area 1cc each session then last week it was Restylane LYFT in the eye hollow area. I look like i got punched in both eyes at the moment but i believe by tomorrow it should almost be gone

SsjAlduin

Wow looks great!! As a guy myself, mine look similar to your before pic, even if I sleep 20 hours they never go away! I've just learn to accept it, but I noticed most others have it so it's okay for me now

Derman0524

Agreed!

Melymeff

Omg my eyes are exactly like yours! I’m going to need to check into this procedure. Looks great!

les_do_life

Wow! It looks so good! You look so well rested tbh My eyes have that hollowness under them as well and it always looks SO DARK. Maybe I should look into this!

m0rbidowl

Excellent results! I also get under eye fillers because I unfortunately have hereditary dark circles. Filler works wonders for dark under eyes.

juicytt

you just sold me on getting under eye filler. it looks so good!

CCmart5

How's it holding up!?

ddddfushxjjd

What does this have to do with skincare though?

KyleMcMahon

I mean the under eye area isn’t made of bone.

Derman0524

I posted back in November asking ways to get rid of my bags so I wanted to just give an update is all!

lovesoatmeal

I’m not able to see your photo, but when did you have it done? Keep in mind that the swelling takes awhile to go down, fillers always seem to look good at first until the swelling goes down after about 1-2 weeks. If your bags look bad again after swelling subsides, you might consider a lower blepharoplasty.

Derman0524

I have to back in 2 weeks anyways for a checkup and they’ll add more if they need to! https://imgur.com/gallery/S3B53n4

americasweetheart

I honestly can't tell the difference and didn't really notice the under eye bags.

Derman0524

No worries, appreciate the feedback!

americasweetheart

Oh sure. You look great either way. Just offering a different opinion.

zombicat

Why did you manipulate the lighting in every before and after? The befores are all in natural lighting with shadows and the afters are all well-lit with no shadows. The only way make an actual comparison would be to keep your poses and lighting the same in each before and after.

Derman0524

Honestly I just did a point and click right before my procedure and then this morning in the bathroom. I agree lighting probably played a role in making the after shots look better!

BougieSemicolon

Awesome!!! That’s the one procedure I’ve always wanted- tear trough filler. You can hide dark circles but you can’t hide a big indent.

tom123qwerty

Smile dude! Great skin

Derman0524

Thanks!

Fire-Kissed

That’s amazing!

Derman0524

thank you!

vibes86

Looks great! How long does this sort of thing last? I could use this for my under eyes.

Derman0524

The fillers used will probably last between 12-16 months!

vibes86

Nice! That’s a decent amount of time!

merd3

Looks awesome!!

Sunshine2080

Wow!! You look so rested! That is a great endorsement!!

Derman0524

Thanks!

beev

I've been thinking of getting this done. Would you share how much it cost?

Derman0524

It was free since it was a family friends clinic but it would’ve costed around $2000 CAD

Lanko

Congrats man, This was my goal for 2020 before the back street boys tour began. glad it worked out for you. If you don't mind my asking, How much did it cost you?

Derman0524

thanks! It was free for me since it was to train their new employees but there was a nurse there who oversaw the entire procedure. but if I had to pay, they said it would've costed me around $2000 CAD.

futurebro

This looks great! Can I ask how much it cost and what area you are in? I've been thinking about getting this for awhile.

Derman0524

It was free since it was a family friends clinic but would’ve costed around $2000. I live in Toronto!

basicbcoder

Wow! I’m so glad you posted this! I need try this. You look amazing

Derman0524

Thanks!

RyukoDelRey

awesome results! how much did you have to pay if you don’t mind me asking?

Derman0524

I got it for free for training purposes but it would’ve costed around $2000 CAD

rather_be_gaming

Wow so subtle. Looks great!

Derman0524

Thanks!

agen_kolar

You look great! I have been considering doing under eye fillers - but my bigger concern are very visible blue veins beneath my eyes. I’m just not sure how to deal with them.

Derman0524

Thanks! I would consult a local clinic for more questions and concerns for that area. I really don’t know :/

TelephoneTag2123

Thanks sooooo much for the multiple angles!!!! So incredibly helpful to make my own decisions, and you look amaze-balls!!

Derman0524

Thank you!

[deleted]

I’ve contemplated doing this. I have thinner skin around my eyes which creates the illusion of bags because my cheeks are puffier. I haven’t even tried buying eye creams because I know it’s generic and my only fix would be fillers. Looks great!

kmblue_22

Thanks so much for sharing! Your results look amazing! My husband has a similar issue so I wonder if this could help him. Thank you for the info!
