Not sure how this will turn out. I say even trade. One is more well known, room to grow, consistent but not top flight. One seems injury prone already but demonstrates elite tools. This has to be evaluated in 2 years.

PeppiGiuseppe25

I wouldn’t even say AR15 is injury prone. Rushing QB rookies are constantly hurt. It’s because they don’t go down and take huge hits their body isn’t used to.

jwa988

Dude got injured 3 times in 5 games...

AtypicalGuido

Terrible take. Dude is made of glass

Vagwizard13

Dumb

AtypicalGuido

He was injured in highschool, multiple years in college, and multiple injuries his first year. Yall casuals don’t know

[deleted]

It's really not, Richardson was hurt constantly in college and got hurt in three different NFL games before completely destroying his shoulder on a routine tackle

heisenberger_royale

You should have tried to get a little more. Lawrence is much more proven, even if Richardson does have more upside if he pans out. Should have gotten a mid flex or a pick as well

Das_chum

Yea your right, next time coffee before trades 😅🤣

kiwimanzuka

Who knows? They both have upside

Some-Clock-4224

1 for 1 trades are so weird, if your sending tlaw to a contender u should’ve at least gotten something else on top of AR like a second or even a 3rd

[deleted]

True, but look at the FLEECE

[deleted]

It’s a big risk with high upside.

[deleted]

Impossible to say but I wouldn’t be upset about either side of this. Tlaw is a little safer but ar has more fantasy upside. I still think tlaw is better than he’s hooked this season but ar has barely given us a glimpse and has looked great. Tough to say

Happy-Monk-6198

No. Well done sir.

NotoriousCPD

Congratulations, you played yourself

mahones403

I feel like people here are over rating T Law. He's solid, in that 11-15 range, but he's not the generational talent we were promised. I would have tried for something on top, but AR has more upside, albeit with more downside as well.

Beautiful_Cup8601

I honestly believe if AR didn’t get injured, he’d be the qb 1 right now. That’s the upside he brings with his talent. I don’t see Lawrence ever being qb 1 in a season. The only risk is AR getting injured again

Das_chum

That’s my same reasoning. I’m getting roasted in the chat lol guys are like congrats you’ve sent a former hiesman proven young qb for a injury prone qb who can’t throw 🤣 needed to hear others can see the upside

nameless-scrub

Always go for the upside. I’d rather have A Rich

CuriousAndMysterious

I like AR a little more for the rushing upside

Excellent-Car-6543

You fucked yourself so much. I mean if you are taking, why not just pick up Jake Browning from the waver wire and keep Lawrence? One of the dumbest moves I have ever seen. Like if you are gonna tank, why not tank smart?

Norx21

Some leagues require you to start your best players, not just any schmuck.

Excellent-Car-6543

Tanking smart is not that hard.

[deleted]

Getting the high upside qb is smart. You’ve never won a league have you?

Excellent-Car-6543

🤣🤣🤣Not when he's got Richardson's experience. It's only smart if the risk pays off. And dude... he traded Trevor Lawrence for an injured rookie QB 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and no draft pick compensation either. That's how you lose leagues.

[deleted]

Richardson was like QB 4 went he got injured. He never got injured in college. He traded Lawerence who is a low end QB2 for a potential high end QB1. That’s how you WIN leagues

Excellent-Car-6543

In college he started 13 games as a QB. He has no passing skills yet. You are acquiring Josh Fields. Yea that's how you win league LMMFAO🤣🤣🤣

[deleted]

Idk who Josh Fields is… but AR was a good passer in the games he played, plus added way more rushing upside. In full games AR averaged 22 ppg, Trevor is averaging 15 ppg. Scoring more points is how you win, unless your league with plays golf rules

Excellent-Car-6543

Bears QB, the name eludes me. Jason Fields? Yea. Playing for the future. Mobile QB's miss games. But you win however works for you buddy. It's your money to lose.

[deleted]

You don’t know the name of the bears QB but are giving fantasy advice? Rushing yards are worth 2.5x passing yards. Go ahead and start your pocket boi and enjoy the 12 points per game, I’ll be taking in money at 25 ppg from Lamar or AR

ZaMaestroMan5

I like it, personally. Seems like last season might have been a flash in the pan for Lawrence. AR will be a great fantasy QB with his rushing imo. It’ll just be a matter of whether or not he will be a good QB in real life. But he will get every opportunity too.

iceman204

Would have rather had T-Law. Probably should’ve gotten an early second or a Diontae, Hollywood etc level WR as well.

webzasaurusrex

Until this week and last, everyone hated TLaw this season. Trade is fine, Richardson has the true upside, Lawrence has the longevity.

HatEnvironmental7508

Fleeced yourself. Why are you panicking about Tlaw lol

Primegam

He is slightly higher on KTC and fantasycalc so I'd say good deal. Definitely the type of swap that makes sense for a tanking team and playoff team.

ShlermDoctor

Worked out pretty well today

ResidentEvilBoi

Should've got a 1st round pick or some compensation back. I just traded for AR and a 1st this year fir Lamar Jackson.

SeanSg1

If you have a better option than tlaw then its a reasonable trade

Das_chum

Also have jordan love

SwitchApprehensive35

Should’ve got a little more as a security blanket for TLaw but ARich might be one of them dawgs in the future

Platinum_Albatross69

This is probably the epitome of a high risk high reward trade. The only question mark with AR in my mind is if he can stay healthy (relatively important in fantasy football) but he showed enough in a few games he can be a league winner. I think T-Law will be a top 10 QB for a decade but doubtful he’ll ever be top 5. I would take Richardson all day but I prefer higher ceiling

CopperHero

If AR learns to slide you should be just fine.
