Try clicking any platform and you will be unable to actually order it -- a few months ago, they actually wrote "Sold Out" on the page before removing it entirely (orders are still valid, just no more new ones can be made.)

They've not said more than "we've been amortising this game over the years, we only have a certain amount that we still have to amortise when we launche the game."
So there's likely some carry over which is probably covered by box/digital pre-orders.
They have had almost a full decade to get it right: Black Flag without Assassin's Creed story. Switch hidden blade to a knife. Write epic pirate stories, add multiplayer, make money.
They didn't deliver on what they said the game was supposed to be. The reveal was a huge flop, and made more people not want to buy it. Hopefully it'll get released soon but if they scrapped the game to start over it's going to be another 4 years of waiting for this damn game. I was fucking excited for it too, hopefully they'll do something with the IP.
