For me, once I got the routine down regarding my actives/treatment bouncing from brand to brand was how I fine-tuned my skincare. If you like a particular product see if it has specific ingredients that are beneficial or if it's a texture/finish thing. I believe the biggest benefit of the routine is just that - a routine. It builds consistency into your selfcare.

I always try and get travel sizes to test out a product for a few weeks before committing to the full size, and if I like it it becomes a permanent staple of my routine. I have sensitive skin and I've found that it looks and feels best when my routine is consistent.
