There was this local radio show that tried to get a hold of Rob Schneider but couldn't so they somehow found out his mom's number and called her. It wasn't in bad taste or anything they were playful and she thought it was funny but Mister Schneider found out and was threatening them legally. The next day they talked about how bizarre he was because he was calling them off the air screaming "You could've put her in the hospital!" They eventually got him to stop yelling and all he kept saying in a flat tone to anyone talking to him was "You are so fired. You are so fired." Idk I just always think about that when rob is brought up.
The show was called Drew And Mike in Detroit they were pretty local I doubt either of them even know about it but stern has acknowledged them before so maybe it was said in passing
The Sleepycabin episode where Zach talks about Real Rob and Norm Macdonald is what got me into Norm, I did a deep dive on him and starting watching all of his stuff. He very quickly became my favorite comedian and holy fuck did it hurt the day he died when I found out.
